This cream is rich and hydrating without leaving that heavy feeling on my skin. It provides an adequate amount of moisture and leaves the skin feeling soft and looking luminous all day. As with SPF, it's important to reapply during the day. I found I was able to apply further layers without it pilling or weighing down my skin.

Tips: This cream is heavily fragranced and has the classic "olay" scent, it doesn't bother me as once the product is applied I don't notice it after a few minutes. It does claim to be a Matte finish, however on my oily skin it does not give a Matte finish, more of a slight glow. It also doesn't accentuate my oils during the day so I would recommend for combo/oily skin too.
I love the texture of this moisturiser, it's super light and airy, and absorbs quickly into a matte finish. My skin feels super soft and smooth after using it. It has a nice, light fragrance that isn't too strong and doesn't linger. I also like that it's spf 30, and not just spf 15 like a lot of moisturisers are. I can't attest to if it does what it says it does as I haven't been using for it long enough. No complaints from me about this product, I'd definitely buy it again!
This product is wonderful. I work outside and although I have to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, it works well for my mornings. The soft buttery texture is wonderful in the skin and it makes my skin soft and supple. It smells lovely and I have even got my Mum onto buying it just by trying it for a couple days with me.
I have been a long time user of the original Olay moisturiser. I was hesitant with this one because moisturisers with SPF included usually break me out, or leave a white cast and horrible greasy feeling. I'm so happy to report that the texture of this is so luxurious but light (actually like whipped cream!). There was no greasy feeling afterwards and it leaves my skin nice and soft. It has been a godsend for my usually oily forehead and dry flaky chin. No flakes at all, and it's kept my oil under control all day.
Tips: If you have a spatula, use this to scoop out the product to prevent any bacteria getting into the product from dipping fingers.
When you open the box you find their standard pretty red container with silver lid which is pretty combination.
The thick white cream goes a long way and. it doesn’t have a nasty smell it goes on easily and doesn’t feel greasy or look shiny like other products.
I’m finding it fanatic and haven’t had any issues using it and no sunburn while enjoying the sunshine lately my skin feels great and looking forward to give it a real test to summer.
This moisturiser is so good. My skin feels really hydrated and plump without feeling greasy. It really does work well under makeup which is an added bonus. My husband actually really liked how my skin looked using this, he has claimed it for himself! Which considering getting him to use a basic skincare routine has been a battle says a lot about this product. The added benefit of SPF is great, unlike other SPF moisturisers this does not leave any white cast or film on the skin. It completely sinks in.
I was really excited to try this moisturiser as it has such high SPF protection!
The tub is an attractive red with a silver lid and the moisturiser has a nice fragrance, but the absolute magic is the texture of this cream! It is like velvet that melts into your skin so easily.
You don't need a lot and it leaves your skin feeling so smooth and luxurious. It also acts as a very good primer as my foundation is easier to apply and looks and feels better too.
I have only been using this product for 3 weeks so haven't seen a huge difference in plumping or fine lines being reduced, but have noticed my skin is softer and does feel smoother.
Tips: Throw away your primer... this moisturiser does that job too!
I was super excited to give this Olay Whip a go. And I love a moisturiser with a good spf rating! What I wasn't expecting was the fragrance. A lot stronger than any other moisturiser I've used before. It took a few days to get used to the scent. I wouldn't say it was over powering, but for me it was a bit of a turn off. Unfortunately in the first few days of using it, my skin broke out. My face, neck and decolletage. Everywhere I had been applying the moisturiser. I haven't used Olay before, so I put it down to my skin adjusting to an unfamiliar product. I ended up dialing back the amount I was using (I normally use a gel moisturiser) and that made all the difference. I have normal skin (oily forehead occasionally) and I may have just been a bit heavy handed. I ended up using about a pea sized amount and that covered everywhere I needed it to. I absolutely loved the Whipped formula though, it felt so soft and light (once I'd adjusted the amount) on my skin. And surprisingly it did give my skin a matte finish, even after long days. I didn't however notice my skin being 'firmer' after 2weeks as the packaging claimed, which may be down to me using less of the product than others. Would I re-purchase? Maybe, but only if I start to notice more positive results.
First impression is that pot is nice looking and easy to open. The product has a light, fluffy texture, as expected. It has a really nice, sweet scent as well.
My skin type is dry so I use moisturizer every morning and this product did a great job at hydrating my skin, no dry patches. It feels silky and smooth, absorbs quickly and a little goes a long way.
I love that it contains SPF, that's always a bonus, especially since I burn easily. With summer coming up that's only becoming more important.
Overall I'm happy with the product and recommend it. Olay has never disappointed me with their face products. While it's pricier than other day creams with SPF, I think the extra expense isn't unjustified.
I managed to get a spot on the trial team for a tub of Olay Regenerist Whip UV, and was keen to compare it to the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream that I've used previously.
The Whip UV Cream is packaged in a 50g red pot with a silver screw top lid, and the thick white cream inside has an almost floral perfumed scent, which is not unpleasant, and the cream spreads well and is easily absorbed, so not a lot is needed.
I used a small pea sized amount, the perfect size for my oily skin, and then gently massaged it in an upward circular motion over my neck and face. One thing I did discover is that it's important not to massage this cream for too long, as it does start to 'pill' or form little balls if its massaged onto the skin for too long. Only massage the skin for as long as it takes to gently spread the cream around evenly and then let the cream sink in.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of tub or pot packaging, I really liked this moisturiser. It does help to control shine, and they weren't lying about the 'light as air' finish either. Once the cream as been applied, my skin feels soft and smooth, with an almost light matte satin feel to it, and there's absolutely no greasiness. The added anti-aging broad spectrum SPF30 is a wonderful bonus. I love moisturisers that contain SPF and are non-greasy.
Overall, my skin looks and feels great after using this moisturiser during the trial time. It feels more hydrated and therefore looks plumper or firmer. I'd have to give it a few more weeks to see if I begin noticing any difference to the fine lines around my eyes and mouth.
Tips: Comparing Olay Whip UV cream to Olay Micro-Sculpting Cream: - they're both packaged in the same tub (just the name is different), - they have very similar scents, - they both 'pill' or form little balls if massaged into the skin for too long, - they both contain Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Amino Peptides, Carob Fruit Extract and Hyaluronic Acid, - Whip UV contains SPF30, while Micro-sculpting cream in the same jar does not contain any SPF protection (Olay does have a micro-sculpting cream with SPF, it comes in a pump tube, but I haven't used that one).
