Olay Niacinamide + Vitamin C Moisturiser

I love vitamin c and niacinimide in general, put them in a moisturizer and we have a potential powerhouse!! The packaging looks so good but, boy, was it hard to open! Not kidding, I could not get into the box (yes, I could have walked all of the way down stairs for scissors), but it was late :) Once I did see the tub, it was gorgeous! The swirl was so pretty! The moisturizer itself has quiet a strong smell but feels so nice on my skin. I've been using it for 7 days now and I'm not sure if it's making a y huge difference long term but find my skin feeling subtle all day long. Will continue to use and cross my fingers that I have long term results

I'm always looking for the perfect moisturiser to keep my skin looking fresh and youthful, and this one largely hits the mark.

First off, the texture is amazing. It's lightweight and absorbs quickly, which is perfect for someone like me who hates feeling greasy all day. Plus, the scent is subtle and refreshing, not overpowering like some moisturisers can be.

But the real magic is in the ingredients. According to The Google, Niacinamide and vitamin C are two of the most powerful anti-aging ingredients out there, and this moisturizer packs them both in. My skin looks brighter and smoother after just a few days of use, and I can tell my fine lines are starting to fade.

So why not perfect marks? 1. It retails on the pricy side of supermarket skincare. 2. I found it a bit pill-y. It took a few uses to figure out the perfect amount to use, too much and I would be balling this off of my face hours later.

Overall, I highly recommend the Olay Niacinamide + Vitamin C Moisturiser.

Overall, I've been really impressed with this product. The combination of niacinamide and vitamin C makes for a powerful formula that has left my skin feeling brighter, more even, and more hydrated.

One of the things I love most about this moisturizer is how quickly it absorbs into my skin. It's not greasy or heavy, which makes it perfect for daily use. And even though it's lightweight, it still provides a ton of hydration, which is great for my dry skin.

I've also noticed that my skin looks more radiant and even-toned since I started using this moisturizer. The niacinamide has really helped to reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation, which is a huge plus for me.

However, I do have one small issue with this product - the packaging. While I appreciate it's pretty standard to come in a pottle, I prefer a tube or something I don't need to stick my fingers in to.

Pros: - It's lightweight and absorbs really quickly - No residue or greasy feeling - Subtle and refreshing scent, it's not overpowering for me. - It is affordable and will last a long time. - I've noticed skin is soft, smooth and just feels better than before.

Cons: - May not provide enough hydration for those with very dry skin - Some people may not like the fragrance, whilst not overpowering, it is an obvious fragrance. - May not work well under makeup for some users, I experienced a bit of pilling and had to omit my primer.

I would use it again as it's a really nice cream, it's just got a few things going on that might not suit everyone.

I had been dying to try a Vitamin C based product since reading about it on Beauty Review. I was so pleased to have the opportunity to try it out for myself. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful bottle. Although it's not essential for me, it does have an air of luxury to it which makes me feel nice. The citrus scent was subtle and pleasant and I was happy that it did include a scent as I feel it added to the experience of using a Vitamin C product. The formula was non-sticky and easily absorbed and for the first week I felt a noticeable "tightening" sensation which made me feel like it was really working. After 5 days I noticed a brighter appearance on my skin and it felt hydrated. It only took 11 days to notice the skin on my neck to appear improved and two weeks for the lines around my mouth to reduce. I genuinely enjoyed the soft, dewy appearance of just wearing the lotion on its own but it did bother me that it wasn't SPF and I often forgot to apply a layer of sunscreen over the top. However, this is the only downside for me. I loved using this product and will be including it in my permanent collection.

I really enjoy using Olay products as they feel very luxurious but are easily available at the supermarket. This lightweight yet nourishing moisturiser was no exception. Unfortunately this did break me out on my chin (as most Vitamin C products tend to do) . I did continue using it everywhere except my chin and took it down to my chest. The packaging is lovely and weighty so feels high end and would be easy to travel with as it’s quite solid. I did drop this on the floor and it didn’t leak or chip. This cream is quite heavily fragranced although it doesn’t last once applied it is definitely stronger in scent many of their other products. It smells a bit like apricot but in a more synthetic form. After one application I noticed a glow but unfortunately it was a bit too glowy for my oily/combination skin but would definitely be nice when my skin is on the drier side in winter or for anyone with normal to dry skin. I have been using this on my chest twice a day as I have quite a lot of sun damage from working outside most days. This has definitely improved the look of my skin and I really tho it’s made a difference to the dark sun spots there too. I would recommend this product but not for anyone that is acne prone or sensitive to Vitamin C. I do think I’ll purchase this again if only to use on my décolleté because it’s made such a difference to my skin.

I have used this for a few weeks now, found that it’s definitely brightened my skin while leaving it feeling hydrated! I also like that it isn’t too heavy, like I can put it on and go to the gym in the morning and it doesn’t block my pores etc. the texture is a bit more like a gel than a cream, but I like it! And smells really citrusy too!

I’m not a fan of product that have a lot of packaging the box has all the ingredients and instructions printed on it. Normal style olay pottle I like the swirl on it as it’s a bit different.

Thick white cream I didn’t really notice any scent to it would love it if it can with a small scoop or a pump top especially with long nails.

It definitely leaves my skin feeling hydrated and I don’t feel like I need to reapply like other products I’ve tried. You don’t need a lot and It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. While i have not yet skin more hydrated I haven’t noticed any difference to sunspots which hopefully might change with longer use. Nice combination with the eye cream, would love a matching serum to go with them.

A really lovely cream to use. The packaging is fairly standard Olay packaging, but it looks smart and the colours are nice and go with the citrus fragrance and ingredients. It has an inner lid which is good because the product doesn't get all over the outside lid so keeps the pot clean and easy to use (especially when travelling and the pot is upside down). The fragrance is a soft and refreshing citrus smell that is not overpowering and makes you feel refreshed and happy. The cream itself is super light and non greasy. It goes on really easy and absorbs well into the skin so my face wasn't oily afterwards. You don't need a lot, so the cream lasts a long time. I have used it religiously day and night for the past 3 - 4 weeks and i have only used about half a pot. I love that it is a day and night cream which limits the amount of bottles I have in the cupboard and was great to travel with - it definitely simplified my routine. And its a great price too. I also love that it is not full of nasties. I have an autoimmune condition, so that fact that it doesnt have sulphates and parabens etc is a definite winner for me. As far as results go - I have just turned 50, so my skin can be dry and has a lot of dark spots appearing now. The cream definitely gave me a healthy glow and hydrated my skin. My skin feels soft and supple in the morning and seems to stay hydrated all day, but I didn't find that it reduced the look of dark spots on my face at all. Overall it is a really lovely cream that is easy to use and made me feel refreshed and healthy. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I have been loving the Olay products recently and was so excited to try this one.

I love the smell of this moisturiser, it is heavily scented but it’s not too strong and I do like the smell.

It is extremely moisturising and blends into the skin really well, it doesn’t leave the skin looking oily.

I use this under my makeup and this has not interfered with the longevity of my makeup.

I have noticed an improvement in my skins texture and brightness. My dark spots appear lighter and less visible.

The only downside of this product is the jar, it’s quite heavy making it difficult to travel with however that’s just a small negative and I can work around this.

All in all I would happily continue using this as an everyday moisturiser
