Olay Regenerist Overnight Miracle Regime Review

I was so enthusiastic when I read of all the benefits of this threesome and quickly bought all 3. I have been following the recommended regime for a while now and I must say I have been a bit disappointed in the results. I have experienced a bit of itching skin around my nose & lip area, but think that I might have been a bit too keen and may have used too much of the miracle boost youth pre-essence. Really only a drop from this clever dispenser is all that is needed, so will keep you posted as to the results - now that I am being a bit more restrained !

When I opened the boxes I was like - what? The box is three times bigger than the product! However, the products are so intense, that you really only need a dab of each anyway.

The Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence is awesomely packaged into a tube with a syringe thing on top. The pack says to use two shots, but really, one is more than enough. It's a clear, glutinous liquid that glides on and feel very refreshing. You use it first, let it sink in and then apply the next cream.

The Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream is a day creme that smells nice and nourishes your skin. I have quite dry (and old, lol) skin, so this was perfect. And again, you just need a dab. I've been using it for nearly a month and have hardly made a dent in the pot. It's super good value for money and left my skin feeling nourished and happy!

The Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Night Cream is quite different. It's a thick sort of gel that is super easy to apply and leaves your skin looking very dewy and glowy. DO NOT make the mistake that I did and use a dollop, like a normal moisturiser. It was incredibly sticky and took forever to sink in. (Even with a dab, it seems to leave a tacky film on the skin, but the next day, your skin will look great, even if your pillowcases don't!)

After a few weeks of using these products, I have noticed that my skin is noticeably smoother and hydrated. I can't say it has wiped away my fine lines altogether, but it definitely hasn't made them worse. And it's great value for money too.

I have enjoyed using the three products in this regime over the last few weeks.

Firstly as always the packaging, it has a very "expensive" feel and is very luxurious in bold red packaging. I love the eye dropper type lid on the miracle boost serum, it made using it super easy, with one full drop on my face and another for my neck and chest. On the outside of the box for both the miracle boost and micro sculpting cream they have money back guarantee, which gave high expectations for them to deliver. After several weeks of using the regime religiously every morning and evening, I can say my skin definitely feels tighter and looks plumper, esp in the evenings when I feel tired but my skin still looks great. I haven't noticed a lot of wrinkle reduction but will keep using the products for a full conclusion.

I have super sensitive skin so I was slightly concerned that I would get irritated if the products were highly scented, but these 3 products DO have a soft fragrance to them, but have not caused any irritation which is great!! I like the formula of all three products with the day cream, miracle boost being a serum and the night cream being more like a cream and gel texture, they all soaked into my skin really well without becoming greasy or feeling heavy.

Overall these are products I would probably re purchase, I have found a little goes a long way so the price is pretty good for the amount of product you get and I imagine would last me a good 3 months. Will be super interested to see what my skin is like after using this for another month, will update with full conclusion once I am finished the products xx

So I was VERY lucky to be selected to trial these products from Olay!

Firstly I really loved the packaging of the jars/bottle - the colour is awesome with red being one of my favs and look great with the contrasting silver lids. The lid of the Pre-Essence Serum is cool as it's a dropper which you pump to get a dose, so nice and easy to use. The other jars are your usual twist off, then you need to pop off the little sealer to get to the product (I must say I did have a little difficulty getting the sealer top off the first time haha). But once used it's easy to pop off and on.

Ok so I cleansed my face first, waited for it to dry then I used the Pre-Essence serum, it did say to keep away from eyes and lips which I did. Once that had dried I then applied the Micro Sculpting Night Cream. I actually really like the smell of them :) They both went on easily, you don't need a lot to go a long way which is great as it should last a while. I didn't notice any tingling or stinging which was good, so went to bed and let it soak in. The next morning I used the Micro Sculpting Cream before applying my BB Cream and foundation (which I used daily). One thing I found was that my skin was quite greasy during the day, which I don't like, but I think that was because I was using a BB Cream AND the intense day cream so was over saturating my skin which is not a bad thing as it was a little dry.

Ok to be totally honest I haven't noticed a HUGE difference after using the Olay Regenerist Regime for about 2 weeks, however in saying that my skin definitely appears brighter and feels a little softer. It has helped a bit with some fine lines around my eyes (crows feet) and also on my nose (which is from pulling too many faces haha), so yes I think it has helped my skin appear a little younger (woohoo!)

I think that these will continue to improve as I keep using the products though, so am definitely going to keep using them.

I will start with my favourite product, The Miricle Boost Youth Pre-Essence. This comes in a 40 ml red bottle with a very clever silver dispenser top. After cleansing and toning, you apply this slightly scented esscene, avoiding your eye area but including your neck. This feels light and fresh, and with the promise of penetrating 10 layers deep to provide 1.5 times of hydration, is it any wonder it is my favourite product.

In the evening I use the essence and the I use the Micro-Sculpting Cream for Night. This comes in a 50g red jar with a silver lid. The cream has a gel like texture to it. There is not a lot of fragrance, however there is a bit of an artifical smell to it, not strong but it would have been nicer to have more of a pleasent smell to it. With this product less is more! A very little goes a long way. It goes onto your skin easily and absorbs nicely. It does take a while to absorb so I changed my routine a bit and started earlier so this could absorb well into my skin and not on my pillow.

The third part of this lovely trio is the Micro-Sculpting Cream for Day. This is a different texture to the night as this is more of a cream. Again the fragrance is similar to the night, I feel there could be a bit more of a nicer smell. I found this to be quite a rich cream which might be a bit too rich for some skin types. While using this I tried not using a primer and this worked well for me.

Overall I found these products worked well together. I have noticed some small changes in my skins appearence which I am very happy with. Fine lines and even some that are not so fine are becoming less noticable. My skin has a beautiful softness to it as well.

I was very excited to be given these products to trial as I normally just basic supermarket quality ones and was keen to see how these would compare.

Firstly, the packaging of the products is very classy as well as being functional. The red and silver looks nice together and the jars are easy to screw open. The dropper tool on the Miracle Boost is also easy to use and dispenses the right amount of product and also clicks easily back into place afterwards.

The scent of the products is light and pleasant and won't clash with anything else you are wearing. The consistency is also nice - it absorbs easily into the skin without feeling too sticky or uncomfortable.

I found the products to work pretty well. My skin felt a lot softer and smoother but i wouldn't say it miraculously changed it. I would probably need to keep trialing it over the next few months until I've finished the products to see the long term effects.

Overall, I think these are well worth trying. They are more expensive than a lot of other products but the quality means that I think they are well worth the price.

I think the packaging of this product is eye catching in its red and black I couldn't wait to try it. Love the serum bottle as you get the right amount (no over usage - which I would do otherwise) it sinks into the skin quickly before moisturiser and it never feels like an overload. I have reacted to some anti-aging creams in the past and was so rapt that with Olay Regenerist my skin has been wonderfully fine - no reaction whatsoever. My skin does feel more moistured and smoother after using this regime for a couple of weeks. I studied my face the other day and I still have fine lines and wrinkles but then I'm a woman now in her fifties so am expecting huge miracles that they have completely disappeared! Some look a little softer perhaps. My benefits from using Olay Regenerist have been the condition of my skin has improved and I have found the micro-sculpting cream makes a good base for my makeup. Really what this cream is delivering is good value for money and I will definitely consider using this product in the long term.

I was fortunate enough to try the Olay Regenerist Trio of 'Miracle Boost' Youth Pre-Essence, with the Olay Regenerist micro-sculpting cream moisturiser - both the day and night product. Its a regime that when I used them together, I could almost feel my skin 'lifting' and tightening, the result was that I felt it 'ironed out' some of my lesser wrinkles, on my forehead in particular. Individually: Olay Regenerist Miracle Boost Youth Pre-Essence - cool, unique dispenser where you twist the lid off and it fills the eye-dropper inside with serum. Had I have read the instructions on the pack back, this would have been easy but it took me a few minutes to work it out! They recommend 'two pumps' per dosage, I found one was plenty for my face and absorbed quickly. Two pumps took longer to absorb but was perfect when I was doing my face and neck. Minimal fragrance which I like for pre-products before moisturiser application. I used a toner prior to application. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturiser: my favourite of the 3 products because its absorption was fast (a few minutes), its medium weight so easy to apply and has a light fresh apple type fragrance. A small amount went a long way so I think its very good value for money. My only comment is that it doesn't appear to have a sunscreen in it? I think this is essential in NZ to protect skin and I don't want to apply a sunscreen in addition to the Youth Pre-Essence and Moisturiser in case it diminishes the effectiveness of the combination. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Night Cream Moisturiser: clearly a critical component as most skin repair is done while we sleep. I am used to heavier night creams so to use a gel-type consistency was quite different for me - initially it took some getting used to, almost like putting a thin layer of glue on your face. Once applied though, it also absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling silky to touch. My only criticism would be that I like lots of fragrance in my night creams and this has some when applied, but it quickly dissipates to leave a slightly chemical aroma which I didn't find very pleasant. All in all, very good and would certainly continue to use as it did what it said would.

The pack is for a serum, night cream and day cream. The serum is a clear thick liquid that goes on first twice a day. It is easy to apply and is absorbed very quickly. Next comes the day or night cream. The day cream is very rich and luxurious. The night cream is a bit jelly like. Both feel very rich and don't leave your skin feeling greasy. After using the products for a couple of weeks, my complexion is looking fantastic. I have sensitive skin and have had no adverse reactions to using this product. My skin feels wonderful with these product, very smooth. I think I have even noticed that those fine lines are definately less than before,they are still there but have a softer feel. The creams are very good value, you can pay a lot more for products with similar claims that might not actually work as well. I wasn't keen on the smell on the creams or serum. I will definately be recommending these products to my friends,

I was super excited to be sent this to trial, given my sun-damaged, late-30s skin, and I have to say, Olay Miracle Regime has not disappointed! This product has indeed performed mini-miracles on my skin, even in just 2 weeks.

Every morning and night I have been applying the serum after cleansing. This readily absorbs and doesn't feel oily or sticky (I loath that feeling), and I can instantly see the difference in my skin (face, neck, décolletage) - it seems plumper and more glowing. The serum is in a pretty red bottle with an easy to use dropper and lasts well, as you don't need a lot since it spreads over the skin nicely.

I have also been applying the day cream to my neck and chest area in the mornings, and the fine lines have been less obvious appearing. Because I wear sunscreen every day, I felt it would be too much to also use the day cream on my face - a recipe for break outs.

In the evening I additionally apply one of the moisturisers to my face. I'd initially been using the night cream every night, but it is quite rich and heavy if you're prone to break outs. Hence, I've been alternating between the night and day cream for evening use, and my skin is looking luscious!

Again, lovely red pots and a little definitely goes a long way. My only reason for a 4/5 on would you use again rating, is that I prefer bottles where air and fingers can't contaminate the product.

I think this system is fantastic value for money, as it really seems quite effective - and I tend to be very sceptical and picky about skin care. I've also had some compliments about how good my skin is looking since using this, so big bonus!
