Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream Review

This product came to me to review in the full 50g size pot. The packaging is lovely and bright and definate makes you believe you are using a high end product. Once I got it out of the box and the screw top lid off, I had immense trouble getting the plastic disc off to get to the product and had to resort to a sharp knife to 'break the seal'. After a few challenges of removing this, I decided to leave it off, no more seal issues. The product itself felt quite light, it was a creamy consistency and went on my skin really well. There was no residue left over so my skin had absorbed the product . My skin is quite dehydrated during winter and after a few days this definately helped, even the flaky skin around my nose improved. It did brighten my skin and even out the skin tone which is great as I found using just a BB cream as my makeup base was enough, instead of primer & a medium coverage foundation. As to reducing wrinkles etc, I'm not sold. I think I would need to use it a bit longer to see any real marked difference. I think it reduced the appearance of the finer lines around my eyes slightly, prob due to my skin being more hydrated than anything else. It certainly did not do anything for my deep frown lines... *sigh*. My skin is quite sensitive and it did react a little for the first week with a little pimple here and there but after that, no worries. Overall, I've enjoyed using this product, I think it does enough to warrant me wanting to buy it again. Although the price tag is a little steep, I think it would last for ages so I could justify that.

I always end up coming back to Olay! For years (read: decades) it was my go-to brand and then I got adventurous and started trying other brands. But I always return!

I'm 53 with the usual ageing suspects, fine lines, a few wrinkles. I have a rosey complexion.

After using the Miracle Boost serum, I followed with the Micro Sculpt cream. The glass pot is so classy, I love it. The name sounds a bit clinical for my liking, but hey, its not about the name right!

This was a rich, thick cream - much thicker than my usual lotion! It reminds me of a night cream.

It's easy to apply and rub in, but I did feel a bit 'tacky' to the touch for a few hours after. This subsided about a week in and now it absorbs with no issue. Maybe my skin just needed to get used to it? I've been using this more at night than in the morning though - if my skin feels particularly dry first thing, I'll use this, otherwise my usual Olay lotion, which feels lighter.

A few weeks of daily use, my fine lines have reduced, quite dramatically, in fact. I think my skin tone is more even.

I'm not sure if its the cream, the essence or both - probably both. I'll definitely continue to use them together, and I will repurchase.

I think I'll easily get 8 weeks out of the routine, maybe more, which makes the price really competitive compared to other anti-ageing products on the market.In short, I think this is a really great routine and highly recommend it. The results after just a few weeks have blown me away!

I used this cream in conjunction with the Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence. The packaging is a gorgeous red with a pretty silver lid. I felt so grown up having 2 matching products sitting on my bathroom vanity. Because I used this product in conjunction with the Pre Essence I cant say exactly which product gave me the amazing results but I am sure this cream had something to do with it! I applied the cream morning and night after the Pre Essence. I found the texture of the cream really different. It is a very dense cream, but then glides on smoothly onto my skin, it almost "melts" into it. Leaving make up ready skin. No greasy after feel. Immediately the cream improved the texture of my skin. I have been using the product twice a day for a month and the results have been amazing. The most noticeable change is the my skin looks so much clearer and brighter. It looks and feels firmer. I had some visible pores around my nose,and they have been reduced. I dont have any deep wrinkles, but I do have some visible wrinkles on my forehead, I swear they have smoothed out. So combined with the great visible results and the value for money (I've only used about a third of the jar) I would definitely recommend this product.

I have always have ended up returning to faithful Olay.

Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturiser is now going to be a must have faithful added to my everyday routine. It's a rich cream that is easy to apply goes on smoothly. I have not experienced any breakouts and has smoothed and hydrated my face.

I love the fragrance and feel of the cream, and the packaging looks great. You don't need to use much it goes a long way. I think it's a nice cream feels nice on your face and affordable.

Thanks BR for giving me the opportunity to trial this cream. I love how smooth and velvety it feels on my skin. I have been using it once/twice a day for two weeks now but unfortunately I have not noticed any changes in fine lines or wrinkles! But I will give it more time and finish the jar. The packaging is very flash, eye catching. I love the smell but it does smell too much like hair conditioner. Not too sure about this stuff, will update my review after 28days, I might end up looking 10 years younger, then I'd def keep paying $50 a pot.

I used for the first time at night after cleansing and wow, the next morning my skin felt amazing! I usually have ok skin about from the odd blemish. I've been using it on and off for the a month and my skin is still great. I usually forget to apply it. If I were better, I imagine my skin would be amazing

I have just started getting some fine lines, and as someone who has written many research articles on anti-aging face products, I was interested to see how this product would compare to it's clinical trial.

Personally, I can't say I've seen a difference in the fine lines - and maybe the ones I've got just can't be helped. But it did boost hydration, which for some people would also affect their fine lines.

Wrinkles aside, Olay have done a lovely job of presenting their cream in a deluxe looking glass jar. The cream is also rich and hydrating, which is the main thing I look for in a cream.

If you like a thick cream that keeps the skin feeling bright and moisturized, you will like this, but don't expect it to micro sculpt your lines.

I managed to nab a tub of Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream in a previous Beauty Review Vault, along with a tube of Olay 7-in1 moisturiser.

The Micro-Sculpting Cream is packaged in a 50g red pot with a silver screw top lid. The thick white cream inside has an almost perfumed scent, which is not unpleasant, and the cream spreads well and is easily absorbed, so not a lot is needed.

I used a small pea sized amount, the perfect size for my oily skin, and then gently massaged it in an upward circular motion over my neck and face.  One thing I did discover is that it's important not to massage this cream for too long, as it does start to for little balls if rubbed for too long.  Only massage the skin for as long as it takes to gently spread the cream around evenly.

Even though I'm not a fan of tub or pot packaging, I really liked this moisturiser (although out of the two that I got, I prefer the 7-in-1).  The micro-sculpting cream lived up to my expectations and definitely left my skin feeling more hydrated and a bit more plump.

I love this product. It was easy to apply on my skin and left a nice feeling afterwards. It has a good texture. Only a small amount needs to be applied and it stretches quite far. I do feel more confident afterwards and have noticed smoother skin and a shine in my skin. I am yet to see a more definitive sculpting of my fine lines and wrinkles on my face. Looking forward to keep trying it.
