Tips: Only use nightly to clean your pores after a tough day
So good!
I love the smell of this both in the shower and afterwards as it holds for a long time. The exfoliating beads in the scrub makes your skin soft and feeling fresh. One of my favourite go to products especially in the summer after swimming in the pool and getting rid of the Cholorine or at the beach and getting moisture back into your skin
Tips: I have quite hard skin so go to town on my legs etc but on my arms where I am sensitive only small portions and light rub is needed
I have been using this scrub on and off for years. It always leaves my skin smooth and soft. I have never had any problems with dryness or skin irritation (I have slightly sensitive skin). It can be either a deep or gently scrub depending on the pressure applied.
I have been using this scrub for about a year now. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth. I use it twice a week or when i can feel dry skin on my face. It leaves skin very soft however, it is very harsh and sometimes hurts my skin as exfoliating material is very coarse and chunky. This is the only negative i have with this product.
Tips: Dont rub too heavily into skin as it begins to hurt
I have been using this scrub for years and although I have tried quite a few in between I always end up going back to this one. The apricot scent is nice and subtle. It is quite grainy so wouldn't recommend it for sensitive skin but is excellent for when you need a really decent scrub to get rid of those dead skin cells. This is a really good price and is available at the supermarket so is excellent value for money. I use this only every other day and I find it a bit harsh to use daily, but is your call depending on your skin type. Overall a great scrub and I always have one handy in the shower.
Tips: Keep it away from the eye area, no fun when the granules get in your eyes
I absolutely love the St Ives Apricot scrubs range, I never feel quite right without using it at least twice a week. I wouldn't recommend using it more than that though especially if you have sensitive skin because it is quite a rough scrub. It is very exfoliating and leaves my skin so soft. I struggle with big pores and blackheads around my nose and I find that this scrub cleans that area up really well - if using on this area use a very light touch! it can be very harsh if used incorrectly.
Personally, I struggle with moderately oily skin and black heads on my nose - so I love this product!! It has an intense scrub (so probably not appropriate for sensitive skin) so really cleans deep, getting into those pores and removing that dead skin. You are left fresh, smooth skin :) If you do have normal to dry skin, you will definitely want to moisturise as it does leave the skin a bit dry. I have/will be repurchasing :)
Tips: Use at night then lather face with moisturiser to wake up clean and soft :)
I've used this product for a while now and I find it to be really good and exfoliating away dead skin, particularly in summer when in the sun and swimming alot. It doesn't flare up my psoriasis but it a very gritty scrub so I only use it fornightly or one a month. Smells amazing too and your skin feels soo soft after
Tips: Great for summer use to keep skin glowing
It does work wonders as a physical exfoliator, and if all you're looking for is pure brute force you can stop your search here. The problem with this scrub is the jagged little beads of apricot kernel. Rather than treating your skin to a gentle removal of dry skin they tear it off and cause irritation.
I find that after using this my skin is noticably smoother, but also more sensitive and definitely in need of moisture and a little TLC. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin, or who wants to follow a more gentle cleansing regime.
This face wash is the best I have come across. I have been using for about 5 months now and it leaves my skin feeling so soft. I loves exfoliating my T section and I kind of just gently scrub the rest of my face. My fave so far
