I got this product from the rewards vault. It really is a "whipped" moisturiser - it is so light and airy and really lovely to put on. The fragrance is soft and not overpowering, and a little goes a long way. I didnt really notice major difference in my skin, but I loved the feel of it and really loved that it had a good SPF factor - a must for my regime now. I would definitely buy it again.

Reviews
I was excited to try the Olay Regenerist Whip UV SPF 30. Its been quite a few years since I've used a olay product. The packaging is nice, box & jar are recyclable & the the red & silver jar like nice. The inner tab has a little handle to pick off lid, which is handy. The cream is very light- whipped, it has a very light fresh fragrance. It absorbs so easily into my skin with a non greasy finish like alot of other spf moisturizers. I probably used a little more than I would a heavier cream as it absorbs so quickly. My skin has enjoyed this & now wapnt to get the rest of the range to try. Price wise its very affordable. Great on sensitive skin even with 10 hours wearing a mask everyday.
Tips: Try not to use to much.
I have really enjoyed getting to trial this product. Usually when I look into SPF creams I wouldn't go below a 30 rating, so was please to see that! As stated it is a lightweight moisturiser with a matte finish. This was great, I felt that my makeup didn't move much having it underneath which is a must for me! I did notice that the smell is really strong! Usually I am not a fan of fragrance in products, so could have done with out this. But the smell soon fades when wearing. I am yet to see my skin "transform" from this cream, but really I don't think that this would be used instead of a full skincare system, more of an additional product to protect from UV rays. All in all for the price I think this is a fair product.
Tips: Give the moisturiser a minute to set before adding foundation on top. Allowing it to go matte first makes for a better finish overall.
Oh how I love receiving things to trial from Beauty Review, unwrapping the courier package like it's a birthday present lol. Spying the packaging I thought It looked impressively big but then the product was much smaller inside, a good thing to see the box is recyclable. Other than the packaging being a little excessive it looked very much in keeping with the other Regenerist products. I liked the SPF 30 claim as I am terrible at putting sunscreen on unless it's a very sunny day so anything that does double duty and looks after my skin is a bonus. However, the warning on the side of box says to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun....I was unsure whether that was an overall health suggestion or whether something happens to the product if exposed to the sun. The moisturiser has quite a strong but pleasant scent, I thought it smelled like 'fresh linen'. The product says "whip" and "light as air" on the front which I assumed would mean the cream itself would feel light and airy like a whip but it felt thick and creamy. The description is more apt for how it feels after it has been applied. It's easily absorbed to the skin and leaves skin with a fine velvety feel. It definitely has a matte finish and controls the shine but I almost found it too matte for me. I only wore it under makeup a couple of times but I feel you could definitely use this as a moisturiser and primer in one. The velvety texture seemed to really grip make-up and keep it in place all day. I don't think I trialled this product long enough to comment on their claims of firmer and more elastic skin or reduced lines and wrinkles and didn't notice any improvement in these areas. Overall this is a pleasant product but not 'the one' for me.
Tips: This would be a great product for someone wearing a full face of makeup and wanting a good primed base but maybe try something else if you're looking for a dewy look.
I was super excited to give this Olay Whip a go. And I love a moisturiser with a good spf rating! What I wasn't expecting was the fragrance. A lot stronger than any other moisturiser I've used before. It took a few days to get used to the scent. I wouldn't say it was over powering, but for me it was a bit of a turn off. Unfortunately in the first few days of using it, my skin broke out. My face, neck and decolletage. Everywhere I had been applying the moisturiser. I haven't used Olay before, so I put it down to my skin adjusting to an unfamiliar product. I ended up dialing back the amount I was using (I normally use a gel moisturiser) and that made all the difference. I have normal skin (oily forehead occasionally) and I may have just been a bit heavy handed. I ended up using about a pea sized amount and that covered everywhere I needed it to. I absolutely loved the Whipped formula though, it felt so soft and light (once I'd adjusted the amount) on my skin. And surprisingly it did give my skin a matte finish, even after long days. I didn't however notice my skin being 'firmer' after 2weeks as the packaging claimed, which may be down to me using less of the product than others. Would I re-purchase? Maybe, but only if I start to notice more positive results.
On opening the shiny red. Black a d silver box,the silver typed red jar sits between cardboard smartly folded to hold it in place. The red jar has a 'whipped' pattern seen through the red translucent plastic. A beautiful subtle floral scent escapes the red jar on twisting off the silver lid and removing the white plastic seal. Over time this scent becomes more subtle. On application the whip is readily absorbed and does leave a matt, non-sticky finish, as advertised. My skin definitely appeared plum, lifted and glowing with the Hydraulic acid playing its part. The first few days I looked like a freaking Goddess!
Then my skin got thirsty...
I normally use single ingredient/ purpose products so having a number of those in one has been a great change! One of my main skin concerns are breakouts. I use B3 + Zinc to address this. I did find my skin needed an extra boost after 3 days without my usual product, so I used my usual B3 + Zinc every couple of days following. I also found the whip didn't meet my skins moisture needs over the past 2 weeks. By the second week I was using about double the amount of product I used to begin with. I've been using Olay's whip on my entire face and neck. The jar us now about 1/2 full afterc2 weeks of use.
I love that the whip combines a number of products I use daily, in 1 convenient product at an affordable price. Especially the inclusion of SPF and B3.
I'd look to use Olay's whip when traveling for convenience but would look to use my usual products otherwise given the amount of whip I need to meet my skins needs.
Tips: If you have any major skin concerns and have a product with a single ingredient that addresses this it is worth applying this a few times a week underneath Olay's whip.
First glance, it looks nice. The box is bright red. And it is bigger than expected. But when you open the box, product is a lot smaller. There is a lot of empty space. A lot of people would go for it because they thought it was bigger. Trying the cream, first scoop was ok, but as soon as your fingertips warmed from putting on your face. The next scoop was like melted cream so you had to dig in more. It made my skin soft, the smell was not too over powering. But I didn't notice any plumping of the skin, or any change in wrinkles, but I think it needs more time than 3 weeks to show a difference there. So I will persevere with the rest of it. I would buy again because of how soft it makes your skin
Tips: Dig in on second scoop as cream melts on fingertips
The packaging lives up to most premium skincare products in terms of quality. I did struggle to get into the pot initially because it had been slightly damaged in transit, but once I was in it was fine.
The first thing I noticed was the smell. It's very strong. I normally prefer less perfumed lotions so this was one thing that initially put me off. It's not that it smells bad - far from it. It's just very potent.
The cream/whip itself is pretty thick. But having said that it is absorbed quickly (or maybe that's just my skin in need of hydration!). It doesn't go as far as other creams I've used/tried but it's not like you're emptying half the pot for one application. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave any trail.
My skin definitely looked and felt good using this consistently. I have a pretty basic skincare routine and don't get as much sleep as I should so my skin often suffers. Trialling this cream made me much more dilligent about applying it in the early morning (I get up around 5 most days).
I didn't have any oily bouts while using this product, but I did get dry from time-to-time. I put this down to having to wear a mask all day now though.
If it wasn't for the small I'm sure I'd love this product!
The consistency of the product is very thick almost too thick for my liking I felt like I needed to use a lot more product to cover my face than usual. Application was easy but I needed to work it into my face in sections for even application. The fragrance of the product was so strong it smelt like supermarket shampoo I'm more into using product with no fragrance due to my sensitive skin. Coverage was average as the cream is very thick I needed to use a lot of the product to ensure I had full coverage of my face. I do feel it sits well under makeup and is non greasy. Longevity was a little disappointed as my skin looked dry after using the product once I applied foundation I had patches of dry skin show also wearing this and spf foundation I still ended up with some sun damage to my face within 20 minutes of being out in the sun. Useage is alright there is a lot of cream in the packaging so it can last awhile depending on the user it comes in a 50g package. The price is a little more than I would like to spend for a drug store brand although olay is a well known brand I would rather pay a little more for a top of the line product. The packaging is a bright red with silver lid jar it's is alright to look at removal of the cover was near impossible I needed to use a knife to remove the white cap under the lid. Results within the trial period I did not notice any results from using this product plumper and more radiant skin after the first use? No I did not see this change unfortunately. Would I recommend this product in future? Sorry it wasn't for me I was hoping I would love it and to find a moisturiser that works for my skin type I'm still left with dull looking skin. It's worth giving it ago as everyone has different skin types and it may just work better for you.
I really liked this, it goes on smooth and easily to apply. Doesn’t leave your skin feeling heavy or greasy however I found that my skin felt a bit dry. I will try this for a bit longer to see how it goes.
