Simple Micellar Water Review

I love this product! Especially if you have sensitive skin, this cleansing water gently leaves your face feeling refreshed and clean. I use cotton pads to take off my make up and it gets it off with ease without feeling oily at all. It doesn't leave your skin feeling irritated or have a strong scent.

I love Micellar Waters! I used my big bottle of Bioderma for over a year and absolutely loved it. As it is hard to find I picked up a bottle of the Garnier Micellar water. Unfortunately that one broke me out, and wouldn't let the pimples I had heal properly. So I broke my no-spend in the middle of May and purchased this from New World. I love how easy this one is to find.

I bought the bottle in the 200ml size which is a great size, not so big and bulky that it takes up a lot of space on your counter. I also like this as when you tip it to get the product out it doesn't spill too much out. The bottle is squeezy but not too flimsy. I also like that the bottle is clear so you know how much you have left. The packaging is as expected... Simple.

The product itself is clear, and doesn't really have a discernible scent. I use this most nights as a second cleanser before serum/moisturiser, and also in the morning before moisturising. I really like its ability to make my skin feel extra clean and get rid of any extra residue of makeup. I usually use it on a cotton pad, but when doing my makeup if I need to clean up a wee bit I use it on a cotton bud (eg when cleaning up those eyeliner wings that go wrong), both ways work well. I haven't found this to break out my skin at all which is great.

I will continue to purchase this micellar water as it is easy to find, does the job, and doesn't cause me any skin issues!

I'm new to the world of Micellar Water, I've only given two brands a go and this is by far my favourite and has definitely earn it's place in my daily routine! This removes makeup so easily and leaves my skin feeling clean without stripping the moisture from it. I use it to remove makeup before my nightly cleanse or in the morning before I put on my serum & moisturiser. The packaging is basic, a clear 200mL squeeze bottle that doesn't pour too much product out at once and seals off well. I don't think I'll bother with any other Micellar Water, this stuff really works for my skin and doesn't cause me any irritation.

This was my first foray into the world of micellar waters. It is unscented, and packaged into a squeezy top bottle with a secure lid- this gives good control over how much product is used each time. To use I grab about 4 cotton pads and bunch them together, squeeze onto the pads enough Micellar water to moisten all the pads at once. I then use these across my face front and back of the pad. This removes most of the makeup off my face (I do tend to follow up with a makeup wipe to be sure). I love this for lazy days when I cant be bothered washing my face (although realistically they probably take the same amount of time!). I love how gentle this product is on the face and around the eyes. This wont remove the bulk of eye makeup so you do need to use a eye-makeup remover to do that (which I generally would anyway). All in all am very happy with this product, it certainly does a better job at pulling off the bulk of my makeup than a cleansing wipe alone. I have had my bottle about two months, use it once or twice a week and am about a third of the way through the bottle. Will definitely repurchase.

This is the first Micellar Water I've tried, and I am hooked. The product is great at taking off full coverage makeup, my Double Wear practically glides off, and leaves skin feeling clean and soft. The packaging nothing special, but then for the price I wasn't really expecting much.

In total I use roughly four cotton pads to take off makeup. I use both sides of the pads, and simply swipe them across my face. If I have a lot of eye makeup on I will saturate the pad and hold it to my eye for a couple of seconds to loosen the product, then wipe it all away. After this I wash my face with a warm flannel, tone and moisturize my face. I can honestly say this is the best type of cleanser I have to date :)

I am a mother so my routine changes a lot at nighttime and I don't Always get time to pamper my face and a lot of the time it gets the old face wipe to it and some moisturiser.

I realised this most likely wasn't removing all of my makeup which would block pores etc. I found this at the supermarket as it was on sale. I also purchased some cotton pads to use it with.

I did my usual nighttime routine and added the Micellar water to a pad and started wiping my forehead and then looked at the pad. My gosh there was a lot of makeup left behind! I ended up using two pads for my whole face which was so scary knowing I was going to bed every night with that makeup makeup residue on my face!

Since adding this into my poor nighttime routine I feel a lot better about going to bed at night k owing I have a clean face. I wipe my face with this leads until the pad stays clean.

I have noticed a big difference in how clogged my pores where before I started using this, my makeup sits better in my problem areas because my pores are much more clear clean.

I'm very happy with this product and I'm so glad I purchased this and will be purchasing it again once I run out!

I have tried other micellar waters and so far I have found this one to be the best for a number of factors.

Firstly, it removes more of my makeup. With other micellar waters I constantly found myself using more and more cotton pads and product to remove my makeup. After using the Simple Micellar water I found that I only needed a small amount to clean my face.

Secondly, my skin doesn't feel dry and tight like it did with the others. Perhaps it is more compatible to my skin care but I found that this one was more comfortable to use and did not sting my skin.

Lastly, this product doesn't not leave a sticky residue/feeling after using it. This is great as I do like to re-moisturise my face after cleansing.

I recently purchased Simple Micellar water after hearing lots of hype about it. I wasn’t expecting much from this product as I don’t like the brand Simple. I was pleasantly surprised when I used it as it removed my make up so well especially my heavy eye make-up with and waterproof mascara. I found that I was easily able to remove all of my make-using two cotton pads as this product removes make up so easily. The only negative thing I have to say about this micellar water was that it did irritate my eyes a little bit, however it is still a really good product and I am going to continue to use it to remove foundation. It leaves your skin feeling clean and you know you’ve thoroughly removed your make-up after using it. I would highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised when I used it and it removed my make up so well. Especially my heavy eye make-up with and waterproof mascara. It is light and does not have a bad smell to it which is a bonus. It is very gentle on my skin which is good because I get cystic acne at the drop of a hat!

This is very good at removing my daily make up - I only wear very light make up on a day-to-day basis. It's very gentle and soothing and it doesn't have a strong scent.
