St. Tropez Purity Vitamins Body Mist

I was so excited to use this and really wanted to love it but sadly I think my personal experience was average. The packaging and scent is so gorgeous but I found the product a bit difficult to use and blend. I do normally go for a mousse or a cream so it could just be me. I couldn’t see where I had already been with it as it’s clear, it was hard to know how many sprays to use, it was tricky to blend out - I used the mitt and almost feel like it absorbed into the mitt and I was just rubbing on the skin and unlike a cream or mousse you can’t feel the smoothness where you have been as it’s a water and it dries down so quick so felt like I had to rush to know where it was going on. Although if you can get the hang of it it dries super quick, isn’t sticky at all you can hop into bed less than 10 minutes later with no transfer. The colour that it turns into is really natural and gorgeous but sadly for me was streaky for all the times I used it. And it definitely does last a week long but you could comfortably reapply after about 5 days as it’s starting to fade.- (it somewhat fades like a fake spray tan with tiny patchiness) Your skin does feel hydrated and glowy. I think for me I’ll stick with creams and mousses as it’s a bit less tricky.

Love the eye catching appearance of the packaging, love the fragrance, from my first and second experience with it I can't say I love the product **YET** But I belive practice makes perfect.

The tan I achieved with this was so subtle I was unsure if I had tanned at all, I'm very pale naturally and am used to dark self tan however this is very light, definitely not the medium stated. I found that the next day it was definitely better and it took the edge of my ghostliness.

The bottle itself I don't enjoy, it's quite difficult to spray down with this type of nozzle to cover the entire body, I believe a foam pump applicator would be better. I am used to tan with a bronzer in it so I did struggle to make sure I had covered every inch of skin.

I must say the fade down is perfection, and there was zero streaking or patchiness.

I tried spraying onto my skin and blending and also spraying onto the glove and found the latter a bit easier.

I am going to try again this weekend and do two coats to see if I can achieve a better result without it not looking natural.

Nice scent and doesn't smell overly 'tanny'

I was given this as part of a trial and it took me a while to use it as unfortunately I had multiple Surgeries so I couldn’t put anything on skin for a few months It came with the St Tropez mit (which I love nice and soft) I think il need to give it a few more chances but it didn’t sit quite right on my fair skin and the colour didn’t suit me and was a little uneven but maybe I could’ve done a better job at prepping my skin You defiantly need the mit so it applies evenly maybe I was too slow as it does dry pretty fast

What I love most about this product is the smell, it’s such a beautiful tropical peach smell - definitely one of the best smelling tanning products I’ve used. It is so light and not sticky at all and dries down really quickly so it doesn’t leave a watery residue on the skin. It really gives such a beautiful light golden tan and looks very natural. Would be great for someone with very fair skin or for those that prefer a lighter tan. I personally prefer a deeper tan so I used this product on top of my tan every day and it kept it even, and my tan lasted much longer than it normally would. I really love this product and have happily added it to my fake tan collection

Beautiful product.

Pros - easy application - no streaking - beautiful colour and buildable (I may have put one to many layers and ended up slightly orange but this was user error) - smells great upon application - quick results, surprised how quickly I saw colour - no mess - no transfer

Cons - still has the typical fake tan smell upon development - hard to tell where you have been for even application - not the cheapest out there but ease of use makes up for this

The spray was easy to use and smooth over for an even finish with the mitt. Its a very subtle and natural looking tan on my skin, I am fair skinned , this tan did not make orange. It has a lovely fresh and fruity smell unlike some other fake tan formulas. Love the fact its full of vitamins C & D and its cruelty free vegan. The bottle is made from recycled plastic, huge plus. I didn't see any transfer to sheets when after i used it at before bed another plus. Will use again over summer

This one was like a love hate relationship....The smell of this spray is devine it does not smell like the usual self tanner its so good but I just dont know if the sprayer is the best way of application, the spray is quite thin which is good but you can really see where you have missed and even while using the mitt its so easy to miss spots. I still love the product and if you can get a good even spray it does look really nice, its just so hard to know what you have sprayed and what you may have missed. I used this spray straight after shaving and usually everything I try on will give me little spots but this did not at all, the developed colour is really nice not orange at all and the formula of this spray does not dry out my skin anymore than my usual dryness which is also a win! I am going to continue to use this product because its actually really nice I just need to pay attention as to what I have sprayed and what areas need more. When I have missed patches I can spray those areas and they build up quite well.

This self tan comes in a tall plastic bottle with a spray nozzle. I found the spray nozzle and the position of it to be a little tricky to use on some parts of my body - just getting the angle right so I wasn't spraying my bathroom floor or walls instead of myself! The tan smells quite nice although does have that signature self-tan smell to it especially as it develops. I did need to wash the clothes I wore that day to get the smell off them. I really like the effect of this self tan - it's quite a subtle tan and very natural. It developed over the course of the day. Using the mitt with this spray tan meant that I didn't get any missed spots or streaks so my tan looks really good. I would definitely use again and recommend to friends and I'm sure I'll get better at angling the spray nozzle correctly with practice!

I do like this, but not as much as the st tropez mousse. It is easy to apply, but I didn’t like applying it wi the the mitt. When I applied with the mitt, it was patchy, but that was because I couldn’t see where it was going. When I applied with just my hands, it worked out better because I feel where it was going. It’s a natural and buildable tan. Like I put it on 3 days in a row, and it still looked good! However, this tan, I would use in summer when I want to add a boost and some extra glow to my natural tan. Overall, it is a good product but not my fav
