Simple Micellar Water Review

I've tried a few different brands of micellar water now but this really is the best one out there because it does what you want it to, remove all traces of makeup, without drying out your skin and without any nasty chemicals or overpowering fragrances. It actually feels good for your skin when you're using it.

This product is super cheap, along with the rest of their range! I have always been dubious about what micellar water actually does...so I grabbed this as it was cheaper than a lot of other waters. The smell is pleasant, does not sting the face and takes extra makeup off. But in this same sense I think it works just the same as makeup remover. After use, my skin felt tacky and a little sticky. I appeared to get no pimples from this product but once it was finished I have no desire to purchase it again. It was good while it lasted but as stated above, what’s the point if you already have vitamin enriched makeup removers.

I liked this product because it didn’t leave any residue on my face. However it took quite a long time to get the makeup off compared to other products that I’ve used. I had to go through about 5 or 6 pads before I got rid of all my makeup

I like to use this micellar water either to remove a small amount of makeup from my face, or after cleansing to remove any surface makeup that I have missed. I Know it is gentle to use around my eyes, and I have never experienced any irritation from using it.

This micellar water is pretty simple and basic. I like that it's non-irritating, doesn't stink and not soapy. I've tried a few micellar waters and a couple have been either too soapy or irritating when I use it around my eyes. This price isn't too bad for the size of the bottle. It gets off all my eye makeup with a few wipes of a cotton round, even mascara and waterproof eyeliner. The bottle doesn't leak and the smaller hole in the top makes it easier to control how much you apply onto a cotton pad. It has niacinamide (vitamin B3) and panthenol (vitamin b5) as well as some chamomile flower extract. All over a good buy. Not my preferred brand of micellar water because there is another brand which I think is more economical for the size of the bottle. But this is one I would consider repurchasing.

I was keen to try this, so I got it from a Beauty Review Beauty Vault.

It comes in a clear 200ml bottle with writing in green on it and a green lid. It has instructions on the back about how to use it, and it does not have to be rinsed off after application. The small nozzle on the bottle allows a controlled amount to be applied to a cotton pad for application. It is very easy to use and to apply.

It is a very gentle, very mild formula which I find does not irritate my eyes when I remove eye makeup. I found it removed makeup effectively.

I saw this on special at The Warehouse for only $4 so in my cart it went. I love using micellar water, especially at night after a long day at work.

I have dry, sensitive skin so the first test was to see if it stung, no stinging yay! I got no irritation at all and it didn't leave my skin feeling dry and tight or any soapy residue.  It removes my makeup quickly and easily. I was impressed.

There is no overwhelming scent and no nasties which I love. The Simple brand is great and affordable.  A lovely micellar water which got the job done.

I'd heard such great things about Micellar water that I thought I better jump on the bandwagon to see what I was missing out on! The Simple Micellar water has no nasties, a fresh fragrance and a multitude of uses!

I first used it to remove my mascara from a night out and found that it did so extremely efficiently and with no stinging to my eyes! I also used it to freshen my skin first thing in the morning. I found it so gentle I also used it on my 8 and 10 year old daughters and it was fabulous for removing pen marks and dirt from their faces! You could see the grime it removed on the cotton pads but it felt like you were using fresh water! I would definitely recommend and will be stocking up my supplies!

I use this every night before bed. I always put quick a thick layer on and let it soak in before I go to sleep. I wake up in the morning and my skin is SO soft and smooth!

It doesn't have a strong smell, it's more of a neutral and natural type smell which I really like - nothing worse than feeling like you have perfume on your face!

its reasonably priced aswell, and available from most supermarkets. I think this is a great brand for people wanting quality skincare for a nice price.

The only downfall for me is, when I first put it on it stings for about 10 seconds (it might just be my dry skin type) but that quickly goes away - the benefits far outweigh the negatives
