I use micellar water to remove my makeup before cleansing as I wear Estee Lauder double wear and it takes quite a bit to remove. I have tried the garnier one and while it removed all my makeup it resulted in terrible breakouts after long term use. The simple micellar water is a lot gentler in my opinion and easily removes all my makeup.

Simple micellar water is so gentle on my sensitive skin. It does not dry out or irritate my skin. After using it, my skin does not feel oily or dry at all. It is the best micellar water I have ever used. It is so affordable, great price for a decent size bottle.
It removes makeup effectively and gently. It does an amazing job removing my makeup including waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It requires a bit of work to remove waterproof makeup off completely.
The micellar water does not have a smell. I apply it on a cotton pad, and gently wipe makeup off my skin. For eyes, I place the cotton pad with micellar water on them, wait for a few seconds and then gently wipe the eye make-up off. It does not irritate my eye area, does not leave my eyes stinging which is amazing.
Overall, it is a brilliant product that removes makeup easily. I love using this micellar water. It works well for people with sensitive skin like me. I would definitely repurchase and recommend this to everyone.
I really like this product regardless of the tiny cons I've witnessed. It doesn't have a pleasant smell to me, admittedly low key smells like some sort of detergent which at first was really unappealing, but I think I got used to the scent so it doesn't bother me anymore. The formula doesn't bubble or go sudsy nor sting my eyes at all. It also really helps keep my face super soft and leaves my skin clean, smooth, and ready for when I put on my overnight facial oil. If only it came in a 400ml version! Definitely ranking it up there on the micellar water scale as it is gentle on the skin, but still powerful enough to do what it claims. Highly recommend.
Tips: Use rounded or square pads not cotton balls when cleaning your face with this product so it will be evenly spread.
I was pleasantly surprised when I used Simple Micellar Water. I have quite sensitive skin and most 'gentle' skin products cause a reaction or, at least, sting when I use them. But Simple Micellar Water did neither of these. In fact, it felt like I was just using water on my face.
It was very effective - one swipe of the cotton pad and it was covered in makeup (of which I don't wear much so I was quite surprised with how much there was to remove!). A few more wipes and my face was clean and felt refreshed. This is definitely going to be a must have in my bathroom cupboard and travel bag!
Tips: Use more than one cotton pad for a great cleanse.
Prior to trialling this product I've tried micellar water but never really loved it. However this one was everything micellar water should be.
First up, the packaging. The bottle size is perfect - large enough that it will last quite a while, small enough that you can throw it in your overnight bag. The cap is a really sturdy flip-top, so it's easy to open, but not going to break in use. The bottle is clear so you can easily see how much you have left and when you need to buy another bottle.
I have sensitive combination skin so often products make me break out or sensitise my skin. This meant I was a bit nervous about trying this product (something you don't rinse off!). But I needn't have worried. I found the micellar water to be cooling and soothing on my skin, leaving it feeling clean and hydrated, as promised.
In terms of makeup removal, most days on this trial I wasn't wearing any makeup (a few weeks ago I officially declared it Too Hot for Makeup!), but yesterday I wore BB cream and mascara. The micellar water removed it, but it took three cotton pads before I felt my skin was clean enough for toner. The eye makeup, however, was removed very easily with a few gentle wipes. I struggle with eye makeup remover (everything stings or is so gentle it doesn't actually remove the mascara), so I would potentially repurchase just for that.
All up this is a nice little product. If you have sensitive skin and want to get on the micellar bandwagon, this is the product for you!
Tips: This is a very affordable $12 so throw it in your shopping trolley and your flat mates/other half will never notice!
I like to use this micellar water either to remove a small amount of makeup from my face, or after cleansing to remove any surface makeup that I have missed. I Know it is gentle to use around my eyes, and I have never experienced any irritation from using it.
Recommend from teen to queen
Tips: Drizzle some on a face pad and swipe over your face.
I love this product! Especially if you have sensitive skin, this cleansing water gently leaves your face feeling refreshed and clean. I use cotton pads to take off my make up and it gets it off with ease without feeling oily at all. It doesn't leave your skin feeling irritated or have a strong scent.
Tips: I recommend using cotton pads or rounds with the micellar water. When taking off your eye makeup, saturate the pad and press it over your eye for a little while, and it comes off so easily.
I love Micellar Waters! I used my big bottle of Bioderma for over a year and absolutely loved it. As it is hard to find I picked up a bottle of the Garnier Micellar water. Unfortunately that one broke me out, and wouldn't let the pimples I had heal properly. So I broke my no-spend in the middle of May and purchased this from New World. I love how easy this one is to find.
I bought the bottle in the 200ml size which is a great size, not so big and bulky that it takes up a lot of space on your counter. I also like this as when you tip it to get the product out it doesn't spill too much out. The bottle is squeezy but not too flimsy. I also like that the bottle is clear so you know how much you have left. The packaging is as expected... Simple.
The product itself is clear, and doesn't really have a discernible scent. I use this most nights as a second cleanser before serum/moisturiser, and also in the morning before moisturising. I really like its ability to make my skin feel extra clean and get rid of any extra residue of makeup. I usually use it on a cotton pad, but when doing my makeup if I need to clean up a wee bit I use it on a cotton bud (eg when cleaning up those eyeliner wings that go wrong), both ways work well. I haven't found this to break out my skin at all which is great.
I will continue to purchase this micellar water as it is easy to find, does the job, and doesn't cause me any skin issues!
I'm new to the world of Micellar Water, I've only given two brands a go and this is by far my favourite and has definitely earn it's place in my daily routine! This removes makeup so easily and leaves my skin feeling clean without stripping the moisture from it. I use it to remove makeup before my nightly cleanse or in the morning before I put on my serum & moisturiser. The packaging is basic, a clear 200mL squeeze bottle that doesn't pour too much product out at once and seals off well. I don't think I'll bother with any other Micellar Water, this stuff really works for my skin and doesn't cause me any irritation.
I use this every night before bed. I always put quick a thick layer on and let it soak in before I go to sleep. I wake up in the morning and my skin is SO soft and smooth!
It doesn't have a strong smell, it's more of a neutral and natural type smell which I really like - nothing worse than feeling like you have perfume on your face!
its reasonably priced aswell, and available from most supermarkets. I think this is a great brand for people wanting quality skincare for a nice price.
The only downfall for me is, when I first put it on it stings for about 10 seconds (it might just be my dry skin type) but that quickly goes away - the benefits far outweigh the negatives
