Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Night Cream

I wasn’t a big fan of this night cream mainly because of the texture - it feels a bit chalky. The only way I can describe it is to liken it to a blur cream. You definitely don’t need much as it does spread well, but I felt like it sat on my skin for quite a while and was strange to the touch. Once it finally did feel like it absorbed, my skin felt smoother and appeared hydrated but the texture really deterred me. The cream comes in the classic Olay packaging which is nice with the glass and the portion is generous when considering the price. I don’t feel like I noticed a major difference to my skin in using this cream - my skin did feel hydrated but I didn’t notice changes to the appearance of wrinkles or really any more plumpness than usual. I wouldn’t purchase this to continue use as I just can’t get past the texture.

I was excited to try this as I loved the day cream from this range however unfortunately I don't think this product is for me.

I wasn't keen on the gel like consistency of this cream, it felt weird on my skin and I feel like it didn't absorb as well as it could've if it was a cream or serum. Perhaps it's more suited to dry skin.

I didn't mind that it was non-fragrant.

I did like the size packaging as it made it look luxurious and comparable to high end products.

I didn't see a noticeable difference on my skin, perhaps I need to use it for a little bit longer.

I think I will use this on days that I don't use anything else.

This was a lovely night cream to use that felt beautiful on my skin. It hydrated nicely as promised. I didn't notice my fine lines reduced which was disappointing. It was nice to know there were less nasties in this cream.

Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Night Cream comes in a 50g pot, without a spatula so I opted just to use my fingers to scoop out the desired amount rather than find a spatula substitute. The pot itself has a nice look and is appealing in a deep cherry red with a silver cap.

The texture of the cream differs to others I have used. It's thick enough that it won't slip off your hand if you were to tilt in downwards. It's almost a hybrid between and cream and a gel and has a transparency to it. It has a pleasant scent, not to strong and pretty unnoticeable after application.

The formula rubs into the skin easily and you dont need a lot, however because of the texture I don't feel like it really sinks in that far, it feels more like a waterproof barrier on the skin. It leaves a slight film over your palms which made me want to wash them afterwards.

I do agree that skin feels plumper after application, I'm still unsure after this trial period whether it has indeed reduced the appearance fine lines, I don't want to say it has however I don't want to say it hasnt either. It is a night cream and I am happy enough with my skin in the morning although I do still feel the need to apply a morning moisturizer.

Overall I'm still on the fence here, not overally a fan of the texture and I'm yet to decide whether I'm for or against at about 3 weeks in.

Using this at the moment as it was on special at the supermarket, and half price , it feels nice when it goes on and unfortunately leaves a sticky feel to my skin afterwards My skin feels good in the morning, though and l also bought the Olay Whip cream , with uv protection, its creamy and does not have the same sticky feel , it goes in really well, unlike the other night cream, I like the way the creams make my skin feel and its just a shame about the non whipped version Thanks

The cream is a lovely texture, its spreads and absorbs well. I followed instructions to apply in upward motions and focused around the brows. There is a very noticeable firming feeling as you're massaging the cream in.

My face feels hydrated and a little plump in the morning, but not oily. My forehead lines seem to have softened out so they're not as deep.

I believe the Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Night Cream has definitely improved the hydration, fine lines and skin firmness of my face over the last 4 Meeks of trialling this product.

Packaged up in a vibrant red pot. I did find the inner lid a bit of a battle each time I want to use my cream. The cream it’s self was easy to apply and a little went a long way. It certainly felt like you had a cream on when you had rubbed it all in but my skin always felt hydrated in the morning. It did not cause any irritation or redness during the month of trial. Would definitely use again.

I have only recently started to use Olay products again after many years of using other brands. I have been impressed with the quality and development of Olay products more recently and it was a pleasure to trial the Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Night Cream.

The product comes in tamper resistant packaging which is really great and gives you the assurance that your product is fresh and untouched right up until you open it.

The packaging style and design is in line with the type of skin care brands Olay is comparable to however, one thing I did not like so much is the size of the outer box. It is quite wide and twice the height of the actual product, so it evoked a slightly disappointed reaction as the actual product looked so much smaller in comparison when I opened it.

Upon my first application of the product I found it to be a light to medium textured, gel consistency night cream. As per the directions, only a small amount is required and best applied to the face after warming it between your fingertips, for an even application. It glides on very well, is a pale peachy colour and has a lovely smooth texture, leaving my skin feeling silky like satin. It has a pleasant discreet scent, with only a very slight fragrance to it. I find the cream/gel itself to be of a light to medium, water based type consistency. It would be best suited to those that have a normal to dry skin type, it feels very hydrating.

My favourite thing about this product is how it pretty much - immediately after application, visibly reduced the appearance of my pores and improved my skin texture. It absorbs well and is not oily at all, it leaves a beautiful silky smooth, dewy finish. A little goes a long way with this product so no need to apply very much at all. With the 50g size I would estimate this cream/gel would last at least 3 months or more with a daily application.

I find the product to be very refreshing on my skin. After using the product every evening before bed, I do feel my skin is very refreshed and the texture and radiance has certainly improved. By visibly reducing my pores it also has the effect of visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I can't say I have noticed my skin feeling any firmer since using the product but the appearance and texture of my skin certainly has certainly improved.

I would recommend using this product along with the rest of the Olay Regenerist range (day cream, face serum and eye serum) to get the best results of the product range working in harmony together. Overall a very nice, light yet nourishing night cream which does deliver noticeable results and visibly improves skin texture.

I was on the trial team for this product, and have used it now for just over 3 weeks. The cream comes in the dark red plastic pottle with silver lid - a good size & will probably last 2 - 2 1/2 months on current usage. The cream itself is a thickish creamy/gel translucent texture & non greasy. There is no dissernable fragrance & apart from a few days of redness about a week in, my dry, sensitive skin had no reactions. Skin is soft and hydrated when first put on at night. In the morning, skin feels & looks plumper & hydrated. Not sure about 2x better exfoliation - maybe a little extra. After about 25 days of using, I can't say the change is dramatic, but I guess it is firmer in some areas and a few of the lines and wrinkles may have been reduced - certainly no more have arrived, which is a plus! I have been using this in combo with the Olay Luminous Niacinamide Hyaluronic Super Serum during the day. The combo seems work ok, but as above, nothing dramatic. I will continue to use until I finish the pottle, but I'm still undecided whether to rebuy.

I love this night cream, it has a really nice consistency almost a gel like cream. Has no strong scent to it. Literally just dab your finger into it and apply to your face it an upwards motion. Don't need much at all, a little really spreads out nicely. I've been using this every night for a few weeks and still have 3/4s of the jar left so definitely has value for money. Also love that it has a protection lid on it so no spillage on the lids or out the sides for if you are taking away with you. I haven't noticed all that much difference in my wrinkles as such but skin is definitely more hydrated and lines seem to be slightly less visible. Definitely would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin after a nice moisturizing night cream as I haven't had any issues.
