St Ives Body Lotion

I have used this product in the past and it does a good job, it leaves a velvety finish and doesn't feel oily. It has the right consistency in texture where it's not too runny or too thick. I find that having the pump bottle is very handy and dispenses a good amount of product from one pump where i can easily cover my leg in one go without being left with too much or to little that i need another pump. The bottle size is very generous so it lasts longer and has a nice curved shape in the side making it easier to hold without sliding through your fingers. But I recently got put off using this product because a friend of mine read somewhere that it's not a good brand to use in the long run (consistent use over a long period of time). I don't know if this is true or not but better safe then sorry right? Which is a shame because I do really enjoy using this product.

I received this in a gift box and must say it is quite good! I have sensitive skin and this hasn't irritated my hands and my hands feel soft and smooth after application. There is no greasy feel and it smells very nice and refreshing. I use it only on my hands and keep it at work .

I'm in my mid-thirties and have started to notice that my skin is beginning to show signs of ageing (especially my hands). I picked up St Ives' Skin Renewing body lotion (with Collagen & Elastin) hoping that it may help to delay any more noticable aging on my body!

The large pump action bottle means that the body lotion lasts a long time (it lasted me about 8 months, using it every night on my legs and sometimes on my arms). This is probably a very bad habit, but I don't often moisturise my whole body. Usually I only do my legs and sometimes arms as I can't reach my back and if I put moisturiser on my tummy, I feel a bit sweaty and uncomfortable.

This body lotion is very moisturising and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft and the subtle scent is feminine without being overpowering. It's non-irritating and is great to use after shaving. If I wax or epilate, I usually wait 24 hours before applying any kind of body lotion.

This is one of my favourite moisturisers. It absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves the skin looking dewey and hydrated. I really like how this product has a thicker consistency than other moisturisers and how the scent is not overpowering.

This product is great value for money and will last you a very long time. I moisturise my whole body every night after showering and it lasts me several months.

As far as an all body moisturiser goes this stuff is pretty great. I usually buy the Coconut Milk and Orchid but at the moment I'm using the Vitamin E. I love how fresh the scent is without being too overpowering, it also doesn't irritate my skin. I also find that it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling on my skin after I've applied it. My boyfriend even uses it on sunburn. The only downside is that it is quite hard to get the last of the product out, normally I cut the bottle in half. It would be great if they could make a travel sized bottle.

I love the oatmeal and Shea butter body cream, smells lovely, makes my skin feel great and it's a great price too. I go back to it time and time again after trying others which may be on special and always come back to it cos it is the best. Definitely recommend this body moisturiser!

I have had this moisturizer for so long and have only just used it up. Part of the reason I hadn't used it up fast enough was the pump.

The pump, is a genius idea, but the product is too thick. With each pump, I got less and less product on my hand, and I used about 4-5 pumps for my body. So that was annoying. And about 1/4 of the product was stuck in the bottom of the massive bottle, because the pump somehow pushed it away and made a well around itself, so the product wouldn't go up.

The smell, while not overpowering, got boring after a while. I'll admit it was nice at first but after using it everyday it got just... boring. Nothing was exciting enough for me to want to write home about it, and nothing will make me remember how amazing it was.

I will say though, it absorbed really quickly and that's always a plus. Otherwise, I don't see myself repurchasing this product, which is a shame. Maybe a different smell would be better? Or perhaps this stuff just isn't for me :-)

I use this product usually on my legs and it keeps them moisturised most of the day. It has a suttle smell to it. I think mine it the oatmeal one and is not overpowering which I like. The consistency of the product is quite thick which is consistent with body moisturisers. It is quite greasy which I do not like about it. Because its quite greasy you need to leave it for a few minutes before putting clothes on as it can get greasy marks on your clothing. It dries at the end of the pump so you end up spreading a dry clump onto your leg if you don't remove it before hand. If you were using this on a day-to-day basis this probably wouldn't happen but I am terrible at remembering to moisturise my legs and the rest of my body and always in a rush so when I do remember to moisturise my legs I will usually end up with the dry clump on my leg haha! I love the pump its easy to use and especially when I am in a rush its quick to use! For me this product tends to last a long time. I am at the end of mine at the moment so I will be buying more of it :)

I have dry,itchy skin and the oatmeal shea is ideal for me I use this after showering and especially after shaving. It leaves my skin soft and non greasy I would recommend to any one who does not have a lot of time as it's simple and you dont have to wait it for it to absorb

I use the Oatmeal Shea one as I have particularly dry and sensitive skin and found this product not too over powering in scent and worked well to alleviate the dry itchiness I normally experience, it's thick creamy texture is devine, but it absorbs well and is non greasy. I found it worked well to make my skin feel more soft and supple. The oatmeal was really soothing. I LOVEE this product so much, and it's easy enough to get it all out of the bottle with a little bang on the table.
