Scully's Glycerine Soap Review

Ok this has to be my absolute favourite soap, scullys is the best when it comes to anything skin!!! The soap smells so so good and feels even better on your skin. Try to keep it as dry as possible to make sure you get the most out of the block. This is one I use all the time but I always try hard to dry it out as much as I can. I love lavender and the smell is wonderful especially to use as a calm relaxing wash before bed or at anytime

I bought the Bulgarian Rose Soap because I am not a huge lavender fan but I do like some rosey scents and wanted a rose scented soap to use with a rose scented body lotion I had while I was in my matchy, matchy phase with body care. Now I do find most soaps irritate my skin, if I shower and wash my body and leave me with red blotches if I use them more than maybe once or twice a week in place of my three ingredient olive oil soap. This however is gentle enough for me to use more often than that. It has a beautiful rose scent from the rose oil, not an outdated rose scent that you would find at your nanna's house. The ingredients are sodium palmate, sodium cocoate, glycerine, water, rose oil, sodium chloride, coconut strands, sodium etidronate, tetrasodium EDTA, food red, food blue, acid yellow. So no added fragrance except for the rose oil. It also doesn't have any SLS but it lathers up really well. The coconut strands in the bar give it a nice touch, doesn't do anything other than make it look nice though. So in addition to being luxurious and gentle the thing that I really like about this is that after I wash my hands and I really notice this after washing my hands multiple times, after I rinse my hands I have a very thin layer of moisture on my skin. I have very dry, eczema prone hands so I really like that feel. Now if apply hand cream within a couple minutes of washing I can trap that layer of moisture and improve my skin over time. As for the scent goes it does leave a extremely light fragrance on my hands which is luxurious. I don't notice the fragrance on my body very much but it is gorgeous on my hands. I've used this to wash my hands multiple times to get the smell of a certain foot balm out after rubbing it into my feet and this soap definitely helps. I would highly recommend this soap if you have sensitive skin and want a touch of luxury and fragrance without irritation from other perfumed soaps on the market. I'm definitely repurchasing. It's kinda expensive for the amount so I can't use it as a hand soap all the time but if I had my own bathroom a bar of this would be at the sink at all times.

This is the first ever scully's product I have ever tried before and I was highly impressed with it that I want to get some more to try out. The scent of it was amazing! One of the best smelling soaps I have tried, and the scent didn't fade throughout using the product! It lasted a really long time as it is quite a bit soap and it lathers up well. It was very relaxing to use due to the lavender in the soap. It didn't dry out my skin and it definitely felt clean afterwards. Cant wait to try more of there things

I love this soap so much I ordered bulk to give out as my wedding favours to my guests. Lovely lavender scent that smells pure, not artificial & you can see the lavender bits in the soap which adds to it's authenticity. Not drying on skin and leaves a light scent. Highly recommended.

im not a soap user normally but i got given this as a gift for my birthday and the smell was amazing the lavender is a great relaxant and helps you sleep it also has great healing properties my skin felt amazing soft and well moisturized unlike when you use other soap
