Palmolive Strawberry Smoother Body Butter Body Wash

When I received the Palmolive Body Butter Body Wash (Strawberry Smoother) I immediately opened the lid and smelled the strawberry aroma. Then I tried a little on the back of my hand to feel the texture of the seeds on my skin. Mmm – this would be lovely. I’ve used it now for a about a week – at least once a day and sometimes twice a day. I really like the Strawberry Smoother but I’m totally going to contradict myself a lot and use the ‘but’ word.

The first time I used the Strawberry Smoother I loved the whole package: the smell, the exfoliating seeds, the smooth soapiness and the overall result on my skin, but (and here’s the contradiction) I don’t like the seeds because it feels like ‘crumbs in the bed’ or ‘sand in your shoes’, plus the seeds get stuck under my nails. Yes I know you wash the seeds off, but it’s something I will eventually get used to. The strawberry smell was lovely at first, but now I’m ‘over’ that particular smell. Don’t get me wrong, I love strawberries, but I don’t want to smell it every day. See, I’m full of contradictions...

But in saying all of that, I do feel a difference. My skin is lovely and soft and with the creamy soap, it feels like heaven. Would I buy it again? Yes, if it were a coconut flavour with bits of coconut… 

I have used this before,and i love it. Its a good price, smells lovely,and its cool how it exfoliates your skin. I wouldnt use it every day however.

I like Pamolive products and have a few in my stash. However this product just wasn't for me. The smell I found to be really off putting - I felt like I was washing myself with a fruit smoothie drink and it make me feel slightly unwell. Other than that, my skin felt soft and hydrated

mmm love the smell of this body wash I did love the seeds at first but after a few washes I was over the gritty sand like texture,but the seeds do do a great job at exfoliating.Also love how thick it is,so a little bit does go a long way.Would buy if I found it on special as it's nice to have something that smells so lovely that the hubby won't pinch.

I really love this body wash! The smell is AMAZING and it lathers up well and makes you smell gorgeous afterwards. The only downside for me is that it is quite thick in consistency and once you get about half way through the bottle it takes a bit of squeezing to get the body wash out. But apart from that it is a great body wash I would keep buying!

I feel clean after using this, wouldn't use it every day but a couple times a week is great for this product

A great, supermarket branded body exfoliant. Offers a beautiful fruity creamy scent and makes your body really smooth AND soft. Not drying at all!!

I found this to be quite good. It made my skin feel really smooth and soft and it also smelt really nice. It also hydrated my skin really well.

I love this shower gel as it has a gorgeous scent I love any berry smell. It also leaves your skin feeling revitalised and moisturised.

Not the most descriptive review title, perhaps, but it basically sums up how I feel about this body wash. I don't dislike it, and I think it's good, but it hasn't wowed me in any way particularly.

It's not drying like some washes, so I feel like the whole 'body butter' claim is fairy legitimate, and therefore it works well for shaving legs, etc.

The only thing I'm not really that keen on is the scent: I find it a bit sickly sweet/artificial for my personal preference. It actually reminds me a bit of TBS strawberry body butter scent (I'm not a huge fan of that either), so whether or not you like that one might affect whether you like this or not.

Yup. I don't really have much else to say. I'd recommend it to others, just be aware that the scent may not be as 'natural' as some might like. :)
