So, a family friend had come back from Fiji with a few odds and ends as gifts, some being the pure Fiji lotions. Unbeknownst to me, Pure Fiji was very popular with the girls at my school and not thinking much of the lotion, I took it to school as just a random hand cream. When pulling it out and using it many of the girls began to comment on the smell and asked to use it.
After that application, it was then I realised why the cream was so popular. For starters, the fragrance is very soft and natural. It smells delicious but not too chemically and fake. Secondly, it's a very light and quick absorbing lotion. It goes straight into the skin without leaving the tacky, sticky feel that some regular moisturizers can leave. Lastly, the hydration of the lotion was impeccable and left my skin hydrated through the day, whilst at school and in the all kinds of strange auckland weather.
I'm always so tempted to go to Fiji just to buy Pure Fiji body products at the source. They are all so decadent, and the Guava is a deliciously sweet variant of the range.
The body mist in particular differs from the 'norm' for what we think a hydrating product 'should' look like. It comes in a cute, girly pink and white labelled spray bottle - which messages ahead to expect sweet, light and perfumed.
The mist is a clear liquid, which is where the surprise comes in. It looks like a perfume, but it sprays on, soaks in and leaves behind soft, hydrated, fragranced skin that feels and smells like you've been bathing in flower petals. It's not overpowering - but it is on the stronger side of scent. If you're as in love with the scent as I am this is NO issue... gorgeous. I am sold; what an innovative, effective product <3
Tips: I picked up a giftset with 4 products (3 from this range, and a lipbalm) for just $20 at Xmas - insanely cheap for this range. Keep an eye on stockists for specials, and jump on them.
