These are the eye masks that got me in to eye masks! Sephora do an awesome range of these, which aren't too badly priced at $6-$7. Easily affordable as a weekly pick-me up.
I travel a lot, and without fail I take eye masks with me - nothing better for post conference relaxation etc, and to refresh eyes after being on planes and in buildings.
I find the Sephora eye masks to be very very similar in terms of their effect, despite the claims of them all doing different things. The only difference I notice is the scent.
This is Pearl so doesn't really have a discernable scent and therefore I don't usually get this, but I have tried it and liked it.
All the eye masks in this range are tissue that is saturated with the gel. You usually end up with some excess - i know some save this, i tend to just use it once the eye mask is done and the residue absorbed for a 'top up'
I picked these up in the Melbourne store at the end of a very long day's shopping, eating and sightseeing and needed a pick me up before going out that evening. These are under eye shaped patches, infused with essence (just like a Korean sheet mask)
I popped these on in the bath and due to the large size, I initially placed them over my eyelids to help cool them down and refresh them. Once my peepers were feeling better, I then placed the patch under my eyes, where they were supposed to be. They still adhered nicely to my under eyes and didn't slip off. After my bath I removed the patches and patted the essence in as well as patting in the left over essence in the foil sachet they came in, over the rest of my face. This was enough to keep my skin hydrated for the rest of the evening.
Whilst I didn't notice any difference in my under eye area, I certainly felt more relaxed which is what I was aiming for at the end of the day. I do think these are very expensive for a single use product though. I paid $6aus for these even though they are only $3nz on the website. I'm not sure why that is but if you want to try these, pop them into an online order, don't wait until you're at a store to try them.
