Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream Review

I found this cream lovely to apply and it definitely gave my skin hydration. As for the claims about reduced appearance of lines and wrinkles, I didn’t notice any changes so I didn’t find that true for me. Overall, it was a good hydrating cream that made my skin feel soft and well moisturised.

First of all, I LOVE the packaging, the red jar is gorgeous and there's nothing more exciting than opening a new product and seeing something bright and beautiful like this! Also, catches my eye among all my other products! I love that it's in a jar so you know you definitely get all the product out, unlike other products with a pump or bottle. The cream itself is really nice, it's a good consistency, not too thick but not too thin. It felt quite light on my face and I didn't notice it after putting it on, like some creams can feel quite greasy. It covers well, you really don't need to use much at a time so I imagine the jar will last a good while. Easy to use twice a day so it's good to keep a wee skincare routine with and the fragrance of the cream is really, really nice. I can smell it on my skin for a while afterwards and it's beautiful. The price ranges from $40-$50 depending where you buy it from and I think that is reasonable for what it is. It definitely feels like a premium product and, personally, I felt pretty special using it. It's one of those products that just feels like a real treat to have and it is cheap compared to other similar products on the market. Now, the results. Well, I feel I do need to continue using it a little longer to be able to give a fully honest review on this one but I do feel it is making a slight difference. Personally, I do not expect miracles from these products because there is only so much "reversing" of aging that can be done via creams but when it comes to the fine lines, I believe it is making that slight difference and I just feel good that I am doing something that is making a difference to my skin. It feels healthier and brighter and that's great in itself, whether it fixes wrinkles or not! Would I recommend this product? Yes, I would. Why? It's affordable, it feels great, it looks great, and it just gives you a small boost in the day that makes you feel good about yourself and makes you feel proactive about your own skin! It's about the little things in each day that provide a small dose of happiness, and this is one of those little things!

I am a long time Olay user, though I usually just use the everyday moisturiser.

I found the Olay Regenerist to be very moisturising, it was very creamy and felt luxurious when applying. The cream seemed to absorb into my skin pretty quickly and didn’t leave my fingers or face feeling greasy.

Olay has quite a strong aroma when sniffing the jar, though the aroma wasn’t overpowering when applying.

The packaging seemed to make a lot of claims, I do believe my lines around my forehead were slightly duller - which is a great thing. So there is a chance further fine lines/wrinkles will reduce the longer I use this product.

I also found the moisturiser to be a good base for my primer and/or foundation.

My only downfall of this product is that it does not contain any sunscreen.

I was lucky enough to be picked by BR to review this product! Olay is a reliable brand and this face cream is a nice addition to their range. This face cream has a nice scent and is a good texture and weight. I have found some Olay face creams to be quite thick and heavy in the past but this one strikes a nice balance between not being too heavy or light. I'm lucky enough not to have any wrinkles yet but this face cream has made a nice difference to my skin and maybe its firmer, it's so hard to tell. The packaging is what you expect, a nice plastic jar that's not too big. I can have breakouts when I change my skin care products up but that didn't happen with this change which was good. I will keep using this after the trial period is up and am interested to see where my skin is at after 28 days of using the face cream.

I really love this moisturizer from Olay I feel given time it will deliver the promises it makes, it’s such a nice consistency on your skin it feels thick but just easily glides on your skin and then soaks in nicely to not feel at all heavy on your face but gives the right amount of moisture. It has a lovely scent and I’m finding it nice around my neck also so hoping it makes a nice difference there in time. I guess with any sculpting cream it doesn’t have the added spf factor which would be so nice to have. Definitely a cream which I will continue to use and see how many years can shave off my face.

I like Olay products, they are definitely a trusted brand and when they came out with this new line I was super curious to try it. I was not disappointed. The smell is just like any other Olay cream, not heavily scented and quite pleasant.

I've had this cream for a few weeks now and I can safely say it does what it claims and it's super moisturising and at that price point it really is worth it! Can't wait to try some of their retinol creams/serums.

When I got the invite for this moisturiser I was excited and couldn’t wait to try. The packaging of the moisturiser looks very high end- with the red and the silver teamed up, very stylish.

The moisturiser is quite thick consistency and pleasant smelling. It felt really nice on my skin. My skin can tend to be on the dry and sensitive side. This moisturiser sunk into my skin and gave it a lovely smooth surface to my foundation.

Overall I’m impressed about the quality of this moisturiser. I found it to be a really nice formula that worked well on my skin. I would recommend this and would repurchase.

I was extremely excited to try this cream as I am now mid thirties and the dreaded fine lines have started to make an appearance.

The cream comes in a sleek jar making it looks quite luxurious and expensive. The jar isn’t as heavy as it looks this making it easy to carry around in the makeup bag.

Upon opening the jar, the first thing I noticed was the smell. This cream smells beautiful. It has a lovely scent that makes you feel freshed.

The cream is quite thick which I like but it is easy absorbed into the skin.

I cannot say if it has helped with my fine lines, as I haven’t noticed a huge difference in this area but it has made my skin more supple and plump.

The texture of my skin has improved since using this cream and I have not experienced any breakouts.

It applies well under makeup and makes a great base.

I would definitely be purchasing this again when I run out.

I really hated looking into my car mirror on a sunny day, the dehydration in my skin made my fine lines far more visible and made me feel old.

I'm nearly 37 and the fine lines are definitely there now, made worst by the fact that I have really dry skin. I was excited to try Olay Regenerist Mirco Sculpting Cream, it made big claims: firms, plumps & reduces wrinkles.

The cream comes in a 50g tub, in my younger days I hated tub packaging but now I quite like it. I'm wondering if thats a age thing? The consistancy is thick and scented but absorbs easily. It instantly hydrates and the hydration lasts, I haven't felt nearly as dry as i normally would. This confirms the plumping claim and honestly it is the best cream I have ever used for hydration while not making skin oily or greasy. I have experienced a few extra jawline pimples lately, I'm hoping it's not this cream but I cant be sure.

I dont necessarily agree it will reduce wrinkles (yet) but because skin is less dry, lines appear less prominent, so it's a winner for me. Also the reduce wrinkles claim is after 28 days of use and I'm not quite there yet so here's hoping.

I used morning and night. Make up sits nicely on top. I will continue to use for sure. If you have dry, aging or showing signs of aging skin give it a whirl, you wont be disappointed.
