Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream Review

A nice smell but only mildly scented. Some face creams are a little too heavily scented for my preferences. This is subtle and pleasant.

The cream itself is a good consistency: not so thick that it takes ages to work into the skin but thick enough that it does not 'drip' or slip down into the eyes.

The cream alone is effective in reducing the appearance of fine smile lines and improving the overall plumpness of skin.

I didn't notice any brightening.

I received the Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream as part of a duo trial with the Olay Miracle Youth Pre-Essence. The product comes nicely packaged in a easy to use jar. You only need a small amount of the cream, after applying the pre-essence, smoothening over your face and neck, twice daily. The face cream has a faint but pleasant fragrance which doesn’t over power the senses. It is also absorbed easily and doesn’t have any greasy or sticky feel to it. I found I could skip my primer and apply makeup over this face cream without any issues. Upon application I noticed visibly reduced pores and an overall smoothness. Skin felt hydrated and moisturised even during peak winter. Continuous use over the past three weeks, twice daily resulted in smoother, firmer and brighter skin with visibly reduced fine lines. Absolutely love it! I have decided to buy the eye cream of this skin care range to try it as well.

I was lucky enough to trial this product on my 50+ skin. The consistency feels lightweight, rich and silky, and not heavy or greasy. The fragrance is light and very pleasant. Within a week of using this cream with the youth pre-essence I noticed that my skin was feeling smooth and soft and not in need of my usually weekly exfoliation treatment. This continued, and every day, my skin felt the same as it did immediately after exfoliation. My skin feels and looks more hydrated and appears smoother.

I certainly do not look any younger in the 4 weeks, my jowls do not appear to be more sculpted, but my skin does appear softer, smoother and hydrated and I like the results.

I would like to continue using it, and would recommend it to others.

I'm been using this moisturiser for 3 weeks and have been really enjoying it. The packaging is lovely and looks expensive and the cream itself feels luxe. I have dry skin and prefer a richer cream at night time, so have been using this during the day. It feels rich and nourishing when applied, but sinks in to a soft matte finish. It's not greasy at all, and makeup applies perfectly on top of it. It has no discernible fragrance. I've used this for three weeks, and my skin feels and looks good. I've occasionally reacted to skincare ingredients, but this has been fine. I suspect that it contains silicone, which would explain the lovely smooth feeling it leaves, so if you'd prefer to avoid silicone this one might not be for you. I think it would be good for dry to combination skins, very dry or very oily skin types might prefer a different product.

Beautiful product, come in a great size pottle of 50g. I was super excited to try this OLAY Regenerist Cream on my skin that has been looking very dull of late.... This product definitely gave it a much need boost & left my skin looking hydrated & fresh. Was super easy to use & I was able to apply my make up very soon after applying. This is definitely on my list of must haves now.

Packaging: The packaging is attractive and I'm quite happy to leave it on display. The container is like any other face cream container - when they figure out how I can get cream out without getting it all under my nail it would be great!

Product: The smell of the product is good, it smells a bit like shampoo so it is familiar and not overpowering at all which is important for me as I can be sensitive to scents. The feel of the cream is much like other face creams. I did however find that my skin was much greasier throughout the day with the cream on. One of the days I forgot to put the cream on and only used the Miracle Boost Youth Pre-essence and my skin didn't feel greasy at all and my makeup stayed much better.

Results: I honestly didn't see any results other than any other face cream would provide. I did not notice any major differences or improvements to my skin tone except for a patch of eczema which healed much faster but I attribute that to the skin cell renewal claims of the Miracle Boost used with the cream. Scientifically it might have helped but visually I saw no difference.

Conclusion: Because this made my face feel quite heavy and oily I probably wouldn't buy this.

Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Micro-Sculpting Cream comes in a lovely red jar with silver lid and is easy to open and use. The white cream is thick and luxurious but is easy to apply and I found absorbed quickly. It has a really nice subtle fragrance that is not overpowering. I used twice daily and massaged all over my face and neck area. I have only been using for two weeks but have noticed that my fine lines are smoother and my skin is a lot firmer.

The cream feels really nice on and even my husband commented on my skin! I'm looking forward to Day 28 where the cream claims to be able to reverse the appearance of up to 10 years of wrinkles!! It has a lot of work to do on my face but even if it doesn't, I have noticed a difference in my skin and will continue to use this great face cream. I would definitely recommend that you try it!

I actually really loved this product. The bright red and silver packaging is lovely and looks great in the bathroom. I did initially find the smell off putting as it smells like a hair product in my opinion, and i was concerned the fragrance would be over powering - how wrong was I? The cream itself is a velvety white cream that looks and feels really thick however is absorbed into the skin quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky nor does it have a "heavy" feel on the skin. The fragrance isn't too bad at all and dissipates quickly. Results were fantastic! Within a couple of days my skin looked healthier and definitely plumper - I luckily don't have a lot of wrinkles but I have large pores and quite a bit of hormone discoloration which has definitely faded. Pore size is reduced and my skin looks and feels smoother. I would definitely be using it again and making my husband try it! It didn't take 10yrs off but it has a made a noticeable difference to the appearance and feel of my skin.

Lovely thick cream which once applied absorbed nicely and left my face feeling hydrated and refreshed. I used the cream in conjunction with the other products in the range so it's difficult to know which made the most difference. I have noticed an improvement in the general condition of my skin and it's appearance so will continue to use thsee products

This product comes in a red tub. I prefer products to come in a pump bottle as I don't like dipping my fingers in the cream and getting product under my nails. You do not need to use a lot of product as a little goes a long way. I applied it to my face, neck and décolletage. It is quite thick but spreads easily. It didn't absorb into my skin and left it feeling quite oily and sticky. I don't have time to wait an hour before applying my foundation so found my foundation was diluted and didn't give as good coverage as it normally does. I have used this product for 3 weeks but my skin broke out on my T section after a week of use. (Am 43 years old with fine lines, so thought this product would be ideal). Am going to discontinue using this product as it has not delivered on it's promises.
