the feel of the scrub while using is very gentile especially for my sensitive skin and after using it my face feels absolutely refreshed and i notice that it clears my redness of my pimple scar. the scrub claims to clear blackheads however i only noticed the effects after 3 weeks of using the scrub.

St. Ives Green Tea Blackhead Clearing Scrub Review
Green tea packs a punch in this derma-tested, blackhead-tackling scrub. It’s got those good guys – antioxidants and it’s moderately exfoliating too, helping to target blackheads, unclog pores and calms redness, for a more even skin tone. It also contains olive leaf extract which the Egyptians saw as a symbol of heavenly power. And who’d argue with that?

Tips: I would recommend to not vigorously rub the scrub on your face because it does cause a lot of irritation but rather to genitally and softly rub on your face and after washing off, dab the towel around your face rather than rubbing to avoid irritation
I'm relatively busy with work at the moment so i'm really looking for products that are easy to use, and do what they say they will do.
I was excited to recieve my free full sized sample of this product because i have ALWAYS had blackheads, pretty much a lot on my nose but not really anywhere else. Not really super noticeable, but it has always frustrated me. So I was keen to give this scrub a whirl.
Instructions - really simple and easy to follow. So I've been using it every second day in the shower, straight after my cleanser.
It's the colour of avocado or guacamole and it's got a really nice fine scrub texture. Not too coarse or harsh like some scrubs.
Applied in small circular motions and left on for a few minutes to really let it soak in. It smells nice so that made this part a lot easier.
I've been using it for just over a week now, so five times, and i'm actually really surprised to that i have less visible blackheads on my nose, which is really cool. So all signs point to it doing what it says it will.
Tips: I'm using every two days which i find is a good amount. Leave it on for a few minutes to allow it to soak in, and using it in the shower = less mess!
This scrub claims to get rid of black heads, I don't personally have any huge blackheads but like most people I get texture and bumps around my nose. This scrub completely cleared up any clogged pores I had on my nose and my nose literally felt so smooth after.
It has a gentle exfoliating feel, it isn't a harsh scrub but you can definitely feel that it is cleaning and really unclogging any pores. It also has green tea in it so it smells amazing.
I was skeptical that something you only rub on your face for half a minute would be able to clear up my pores but it really did. I use this probably 3 times a week and my skin stays smooth in between uses as well.
The packaging is great, it comes in an easy squeeze tube so you can just squeeze out as much as you think you need for you face.
Definitely recommend this, its so much easier and faster than pore masks and it does the same job if not better.
Tips: Use after a shower to get the most out of it with open pores
I fell in love with the scent as soon as I used it... however within a day my skin broke out and looked awful. I felt like I had a zillion 'blind pimples' and swore I'd never use it again. I persisted, and incredibly the spots never eventuated. My skin is clear and with minimal redness and I can see a noticeable difference in the pore size on my nose.
Tips: I use in the shower each morning! Use on your decolletage for a nice self tan base
Now this might be gross but I actually suffer from blackheads not only on my face but in my armpits (sees the town folk with their pitchforks charging towards me)
I had a few scrubs on the go when I got this green tea blackhead clearing scrub so decided to really put it to the test by using in the shower, as a skin scrub for all areas of my body and wow did it impress me.
The fragance is fresh but not overpowering and the squeeze tube is a soft plastic so you are able to squeeze the very last drop out which is a big bonus for me. Brightly coloured green with a slight grit to the texture this scrub smooths onto the skin in a more gentle fashion to some other scrubs, but it has power and after only a few days of use I noticed that almost all those problems areas were free from those pesky blighters.
It has landed in my shopping trolley this week as I ran out just the other day and I already miss using it in the shower.
I thought the apricot scrub was my favourite, but then I found this! The scrub is of much finer texture and of a greeny herby sweet smell. You only need a pea sized amount, then gently rub it around on your wet face. After using this my face feels clean and smoother, but using more than a pea sized blob results in tight feeling skin. The scrub texture on this is like fine sand, where the apricot scrub is much more coarse.
I think it targeted my blackheads and it is a very good scrub leaves your skin clean and fresh. Certainly will use time and again the whole range as they all scrub very well.
This blackhead formula is the best face wash st ives has by my opinion. It's super super gentle but you can feel it scrubbing away. I just finished my last bottle and once again the price is super affordable too. So stock up! It smells nice and lasts around a month and a half with regular use.
Tips: Use less water for more exfoliation. More water for for a creamy texture.
I've used the St Ives apricot scrub alot in the past so I was really keen to try this one when I saw it in the beauty vault. The packaging is a white squeezy tube with green writing, a picture of green tea leaves and the St Ives brand name at the top. The scrub is a green paste that smells really refreshing. The texture is quite smooth with just a little bit of grit so it's quite gentle on my face. I've been using it 2-3 times a week and I'm really liking it, it leaves my skin soft and refreshed everytime. I didn't notice it clearing my blackheads, although I don't really get alot of them anyway and it didn't calm any redness but I would definitely keep buying this one because of the smell and how it leaves my face feeling, it does really clean it well.
