Lovely night moisturiser!! This cream is a good thickness, just right i found. Easy to apply, no fragrance. I put dots all around my face then rubbed it all in, at first it feels abit wet then after about 30 seconds my face is so soft and nice. It lasts all night as I can still feel it on my skin in the morning before I wash. I have used about 1/4 of the container in 3 weeks, so I think it will last a while, good value for the cost. Packaging is nice, very easy to read and understand how to use and what it does. After using it for 3 weeks I feel my skin is plumper and definitely more smoother and feels refreshed and hydrated in the morning, and have noticed my fine lines are bit less visible, hope it will do more after using it longer. Very happy with this product as I haven't used many products with retinol before.

Reviews
Tips: Try it , you won't be disappointed:)
This is such a gorgeous moisturiser.
Loved the packaging and the fact it has no added fragrance. The cream is nice and thick and feels expensive. It soaks in quickly in the evening before bed and does not leave my skin feeling oily.
I have been using it every second day so far and I love how plump and healthy it has been leaving my skin. So far I can’t tell if it’s improving my fine lines but I’m looking forward to continuing using this product.
I have used a retinol product once in the past, but once it ran out I didn’t end up repurchasing, so I haven’t used retinol in quite a long time. My main concern is skin texture, but also preventing fine lines etc. I used it every second night as suggested to avoid irritation. The pot is lovely and sleek, solid without being too heavy or clunky, and the actual texture of the cream is so luxe. Applying it felt great; it was so velvety and easy to spread over my face - it also sunk in nicely and didn’t leave any residue or tacky feeling. After the second application, I noticed I had dry patches, but I know skin can take some adjusting to retinol so I continued use, hoping to get used to the cream. After each night though, I got more dry patches, and then my skin started stinging. I wear SPF 50 during the day anyway like they recommend as retinol can make skin sensitive to the sun. I don’t usually have any skin sensitivities - I can use any product - but the dry patches and the stinging I experienced while using it, and the fact I saw no improvement in my skin texture, means I wouldn’t use it again.. I think if you had skin that you knew already tolerated retinol well, and were looking for a new product to try, then this could be a great addition to your routine - but personally it wasn’t for me.
This trial allowed me to use Retinol for the first time. I have psoriasis so followed the guidelines of testing before going into full use of this product. I definitely recommend doing this and luckily for me I did not have any issues.
I love the tub – A cute 50ml tub in a grey/silver mixed with a deep purple tone makes it look like a luxurious product. Once opened I was greeted with a semi whipped type cream that has a pleasant but light aroma. I applied this each night just before bed and after i had completed my normal skin routine. A little goes a long way with this. It has nice consistency and I found it easy to blend in on my face and neck.
I have been using the product for 1 and a half weeks and haven’t noticed any major changes in my skin in terms of fine lines reducing. I so badly wanted this product to work and have quick results as Olay is one brand that I do use for daily Moisturisers. I feel like I need to give this product a little more time before determining if it work especially with the price point being around the $50.00 mark.
Tips: As mentioned above, I do have sensitive skin. I noticed, upon waking up the next morning, dryness around my nose/nostril area. I addressed this by doubling the amount used around this area - this seemed to work.
This cream has a very smooth consistency with no fragrance. I tested it first on the bottom of my check to see how my skin would react and it was fine, so I then applied it to my entire face and neck. It left my face feeling smooth, but the cream didn't seem to soak into my skin, just sat on top. I have used a few times now and have noticed a more even skin tone which i like. I would have to continue using to notice any more changes like fine lines, dry skin etc. I highly recommend you use this cream at night only due to the sun during the day.
Tips: Night cream only and definitely do a test patch first.
I've really enjoyed using this product.
Each evening I applied a small amount to my face and neck, avoiding the eye area. It's 100% fragrance free, very light weight, absorbed quickly and felt silky smooth.
First morning after using this product I noticed my skin was clearer and brighter looking. After a few days of using, fine bumps on my face had improved and smoothed out. My skin looked fresher and it helped even out my skin tone.
Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser come in a generous 50g pottle, that is sure to last as only a small amount is needed each time its used.
It's definitely a product I'm happy to continue using and it's ready available, at an awesome price of under $50.00, so definitely within my budget.
Tips: Avoid eye area
I have suffered with acne for over 10 years now which has recently started to clear up. This means I've been left with post-acne scarring so I have been trialling retinol in the hopes of improving it.
I've tried retinol from the ordinary, quite liked the emulsion but hated the oil! I do not like oil on my face, so I was luckily selected for this trial team.
First off, the packaging is a bit excessive, the cardboard box is way too big for the actual pot. Aside from that, the product itself is a beautiful white cream that spreads super easily and leaves a velvety/silky finish. It says fragrance-free but there's definitely a whiff of something fruity, like berries or grape? But it shouldn't interact with those who are allergic to fragrance.
It's such a light texture and I find a little goes a long way. I've been using it every second-third night in the first week of the trial and now that my skin is more used to be I've been using it about 5 times a week.
I wake up with such soft, glowing, bright, plump skin! I can't tell if my scars have actually reduced much as I've only had about 2 weeks to test this but I love how good my skin looks in the morning. It's also well hydrated too. I used to have a couple dry patches around my face but they're all gone now.
I was worried about sensitivity but I needn't worry! My skin looks amazing and it's even kept my maskne at bay (I work in healthcare so wear a mask during the whole shift).
Would definitely repurchase - finally found a retinol texture I like!
Tips: SPF in the morning and throughout the day! If you're worried about sensitivity, use a light toner and light emulsion before using the retinol directly, then when your skin adapts you can use the retinol more frequently.
I was really excited to try this product, I have been using retinol for a while now, and was looking to switch to a product that also moisturized and had a bit more of a blend of ingredients.
So, I was a bit disappointed when I got the box and read the ingredients. My first issue was the fact the retinol percentage is not listed, so it's impossible to know what the strength is. It also lists other forms of retinol that don't work the same as actual retinol, making me wonder how much is actually in there, or if it's primarily made up of other retinoids. Second, it's in a screw-top jar. Repeated exposure to light and air does degrade products, so I would be concerned about that also, but it's actually just not a great design and I feel like it gets the jar messy quickly.
As far as the actual product goes, it's okay, but not great. The best part is definitely the moisturizing quality of it, as it is nice and silky on the skin not heavy at all. The product did make my skin seem quite congested in areas, so I was not able to use it anywhere other than my neck, forehead, chest and hands after trying the whole face. While the moisturizer works well, I really didn't see any other benefits from the product, and if anything, it made my skin appear worse in general, considering the congestion.
However, I do think this is a good starter product, for someone who has never used retinol and wants to really ease into it. But, if you want something strong, this likely won't cut it. I will continue using it, but only on the backs of my hands and neck, but I certainly wouldn't purchase more. For the price point and ingredients, I think this product missed the mark.
Tips: This would be more suited to a retinol beginner, as a hand cream, or something who wants a basic starter product that both moisturizers and introduces small amounts of retinol to a skincare regime.
I actually really enjoyed this night moisturizer. I often find that creams for use in the evening leave me with oily residues when I wake up the next day. With this moisturizer I actually forgot I'd even put it on the night before, it was only when I washed my face and realised how soft and supple my skin felt that I remembered! I'd definitely use it again, it was a lovely surprise.
As a subjective review I think that the fine lines on my forehead have started to soften and look less obvious, even bigger plus.
Tips: You don't need to out a huge amount on, it rubs in really well and the fragrance wasn't too overwhelming (big bonus when you're about to go to bed).
I was excited to try this as I am in my 30's now and have begun an anti-ageing skincare routine. I have already been using a Retinol serum for over a year so I already had a tolerance and could dive right into using this night cream.
I kept the rest of my skincare super simple while trialing this so I could really gauge its effectiveness. I stopped using my Retinol serum and just paired this with a simple cleanser in the evening to avoid any irritations.
This product comes in really nice packaging. A purple tub with a silver lid. While I don't think its glass (more of a thick plastic), its very sturdy so wont break when travelling.
As a dry skin gal, I usually go for a super rich, heavy night cream that leaves my skin feeling wet. The finish with this cream is different, unlike any I've used. It dries down really quick and leaves an almost powdery finish on the skin. It still feels very hydrating and my skin doesn't feel tight in the morning.
I've been using this cream now for just shy of three weeks and have noticed a reduction in my problem areas (smile lines around the mouth and under my eyes). My skin also has a noticeable increase in smoothness. I will keep using this until it is finished and provide any updates.
Tips: Retinol can make your skin sensitive to the sun so only use it in the evening, and make sure you wear an SPF daily.
