I was so excited to try this out as a self tanning beginner there are so many types of tanners to choose from but spray can applications interested me the most as they seem simple.
This one was simple to use. The only problem was that it was super messy and if you don't exfoliate your knees or elbows well enough then it looks so patchy and rough after putting the tan on.
I would give this another go, its easy, fast and simple. Just make sure you exfoliate properly
Have started to re-use this product and carry one around with me when getting ready with others for events.
A great instant tanning product if you either don't want to wait for a tan to process or even for quick touch ups if it has a similar base to the other tanning product you've already used.
Sprays evenly on the skin but doesn't last as long as a normal spray/foam tanning product. Washes off easily in your next shower so great for short term use.
Tips: Can get a little messy so either apply outside or put a bath matte/towel down to stand on so it's easy to just put in the wash.
This is a great wee quick spray tan. I had a wedding to go to and no time to get a normal spray tan and it was just the end of winter so my legs were in much need of some colour. This stuff sprayed on well and gave you a nice natural tan without it being overbearing and dried very fast. Would use again
Tips: I would reccomend you get a helping hand and also do it somewhere where it doesn't matter if some gets on the ground and easy to wipe up.
This product truly does 'airbrush' my legs. I fake tan my neck, arms and stomach weekly but I skip out my legs as it just never applies well. 99% of the time this doesn't matter as my legs are covered at work but when I do decide to go out without my legs uncovered I am faced with a nicely tanned upper half paired with ghostly white legs. The Sally Hansen Airbrush legs takes them from white to deeply and evenly tanned in a matter of minutes. They appear airbrushed and thinner which is absolutely perfect. I use the medium shade to match my fake tan which I love but this wouldn't look overly natural if that is what you are wanting to achieve.
The downside to this product is it's tendency to transfer onto clothing, seats etc. It might be water resistant but you will leave behind a lovely little 'foundation' looking imprint if you sit down in a car or at a cafe for too long. I am always careful to wear something that will cover underneath me when I'm sitting down.
I actually prefer this product on its second day. I will apply it day one and then shower that night or the next morning without using body wash or scrubbing my legs. The top layer of product washes of leaving behind a more natural looking tan that doesn't transfer like the first day tan.
This product will put an amazing touch on a day at the races or a night out, as it makes you feel thin and airbrushed.
Tips: - Moisturising beforehand is super important with this product as it ensures an even, easy application.
- Apply this product outside. I spray it into my palms and then smooth it over my legs.
Although I do not use this product often when I have used it I was very impressed with the coloring and the covering.
I have had tiny lil veins on my legs my entire life and a few imperfections I like to hide when I show off my legs.. Although I generally find I am more of a fan of fake tan to give me a bit more confidence on showing some skin.. This product is really good if you have some things you really would like to hide.
Its almost like a body 'foundation' it goes on giving full color and pretty much full coverage.. You can build up a bit more if you would like more coverage..
I feel its quite cakey looking though and looks pretty obvious on the legs.. Its basically like spraying on stockings.
It wont streak, it wont patch generally but if you get caught near rain or what have you.. It will wash off!
I spray this wonderful formula on my pasty legs before a night out and love how even and tan my legs look. It stays put all night but does rub off on light clothing so great with a little black dress. I also found that it is most certainly not waterproof after spending a night looking like a dalmatian after getting caught in some rain between the car and bar.
Tips: Avoid contact with light clothing and rain!
I have heard so many things about this product so I had to give it a go myself.
The firsr thing to note is that Sally Hansen pitches this product as leg make up as oppose to a fake tan. And I think the reason for this is that it comes off in the shower just like your make up would. Whereas while some of your fake tan will was off in the shower alot still remains.
Sally Hansen's airbrushed legs is easy to apply and does give flawless legs. I loved the finish I got from this and I really wish it lasted longer.
For me I'd use this product more for special events because I don't have the time to apply it every day. But if it weren't for the time involved it would be my go to product.
This is like a full coverage foundation but for your legs. It covers imperfections and legs look flawless. But im not really a fan of having that tanned stockings look and wouldn't wear this all the time, maybe on special occasion. It is water resistant. I like that it does what it says though.
Amazing product. Have used it to go out afew times during the summer and it does not run of stain your legs. Perfect for wearing sunner dresses and adding the finishing touch with perfect natural looking airbrushed legs Made my legs looked healthier as I have alot of seen veins. You just cant go wrong with this product. I love it
