I was super excited to try this product for a variety of reasons, first because my skin is so dry the sound of a 24-hour intensive moisturising product is exactly what I needed, also because I have been trying to find a new night cream that really nourished my skin. So, did it live up to my expectations? ABSOLUTELY! The cream comes in a good-sized jar which looked really nice and my bathroom vanity. Opening the jar there is a second lid which keeps a product fresh. The cream is not too heavy not too light and you only need a small amount as a goes quite far. It is very lightly fragranced. To my surprise when I woke up in morning after my first application my skin was still hydrated and plump! After a week of using it my skin has improved each day starting as a very dry parched skin now nice and nourished. I find my foundation goes on a lot nicer now. Definitely recommend this 100%

Reviews
Tips: Avoid the eye area as this is quite active. Also use sunscreen each day as it will make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
This is such a gorgeous moisturiser.
Loved the packaging and the fact it has no added fragrance. The cream is nice and thick and feels expensive. It soaks in quickly in the evening before bed and does not leave my skin feeling oily.
I have been using it every second day so far and I love how plump and healthy it has been leaving my skin. So far I can’t tell if it’s improving my fine lines but I’m looking forward to continuing using this product.
Lovely night moisturiser!! This cream is a good thickness, just right i found. Easy to apply, no fragrance. I put dots all around my face then rubbed it all in, at first it feels abit wet then after about 30 seconds my face is so soft and nice. It lasts all night as I can still feel it on my skin in the morning before I wash. I have used about 1/4 of the container in 3 weeks, so I think it will last a while, good value for the cost. Packaging is nice, very easy to read and understand how to use and what it does. After using it for 3 weeks I feel my skin is plumper and definitely more smoother and feels refreshed and hydrated in the morning, and have noticed my fine lines are bit less visible, hope it will do more after using it longer. Very happy with this product as I haven't used many products with retinol before.
Tips: Try it , you won't be disappointed:)
I was excited to try this as I am in my 30's now and have begun an anti-ageing skincare routine. I have already been using a Retinol serum for over a year so I already had a tolerance and could dive right into using this night cream.
I kept the rest of my skincare super simple while trialing this so I could really gauge its effectiveness. I stopped using my Retinol serum and just paired this with a simple cleanser in the evening to avoid any irritations.
This product comes in really nice packaging. A purple tub with a silver lid. While I don't think its glass (more of a thick plastic), its very sturdy so wont break when travelling.
As a dry skin gal, I usually go for a super rich, heavy night cream that leaves my skin feeling wet. The finish with this cream is different, unlike any I've used. It dries down really quick and leaves an almost powdery finish on the skin. It still feels very hydrating and my skin doesn't feel tight in the morning.
I've been using this cream now for just shy of three weeks and have noticed a reduction in my problem areas (smile lines around the mouth and under my eyes). My skin also has a noticeable increase in smoothness. I will keep using this until it is finished and provide any updates.
Tips: Retinol can make your skin sensitive to the sun so only use it in the evening, and make sure you wear an SPF daily.
I had the pleasure of trialing the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24night moisturiser. The packaging is pleasant on the eye, I actually really like the colour blue they have used for the package and the jar. The cream itself doesn’t have a strong smell like many other products, it’s quite a mild fragrance not overpowering. The texture is very smooth and silky, and feels silky on the skin. Immediately my skin felt like it had taken a huge drink, it felt silky and hydrated, I’d even venture to say it felt plumper. My dark areas are slightly faded, and I hope will continue to fade with continued use. My skin feels smoother as well. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this product, as I usually react to the fragrance but I really like this moisturiser and will definitely keep using. I’ve also noticed I don’t have dry patches that I’ve acquired recently so major bonus!
Almost imminently after application my skin is left very silky smooth! Haven’t had this before with any of my creams. I love the texture of the product, not to heavy and is fragrance free! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good night cream that does the job and leaves you with great skin overnight.
Tips: The time to invest in your skin with retinol is now, whether you’re a youngin or not - retinol prevents wrinkles and has many benefits to the skin.
I read lots of reviews of this products and wanted to try this for the hype. But yes must say it is worth the Hype. From the first application your skin feels soft and smooth. Apply at night after washing your face and gives you plumped and soft skin. Does it really works on fine line? Will have yo give it some more time and confirm. Overall a must try.
Tips: Pro Tip : Please check stores online for the cheapest price available as it differs in all the drugstores and if you are lucky would get it a $20 off aswell.
WOW okay I need to contain myself to stop making typos. So, I have rosacea right, and it sucks. Every new product I get has to be tested on my double chin first to make sure it doesn't burn. I would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS USE RETINOL but I thought why not give it a try. I was pretty darn nervous to tell you the truth. I watched lots of YT videos and reviews first to make sure my face wouldn't burn off leaving me looking like Freddy Kruger. Night number 1, I first put moisturizer on, then I put a recovery oil, THEN I put this olay retinol on...I wanted to have a big barrier between this stuff and my skin, just incase. Well it was fine and I just figured I may have been a bit OTT with the barrier. I waited a couple of nights as you shouldn't ever use retinol twice in a row for your first time. Night number 2... I just used moisturizer first and then the olay retinol. Again, no reaction. Woke up in the morning with the silkiest most lovely skin. Even went as far as wondering if my incurable rosacea was cured but no, alas, it did come back after cleansing. Well I was impressed and became a wee bit cocky. Only had waited one night before I did attempt number 3. This time, naked skin straight after cleansing. I started with a dot. Then after a few mins I dunked my whole face in it. YOLO. What happened...IS AMAZING! When I got into bed I told my partner to touch my face and he was just as shocked as me. I realized that this stuff could actually be helping the pustules (which is rosacea talk for acne). My skin was so smooth the texture is unlike I have had in years. Next morning I woke with no spots and relatively pale face compared to beetroot red. I have since been using this product every second night for almost 3 weeks and I HAVENT HAD A SINGLE PIMPLE! This could be just a coincidence however I haven't been pimple free since I was on Doxy which is an acne/rosacea antibiotic. I will absolutely continue using and buying this stuff. It must have just the right amount of retinol to be calming on sensitive skin. As you can tell, I'm very impressed and I would not spend this long writing a review on something that isn't worth it. OLAY, you nailed it.
Tips: DO NOT USE TWICE IN A ROW UNTIL A FEW WEEKS INTO IT JUST INCASE
I have suffered with acne for over 10 years now which has recently started to clear up. This means I've been left with post-acne scarring so I have been trialling retinol in the hopes of improving it.
I've tried retinol from the ordinary, quite liked the emulsion but hated the oil! I do not like oil on my face, so I was luckily selected for this trial team.
First off, the packaging is a bit excessive, the cardboard box is way too big for the actual pot. Aside from that, the product itself is a beautiful white cream that spreads super easily and leaves a velvety/silky finish. It says fragrance-free but there's definitely a whiff of something fruity, like berries or grape? But it shouldn't interact with those who are allergic to fragrance.
It's such a light texture and I find a little goes a long way. I've been using it every second-third night in the first week of the trial and now that my skin is more used to be I've been using it about 5 times a week.
I wake up with such soft, glowing, bright, plump skin! I can't tell if my scars have actually reduced much as I've only had about 2 weeks to test this but I love how good my skin looks in the morning. It's also well hydrated too. I used to have a couple dry patches around my face but they're all gone now.
I was worried about sensitivity but I needn't worry! My skin looks amazing and it's even kept my maskne at bay (I work in healthcare so wear a mask during the whole shift).
Would definitely repurchase - finally found a retinol texture I like!
Tips: SPF in the morning and throughout the day! If you're worried about sensitivity, use a light toner and light emulsion before using the retinol directly, then when your skin adapts you can use the retinol more frequently.
I have often-reactive skin that's also very dry, and this is a lovely night cream for me. (I already have retinol in my weekly routine, but other ingredients can easily trigger my sensitivity, and this cream doesn't cause me any issues at all.) The texture is really beautiful - it's rich and hydrating but with no oily, fatty sort of feel to it. It melts into my skin but leaves a satin-like finish that feels moisturising and comfortable. I apply it over a serum (also Olay, btw!) and wake up with calm, comfortable, hydrated skin. Love it.
Long-term, I think it's supporting and nourishing my skin. I'm not sure that it's noticeably smoothed out my wrinkles or faded my sun damage, but my skin does look happier and healthier and maybe even a little plumped with on-going use. That's a pretty great outcome from a cream, imho.
What I don't love is the jar. I know it's an iconic Olay thing, but I'd give it a whole extra star if it was in an hygienic and ingredient-protecting pump bottle.
Overall though, for me this is a lovely product packed with proven ingredients for improving skin texture, hydration and appearance - and without nasties like fragrance to mess with sensitive skin types. I'll happily buy it again and have already recommended it to someone.
Tips: For very dry skin, like mine, use it over the top of a good serum. For oilier skins, it's likely rich enough on its own.
