Goodbye cracked heels - Soultime to the rescue

I have an ongoing battle with cracked heels and I think this product is great for my dry heels. I put it on after my shower and then put socks on afterwards. By the time I am ready for my day or for bed, the balm is absorbed and my feet feel great. It has a nice, slightly medicinal smell. The consistency is creamy and greasy. The product absorbs into the skin fast. The packaging is subtle and nice. A little goes a long way, so I think this is good value for money. I will be recommending this product to my friends and will be purchasing this in future.

Tips: I have been using this on a few other rough patches as well - even on the back of my hands before bedtime and it hydrates beautifully. Also nourishes the nails - especially dry and brittle toenails.

Treat for your tootsies.

Ok, I admit it. I have the most disgusting, scaly lizard feet that you will ever come across, no doubt caused by my insistence of wearing jandals from the minute summer begins. So you can imagine my joy at receiving a gorgeous pottle of Soultime Foot Balm to review.

Soultime Footbalm comes in a heavy tub with a silver lid. It's overall appearance is quite high end, with a classy, subtle logo and purple, silver and white theme.

Upon opening the tub, your nose is greeted with a rush of beautiful lavendar oil- great for instantly relaxing you you at the end of the day. The balm is cream coloured and delectably creamy. It is packed with coconut oil, Shea butter, olive oil, almond oil and beeswax which literally melt into your feet as you massage the balm in. This is a night time balm and I would recommend popping it on and putting your feet up with a cup of tea so that your feet have time to absorb all of the delicious oils. I used the balm every night for a week and have noticed that the cracks in my feet have definitely lessened and overall my feet feel softer. Most of all, I enjoyed the ritual of rubbing it in to my tired feet and relaxing as I breathed in the true lavendar smell.

Tips: Slather it on after a bath and then pop on some cotton socks for a real treat!

Soultime Foot Balm - <3 it!

The name of this foot balm – Soultime – is not kidding. On first opening the product, the impression is of something your eco-loving neighbour whipped up, with a smell that is heavily lavender-based and a colour and consistency that clearly comes from the combo of beeswax and oils. This is a lovely contrast to the preservative-loaded, manufactured look of many products on the market. This immediately made me trust the product and feel like it was probably going to be good for me. And I was right! After my shower I massaged this stuff into my feet and I enjoyed the relaxing scent as I prepared myself for bed. The effect was rather oily, although that may be a comment on how much I put on. I was super surprised to find in the morning, after just one use, a noticeable difference in my feet. They were already softer and smoother. Now, after a second application, my feet are no longer the horrible dry scratchy things they were and I no longer feel self-conscious when my heels touch my husband’s bare legs in the night! (Wow, I sounds really attractive, huh??) This product totally outperformed my expectations and I will be looking out for where I can buy it in the future.

Tips: This is a little oily, so if you’re worried about your sheets put some cotton socks on before you climb into bed.

Very luxurious

I cannot think of a better product to review for my first trial!!

It arrived in a lovely glass jar inside a purple organza bag. The jar was very sturdy and quite heavy. I would not break easily and the lid screwed on and off easily.

The balm smelt devine and was set very thick so no spillage. The instructions on the jar were to use at night so before bed I gave it a go.

This was easy to get out of the jar as starts to melt when you rub your fingers on it - the oils become so fragrant as they warm up. The smell is very natural and a nice combination of coconut, lavender and other oils.

The texture of the balm makes it very easy to apply, I massaged it into the top and bottom of my feet with particular attention to my heels and pressure points. It takes a wee while for the balm to absorb as it is oil based but does not leave a really thick residue so is ok to put slippers or socks on.

After using for a few days I really noticed a lovely softness to my feet and my heels had softened up too.

This was a beautiful luxurious product and I loved giving my feet a little pampering. Will definitely purchase again

Tips: Have your slippers or socks handy afterward as you don't want to be absorbed into the carpet

Soultime Foot Balm Review

Love using this gorgeous peppermint scented footbalm. It was easy to apply, (wasn't to waxy) It massaged well creating minimal warmth. I used for eight nights and my feet definitely feel softer and the small amount of rough skin on my heel has nearly gone, yay! Even gave builder hubby a foot-rub, he enjoyed the products smell and said the next day that his feet felt really good at work. I do think the price is on a higher end for product size but overall I loved it, a great New Zealand made product

Tips: Apply using alot of small amounts, not in blobs. Was great on my hands, I had no reaction on my dermatitis.

Instantly nourished

As a hairdresser I'm on my feet all day. This balm was so good to come home too and it instantly soothes my feet. They are no longer dry and feel so much better the next day too. The balm is quite oily but I actually quite like that as it feels so nourishing on cracked souls. Will definitely use again! Also I like that the smell is quite refreshing but still mild

Tips: Apply at night and wear socks if you want to let it really soak in.

Soultime Foot Balm

This foot balm had a real nice fragrance which had a nice calming effect. It was nice and cooling and soothing but I didn't see any visible difference in my feet when using it. I think if your feet are past the point of being soft and supple (cracked etc) its not going to make it better. I think this is probably more suited to those that already have soft feet to stop them getting hard and cracked.

Even though it did soak in it still left my feet feeling quite slippery in the morning, nearly lost my footing going into the bathroom.

The good thing is it didn't stain the sheets like I thought it would.

So if you have cracked or harden heels this is the product for you but to make the tired feet feel refreshed and not so tired then this product does the trick.

Tips: Be careful in the morning as your feet are still slippery.

Not overly impressed in comparison to others

I'm slowly becoming a foot cream/balm expert as I make my way through the various potions on offer trying to find that holy grail that will work on my rough heels, as well as my husband's sore heel cracks. We seem to go through creams for this area of the body more than we use up fresh milk!

Packaging, there is a wholesome, home grown charm to the Soultime range which is quite endearing and refreshing. The foot balm comes in a round glass jar with a silver screw top lid with the label consuming most of the glass so you can't see through to the contents. Inside the balm is a smooth waxy consistency that once warms melts into a fluid oil for ease of absorption to the foot area. This makes it very effective to give a great foot massage as your fingers glide over the skin effortlessly. Fragrance wise I found that the scent was pleasantly understated, with no chemicals enhancing the ingredients there is a muteness to the soft olive and lavender tones that once absorbed into the feet leave no lingering aroma.

Be careful how you store this as if exposed to high temperature the balm will melt into an oil state, which I found out by leaving it on the fire mantel one night....oops. It doesn't affect the balm at all and sets back quickly once cooled down. I wouldn't rush off to repurchase this as it just doesn't seem to have the power needed to keep on top of the cracked, parched skin across my soles and heels. Let alone make a dent in preventing or easing the deep cracks in my husband's heel. It was a pleasant massage enhancer but other than that I wouldn't rely on it to soften my skin or keep it nourished as some others in the natural skincare department can do better and quicker.

Happy Feet!

Before I start this review, I just want to advise that this is the first time I've used a foot balm but my mum and nana have been using them for years. I figured the best way to trial something like this would be with their help! We tried this after spending a day at the beach, walking on sand, rocks and in salt water. After all dancing for quite a few years I must admit our feet are nothing nice to look at but after being at the beach they looked terrible! After showering, we all sat down and coated our tootsies in the Soultime Foot Balm, and we were all pleasantly surprised, not just by the fact that it smells yum but that it was so easy to apply and felt great on our skin. The first thing we noticed the next morning was that our feet still looked moisturized, normally we have dry feet again the next morning but not this time! We all continued to use the product over the course of a week, just to see what difference it would make aside form helping our skin to feel less dry. We are all convinced this is a GREAT product! Not only do we no longer have dry cracked heals, but the years of dance shoes rubbing against our feet causing blisters and callouses have also taken on a slightly less scary form. Highly recommend for daily or weekly use to keep feet looking and smelling great!

Tips: Try not to leave open around any animals, our cat and puppy had quite a scary infatuation with the smell of the balm and even resorted to trying to lick it from our feet!

Treat your feet

It's not often that I would spend much time attending to my feet, thus they are often neglected and only get a treatment if i'm getting a manicure and during the winter, that seldom happens, so when the Soultime foot balm arrived, it opened up a whole new regime for me. From the moment I saw the product, I loved it. I loved the simple and organic packaging and when I opened it, the smell was divine. The scent reminded me of this spa I visited once in the hinterlands of the goldcoast and instantly brought back memories of pampering and wellness. I used the product the day it arrived, after a bath and before bed...what a wonderful way to realax, unwind and treat yourself to some 'you' time. As I massaged the balm into my feet and inhaled the aromatic oils, I instantly felt calmer. The balm left my feet feeling softened, scented and pampered and I was surprised the next day my feet still felt moisturised. I continued to use the product every night for the following 7 days and was surprised at how much I was looking forward to my new foot care nightly routine. Over the course of the week, my tired, rough and dry feet transformed into soft, dewy and scented feet and I couldn't be more grateful for this product. Summer is coming and i'm really excited about using this product to get my feet ready for Havianas and the beach! Two things I got from this product that I didn't expect were: My boyfriend loved it and we used it to massage each others feet, which was a lovely bonus, also, having this product made me realize how much i neglect my feet and how special it was, giving my feet some time and love that they desperately deserve.I will definitely use this product again and recommend it to anyone looking to treat themselves or to soften up tired old feet

Tips: Buy this for your friends for Christmas, its the perfect gift!
