Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes Review

i found getting makeup off at the end of the day so hard with these, it smudges it around all over your face and took me a good 4-5 wipes to get most of it off. properly one of the worst makeup wipes i think iv used

I was extremely disappointed when using these wipes. I have oily sensitive skin so I wanted something that was gentle on my face but effective at removing makeup.

These wipes are gentle and leave my skin feeling fresh but they also leave my makeup behind. I had to use 3 sheets to try and remove my eye makeup. I do not put a lot of eye makeup (light dusting of shadow) and I don't put many coats of mascara so I would have expected 1 sheet to do the job. I thought maybe it was the particular packet I had so I bought another one only to experience the same thing!

I tried theese wipes once and I wont buy them again. I dont know why I do it I hate cleansing wipes but I thought I'd give it a go as it came in a pack. They dried out in the packaging, didnt remove all my makeup and I didnt like the thickness of the wipes. Wouldnt reccomend this product

I liked the simple brand, ingredients etc, BUT these wipes were horrible, they made my face sting and when removing my eye makeup I felt like layers of skin were being removed. Perhaps this is just the wrong brand for me but I was very surprised as the lack of BAD ingredients I would have thought this was a safe bet:(

I use these wipes because my mother and sister use them, but I find that they leave my skin feeling oily. I have to wipe the cleanser from it off with water after use and it is not very gentle around my eye area. Does, however, do a good job at removing my makeup.

I was handed a 7 pack sample of these facial wipes from a supermarket worker,and was eager to give them a go. However sadly I thought that they were quite rough on my skin. Reading through some of the other reviews I found not many people had the same thought, perhaps it was just a bad batch and I couldn't get a good gist of the product with only 7 wipes. I picked up some $2 make up remover wipes from Kmart which really did the job, they were soft and left my skin feeling fresh, so compared to these make up wipes, the $10 simple facial wipes just don't do it for me. Really tried to like these wipes as after reading all about them I assumed they would be really good. However I found they didnt take off all my make up especially my eye makeup. Also after using them for a while my skin started to get very dry under my eyes. The smell is good, the prices is good, but not for someone with sensitive skin.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes can be used on sensitive skin, although be careful with these if you do have extremely sensitive skin. Preferably do a patch test before using them on your face.

I found that these wipes did remove stubborn make-up (including long-wear eyeliner) easily without having to apply too much pressure. They're not the softest wipes on the market and have quite a rough texture, which left the delicate skin around my eyes feeling a little sensitive and looking red and puffy afterwards.

Personally, I prefer make-up remover wipes or facial wipes that come in package with a resealable clip-closed plastic lid rather than a sticker. After a few uses the sticker refuses to remain stuck and the remainder of the wipes tend to start drying out.

The packaging states that there are "no animal derived ingredients", although I have read that this product IS tested on animals. Their website is not very clear on this topic, stating "our parent company Unilever have been leading our industry and investing 3 million a year for the past 7 years on developing alternative non-animal testing methods." Not very clear on whether or not they still test on animals, so I won't be purchasing this product again!
