I really hated looking into my car mirror on a sunny day, the dehydration in my skin made my fine lines far more visible and made me feel old.
I'm nearly 37 and the fine lines are definitely there now, made worst by the fact that I have really dry skin. I was excited to try Olay Regenerist Mirco Sculpting Cream, it made big claims: firms, plumps & reduces wrinkles.
The cream comes in a 50g tub, in my younger days I hated tub packaging but now I quite like it. I'm wondering if thats a age thing? The consistancy is thick and scented but absorbs easily. It instantly hydrates and the hydration lasts, I haven't felt nearly as dry as i normally would. This confirms the plumping claim and honestly it is the best cream I have ever used for hydration while not making skin oily or greasy. I have experienced a few extra jawline pimples lately, I'm hoping it's not this cream but I cant be sure.
I dont necessarily agree it will reduce wrinkles (yet) but because skin is less dry, lines appear less prominent, so it's a winner for me. Also the reduce wrinkles claim is after 28 days of use and I'm not quite there yet so here's hoping.
I used morning and night. Make up sits nicely on top. I will continue to use for sure. If you have dry, aging or showing signs of aging skin give it a whirl, you wont be disappointed.
I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately I am just underwhelmed. Yes, my skin is moisturized, and maybe marginally smoother and brighter, but that took a couple of weeks of use. I also do not feel that my skin is firmer, in fact I feel there has been no overall shift in my skin. I also feel that the moisturiser could have potentially been richer and more moisturizing, and maybe that would have seen a shift.
Potentially a good regular day cream for under makeup, but not one I would be repurchasing, there is a lot better products on the market, and a little cheaper pricepoint.
