Simple Spotless Skin Acne Treatment Spot Zapper Review

It is very rare that I write a terrible review for a product, but in this case it would be dishonest to say this product did absolutely anything for my skin!

I adore Simple as a brand, and have had great success with their foaming cleanser and moisturisers in the past, so was super keen to try out this spot treatment. The packaging is pretty cute, which I liked, and the price is affordable. But even after following the instructions perfectly I saw zero improvement on my skin. Even after using this consistently for over a week there were no improvements (let alone in four hours!). Quite disappointed.

Looks like my search for the perfect spot treatment is not yet at an end :-(

I picked this up on special at Countdown because I was looking for a new blemsih stick and this looked about as close as I could get.

The first thing to note is the packaging. It looks like a tube but then has a roller ball like roll on deodorant for application. I quite like this as it feels like it could be better than a blemish stick in terms of not spreading the infection.

The ingredients inside the tube are natural and gentle on the skin, so that also got a big tick.

Effectiveness-wise however, not really sure about the difference in 4 hours. Maybe a scan under the skin might show changes but on the surface not usually much. Overnight I have seen differences though. However like a lot of these products. Half the time it helps and half the time it doesn't seem to do a thing.

Because of it natural soothing ingredients however, it does always sooth imflammed areas after application for a few minutes.

My skin is generally good but I definitely get spots popping up from time to time. I use this in conjunction with the simple spotless skin moisturiser and the gel wash.

I love that it has a roller ball so you don't need to use your fingers and touch any nasty spots. I use this when I feel a spot coming up or when one has already reared its ugly head. I find it is gentle on my sensitive skin but is really effective.

It helps soothe and calm any spots down, they heal faster and generally don't look as angry.  It is definitely a good spot treatment but I do feel like it works best when used with the matching spot products from the same range.

A great affordable price and always fantastic to have on hand.

i really can see results after using it ,it cooling when i applied it ,i used it all over my face and pad it dry like a toner ,and i can see my acnes were disappearing just after applied, but i used quite a lot every time so it wont last very but anyway its cheap so its good .

My son is using this at the moment and he's not really a fan. He's entered into those wonderful 'teenage years' where your skin becomes super fussy.

He likes the fact that it has a roller ball applicator as it makes it quick and easy to use.

He does have sensitive skin (just like his Mum, poor kid) so fragrance has to be minimal which this product is so thats a positive.

Does it zap spots like it promises? He doesn't think it does so will be on the hunt for another product for him.

I don't think it gives results in just 4 hours. I can only see the difference after it's applied more often on my troublesome spot. More of a slow burning kind of treatment than an instant zapper.

It doesn't work on cystic acnes but works wonderfully on those smaller hormonal ones that turn up before period. It's amazing when used on pimples that have been popped, seemed to speed healing time.
