This product is quite harsh on the skin feeling like sandpaper however it does remove the dead skin really well. If you have pimples or sores on the face may not be a good product as it can open up the sores and irritate your face and does dry your face out.

Tips: Use very small mounts and use with caution of you have pimples or sores on the face.
I love the apricot range! The exfoliating is quite harsh, so you want to rub gently into your face! The smell is delicious and it definitely helps remove dead skin and open your pores! If you are wanting a deep cleanse and heavy duty scrub then this is ideal but would not use it every day!
Tips: I use this once a weak as it is quite a deep clean, apply gently as well as quite coarse
Worst thing I did for my skin it made it all dry and sore and within days I was breaking out. It couldve been that I was scrubbing to hard but despite that it still destroyed my skin. Would not reccommend.
Tips: dont scrub hard?
My early teens were most definitely an experimental stage when it came to skincare and haircare. A lot of prototypes of "make your own at home" Face masks and hair masks were done at the time. And it was my time to explore drugstore brands (as it was all I could afford :)
However, from what I have learnt through years of research is that a lot of large particle scrubs should not be used for the skin. E.g St Ives (Especially if you have sensitive skin like me)
I must have been 15 when I first bought this product and at the time I was not prone to breaking out. But Man did this lead to some serious acne and rashes. I was heartbroken, especially after seeing the good reviews.
Tips: Many scrubs contain particles that damage the skin by disrupting your natural skin barrier. It is recommended (By research, I personally don't have any qualifications) to use exfoliants that don't contain particles but instead, chemical exfoliants (I recommend Paula's choice, inky list and some of the ordinary products) as they work to deeply clear out pores from debris and skin cells without physically scrubbing away your skins cells. They have done wonders for me. But of course every skin type is different :)
I remember using this product as a teen. And decades later, I’m still using this product. It never fails to gently, yet effectively, remove the grit off my face and leaving it feel polished. They’ve got a lifetime customer in me.
Tips: Use it regularly but don’t overdo it.
This is one of my all time favourite deep cleaning exfoliant. The price is good, the product size is good and a little goes a long way. If you are not into that ‘scratchy, scrubby feel’ this is not for you. But I love that deep microdermabrasion style of deep exfoliation and St Ives delivers. The smell is pleasant, and it is super easy to use. My husband also loves this, and we have one under the bathroom sink and one in the shower.
Tips: Don’t press too hard, it is a course product and with too much pressure you can cause inflammation. I sometimes use it with a brush, or stoke lightly with circular upward motions to really polish off the dead skin. Also, rinse thoroughly, as the wee beads can really stick!
Hi Beauties, I have used this product since it first come out on the market. It has never done me wrong, it is a nice scrub that makes my face feel soft, fresh and revitalised x
I love a good facial scrub. This one has a thick texture and may not suit sensitive skin so I would advise to gently apply the product if so. It works well on my skin and leaves it feeling fresh & smooth
Many reviews say this is too harsh for the skin but I keep using it. Just a little bit and only once a week or once every two weeks to get rid of any bumps or rough patches of skin when it's the winter months but also to clear my nose of any blackheads.
Tips: Be gentle and don't use it too often.
This is a great scrub to have in the shower. I use it four or 5 times a week to help with dead skin. Noticed a reduction in acne too within a week of using it.
