Soap & Glory Flake Away - Spa Body Polish Review

This is a sea salt scrubs and for me personally it burnt and stung my skin. In saying that I do have sensitive/eczema prone skin so just don’t think it was the right product for my skin type.

This was a lifesaver during lockdown when I felt like I did not need to shave as much as I was not going out, but still needed to exfoliate any sort of dead skin, it smells delicious by the way and does an even better job of scrubbing but not being too harsh, my legs felt sooo smooth afterwards, and I have since used this before/after shaving and its helped with minimising ingrown hair which is a major PLUS in my books!

I adore this product. I love the soap and glory range - especially the pricing aspect. Was waiting in line at Mecca and picked up a travel size of this as I was heading away soon after. Fell in love instantly - super affordable, accessible and has a great scent. This removes everything - dead skin, fake tan, dryness etc. I use this to exfoliate and remove old fake tan that I always struggle to remove and this gets it off in an instant! - brought the full size for $16 and use it daily! one of my best buys of 2017!

I bought the sample size of this last week for the first time as a wee treat to myself and oh my lord I am IN LOVE! It definitely does what it says, makes your skin feel silky smooth. I am going back next week to buy the full size product!

Flake Away is just one of those things. Those things you discover almost by accident then don't like to be without. I literally always have a travel sized tub of this and now that i've panned nearly all the rest of my scrubs I'm buying a big one.

Like all Soap and Glory goodies it comes in kitschy-cute packaging - their brand-typical slightly peachy pink, with the tag line 'It might be fine if her friends are flaky but a lady's legs should never be' - that sort of thing amuses me far more than lofty claims about results.

The exfoliant agent is apricot seed, I believe - wee brown flecks in the thick off-white creamy main product. It has a scent reminiscent of 'Clean on Me' and 'The Righteous Butter' - soft and sweet but not over the top.

It's a gentle scrub with small exfoliant particles, in an oil based base that leaves skin clean, soft and hydrated, with a gentle scent that doesn't compete with lotions.

The only slight drawback comes with the pottle - you either have to juggle slightly to get the lid back on or find somewhere to keep it out of the water until you CAN get the lid back on - excess water in the pottle does, of course, compromise the texture

I love Soap & Glory more than I can say - the price points are great, the products are always great, and they signature scent is great. Flake Away is no exception - it's a permanent tenant of my shower caddy. I use once a week as I have quite sensitive skin, normally before shaving which work wonders! Can't recommend enough.

This is the best scrub I've ever used! It's so effective at exfoliating without being harsh on my skin. The scent is amazing, it stays on the skin for ages after use and it doesn't give me a headache! It's super moisturising too, my skin feels so soft and smooth when I use it! When I first tried it, I bought the mini at Mecca, but since then I've had several full sized tubs. I love that they have minis, because it gives you a chance to try something without spending loads of money. I would highly recommend this scrub!

I purchased this Soap and Glory exfoliator after reading the positive reviews. This is my first Soap and Glory product and I was really happy with the way in which it easily exfoliated my skin without scratching. The fragrance is lovely too, enough without being overpowering. I now use this exfoliator every weekend as part of my self care routine.
