ooooh, this smells devine!!! Its one of the few shower gels that actually last once I get out of the shower! It can make my skin a little dry but I combat this by applying coconut oil on afterwards. I don't quite understand the name of the product because I don't feel stress free afterwards. It lathers up nicely and if you use a loofah, you tend not to need to much product. I like the packaging and the purple is just too gorgeous! It makes a nice gift when added to a gift pack (which I have done for a friend who likes all things purple!).

Reviews
Palmolive is one of those trusty brands you can find from any supermarket or chain stores. I remember watching the commercials growing up for their bars of soap. Most commonly used brand in my household from liquid detergents through to bodywashes.
The bottle is a purple plastic bottle. When I first saw it without reading it I assumed it was lavender. Only to be surprised once using it that its ylang ylang and Iris. Easy to open up and disperse the liquid.
Its like a purple gel. It smells like a vanilla floral boquet. A smooth soft fragrance thats not over powering. It lathers really well on my skin. It foams up well with my body puff. I tried using it with just my hand and it just slid straight out of my hand straight on to the shower floor like jelly. Tried many times doing it get the same thing happen.
My results were clean smelling skin. Soft smooth feeling skin. Definately a good staple item in your groceries for the family. Didn't notice any changes in my stress at all with use. Had my showers at night to test the feeling of relaxation but didn't notice anything. Did love the sweet sutle smell.
a sensual smelling gel I think they could package this a little better though as the way the product comes out you can actually use a bit too much by mistake. Its nice to use before bed time but I take care not to use too much or I can strip my skin as this product is not hydrating. I use when stressed to de-stress so I guess it can sort of help with the aromas and essential oils also the purple colour is calming healing and makes you feel some what luxurious. I like to buy on special for 500ml its not too bad value wise. I do not really think it made my skin very much softer though as it seems a little drying but its not a bad product
This shower gel brings back memories it was my more expensive shower gel on my teen budget that I used whenever I wanted to smell extra nice. So before any party or going out or on vacation this was the shower gel I brought along. The scent is gorgeous, sensual and relaxing I have to give Palmolive an A+ for this scent. This shower gel lathers up really well on a shower puff and the bottle is big lasts for a long time and is cheap. It’s a bit of affordable therapeutic shower aromatherapy, very relaxing. Unfortunately, if you have dry or sensitive skin like me it’s too drying. I never made the connection as a teenager, but I used to have really dry and itchy skin that needed a ton of body lotion. When I switched to using this occasionally and started using a more moisturizing body wash (Dove) I somehow had softer and less dry skin. Still the love for this scent didn’t vanish so I persevered. About a month I found large bottle of this in the shower, the scent was as amazing as I remembered but hello dry skin and itchy red patches. I wish I could find this scent in a more moisturizing and sulfate-free body wash because that would be a winner for me, also a body lotion designed for dry and sensitive skin, yes that would be my daily dose of de-stressing in the shower.
Tips: If you don't have dry or sensitive skin and don't mind sulfates this is fantastic body wash that smells like luxury at an affordable price. If you use it with a shower puff it's less drying but if you lather the gel with your hands and apply it you get more of the scent on your skin after your shower. If you have sensitive skin or dry skin I wouldn't recommend using this as a daily bodywash, maybe occasionally and follow up with an ultra moisturizing body cream or butter or oil.
I am not an overly stressed out person, unless of course my mother in law and I have been chatting. I purchased this mainly because it was on special and I liked the smell compared to the others, and I hadn't tried this.
I like the color purple, and this purple gel is no exception. It is super easy to get out of the bottle, and put back in if you took too much out. It lathers really well (how cool would it be if the bubbles were purple too?) and I find it lathers best with a loofah or exfoliating gloves. It rinses off really well and doesn't leave a dry feeling you can sometimes get with soaps. In fact, my skin felt silky smooth!
The smell definitely lives up to it's given name of aromatherapy! The scent lingers for ages and it makes the bathroom smell absolutely amazing. I can't comment on it's stress relieving properties but it does smell nice, and I really enjoyed using it. I would purchase this again just for the smell and color, rather than what it claims to do!
A warm relaxing shower is extremely important to help me unwind and wash off a hard day at work or just a day in general. Theres nothing more satifying than standing under warm water running down yur body and the smell of floral aromas around the shower.
This shower gel is thick and smells amazing with lots of floral fragrances presents. I only need a small amount of this gel on a sponge and the foaming action is almost immediate. It feels gentle and soft on the skin whilst showering but even more amazing when get out of the shower.
My skin is left soft and rejuvenated so I dont even need to apply lotion to my skin which is especially helpful during winter when I just want to jump into my pjs as fast as I can.
Its a reasonable price for $500ml and between myself and my husband it lasts us a good month which a personally thick is excellent value for money.
Tips: Use with a sponge and you'll only need a few small drops to lather your entire body.
While my boyfriend loves this I on the other hand am not a fan of this. It seems that everytime I use this I get quite itchy and sometimes alittle rashy on my legs which is odd. The smell is quite intense (lavender) which I don't mind and the purple gel is quite neat in appearance but It just doesn't agree with my skin
Tips: Perhaps do a little test on the skin before showering, incase you get itchy too
This product has a strong floral lavender smell that fills the shower and bathroom. I am not really a fan of lavender and his scent was a bit too strong for me. This soap has a thick gel jelly like texture that is a clear deep purple colour. I squeeze out a generous dollop onto a loofah which is enough to use on my whole body. I would recommend using a loofah as it lathers the product more easily and creates more volume to spread over your body.
I have sensitive skin and didn't have any reactions to this soap. This soap also didn't dry out my skin or leave it itchy. I didn't find that this soap relieved my stress or relaxed me, but it does leave my skin quite soft. This soap comes in an oval type shape with a flat bottom so that it stand ups. The lid flicks up and shuts tight so there is no leakage, although I did find that with slippery hands it can be hard to open. The bottle is easy to squeeze and distribute product.
This soap lasted me about three to fourth months, using it most nights. I would say that the price is really reasonable for the size of the bottle. I also like that you can pick it up at the supermarket.
Overall, I did like this product but felt there was nothing special about it. I didn't find that there was any difference to using any other ordinary body wash. The soap itself is fine, but because I am not a fan of lavender I don't think I would purchase this specific scent again but I would buy a different scent.
I love lavender and usually stronger the better but this shower gel is just to over powering. Great size 500ml bottle lasts a long time. as its a thick jellish type gel in a cute purple colour. I generally use just a small amount on a bath scrub, it lathers easily. I also enjoyed the slick purple packaging. While i did enjoy the product but after a few uses, my skin felt quite dry and it gave me a red rash, which was disappointing as I was over all enjoying it. overall did the job was clean after using it but wouldn't purchase again
Tips: a little goes a long way
This gel/wash is ok. The smell however is not my favourite it reminds me of a combination of toilet detergent and laundry detergent. The feel is nice and it suds up good enough on the skin. Leaving you feeling clean. The anti stress theory would be attributed to the lavender ingredients however the lavender is more synthetic then natural smelling. I really don't believe it works my stress for me although lavender has a soothing effect on the skin to a point. I use to use this religiously believing in the benefits of but now if I can choose from others in the Palmolive range I will and this is my last resort. The size is good though and can last a month in my household 3 kids and myself which is a gold sign if value for your money. Main use for not being my favourite is the smell.
