Olay Niacinamide + Vitamin C Eye Cream

Olay Eyes I don't use an eye cream, its never been a part of my skincare routine. But I'm in my 40's now and the fine lines around my eyes are more visual so this trial came at a good time. Starting off with packaging - it comes in a silver foil/clear box with a seal. It's eye catching and the information is straightforward- it has no added fragrance, parabens or dyes and says it brightens skin around the eyes, has fast absorption, is non-greasy and instantly hydrates and brightens (in a nutshell). Directions are to use it morning and evening on cleansed skin, massage it in all around the eyes. It contains Niacinamide and Vitamin C - I wasn't sure what Niacinamide was but have noticed it being advertised in serums and moisturisers lately so had a little read up and basically its a form of Vitamin B3 which is an essential nutrient that supports many cellular processes it has many benefits and aids keeping skin healthy - sounds great! I was a bit dubious about morning use because I wear makeup most days - wasn't sure how it would wear with makeup but it does absorb beautifully and makeup wears as it usually does so it wasn't an issue. The cream itself is slightly translucent more like a gel, has almost no scent and massages in easily. It feels fresh, smooth and hydrated afterwards - I move on to moisturising and brushing teeth to give it a few minutes to fully absorb and dry before starting on makeup. I feel like this is a good starting point for an eye cream, my fine lines aren't too prominent so for me this will be perfect for a few years.

Pros: - Lightweight and non-greasy formula - Absorbs quickly - Feels immediately refreshing and cooling - Hydrates and plumps the skin - The pottle makes it easy to 'dab' a small amount

Cons - Pricey for the amount of product you get

I really like everything about this cream except the price point!

This eye cream has become my go-to for daily use. As someone who is constantly on the go, this eye cream has been a life-saver.

Again, I was so excited to use this vit c and niacinimide powerhouse eye cream! I'm not a big user of eyw creams as they sem to be the same as normal face cream?? But, I love this one! The school.holodaya have been long and tiring and my under eyes are not afraid to show it! At first glance, although thr packaging is pretty - you can't read it! The print on the outside and have reflecting card on the inside. If I was wanting to do my back packing research I'd prob give up. Once inside,the small gold pottle is cute. Wit would be awesome to see the same amazing swirl as the moisturizer though. The cream is light to the touch but feel so good under eye. It may be the added moisture or gentle rubbing but either way - under eyes look good! I can't wait to see ill get lasting results from using this eye cream

I was very excited to trial this product as im always keen to try to improve dark circles and hydration around my eyes.

The outer packaging is a little disappointing. There is a lot of 'plastic-looking box' and although recyclable, you could fit 3 of the products into the one outer box. So I feel there is a lot of unnecessary waste of packaging materials there which could certainly be reduced. The product itself comes in a lovely, vibrant orangy-gold pot with a silver lid which looks very cute.

The product claims to: - Instantly hydrate and brighten skin around the eyes - Penetrate 10 surface layers deep to reveal skin’s natural radiant glow - Fast absorption, non-greasy It also has no added fragrance, parabens, phthalates or synthetic dyes which is great.

Upon my first application I found that the product has a very nice, light, delicate scent to it which I really like. It is more of a water-based, lightweight consistency rather than a cream. It absorbed well and didn't leave any kind of residue or stickiness on my skin.

After daily use, I did feel that the skin around my eye area was more hydrated, and dark circles and fine lines were less visible. I would say this eye cream would suit all skin types particularly dry types. I found it to be very hydrating and refreshing and it gave positive results compatible with other eye creams within similar prices and product ranges.

Overall I would use this eye cream again and I am happy with the results it gave. I would recommend using it with the same product range (day cream, serum and night cream) to benefit from maximum results.

I had the opportunity to trial the Olay Niacinamide and Vitamin C Eye Cream along side the matching moisturiser from the same range.

I don’t typically use an eye cream, so was excited to incorporate this into my skin care routine.

First impression was the cute packaging, and the perfect jar size. The texture is a light cream consistency, and it was easy to apply - dotting it on my skin underneath my eyes. It absorbs in quickly, felt cooling/refreshing and hydrating. I liked using this in the morning after cleansing my skin but before applying my moisturiser. I would let it settle in fully before applying any make up over the top, especially if you use a powder foundation.

After a few weeks of use, I saw an improvement in the skin texture underneath my eyes appears smoother and I’ve noticed a reduction in fine lines. I have noticed the skin under my eyes is brighter, and dark circles are not as noticeable before using the product. After a month of use, I don’t need the need to apply concealer as often under my eyes.

I like that the eye cream doesn’t have a fragrance, and I have recommended it to friends wanting to try an eye cream.

Olay eyes comes in a large plastic box that’s 3 times it’s size which makes it easy to spot however wasteful packaging, all the instructions and ingredients are printed on the packaging.

I have definitely noticed a reduction in the dark circles under my eyes looks like I’ve had more then 5 hrs sleep. I’m not a fan of the gold colour of the container and would like it to have matched the moisturiser and had a small scoop with it.

The white cream melts into your skin and absorb quickly and notice a quick difference definitely will be adding this to my collection and look forward to see more improvement with longer use

I struggle to find an eye cream that i actually like as i am very fussy but this i really do like. It is very lightweight and not greasy, it glides on soo easy and hydrates as i tend to get dry under my eyes but have not since using this. My under eye has gone from looking tired and dull to a lot brighter and very hydrated. you only need a small amount so this product will last a long time so i will be buying this again

I'll start with the negative point - wasteful packaging. The actual pottle is little but overly packed in an over sized multi layer contraction. All out of plastic so that's not really necessary.

The actual cream: As advertised super light, not a heavy cream that some products can be and you honestly don't need much.

There is a fresh mild scent that is kinda fruity - not offensive at all. It does also absorb quickly. By the time I've applied my serum it's absorbed in and so I'm ready for my moisturiser. I honestly cannot tell if there is much of a difference around my eyes but no irritation and the skin does feel hydrated so I think that's a positive.
