St. Tropez Purity Vitamins Face Serum

As a fair person who tends to go yellow from most tanning products, I was a bit skeptical to use the St. Tropez Purity Vitamins Face Serum, but I quickly learned that there was nothing to worry about!!! I would describe this as a smooth, gently fragranced serum that is a light and easily absorbed into the skin. I used 2 pumps for my entire face, it glides on seamlessly and leaves your skin feeling beautifully soft, after 6-8 hours a light, natural looking colour develop, no yellowing and no blotchiness.

Thank you Beauty Review for this trial. I really appreciate it. This is a product I have never used before so I was super interested in trying it. I was nervous and excited about using this serum because you have to be ultra careful when applying this, as it is your face and everyone will see if you are not too careful when applying. I used the mitt from the same brand to apply this serum to my face. I found it went on smoothly and evenly. I applied it in a certain way to ensure my whole face was covered. I applied some to the part of my neck that always has a light patch from when I have been driving into the sun. I was most impressed with the coverage. I felt I did a great job to get a nice even coverage. After applying, the colour develops over a 4 - 8 hour period. My skin felt soft and had a gorgeous healthy glow that has been missing due to our lack of a real summer this year. There were a couple of days that I actually went withiut a lot of make up. I was very impressed with the ingredients, 93% naturally derived ingredients and a lovely subtle scent. It is also vegan and cruelty free. The bottle is also recycled.

The facial serum is beautifully presented in a clear 50ml pump bottle with tropical tones and silver accents.

I do love being able to see how much product remains, however the instruction label was very small and very faint - I found it hard to read.

The serum itself smells amazing, like a peach cocktail. It is a clear gel like consistency, and 1-2 pumps is sufficient to smooth over the face and neck.

It absorbs within minutes, though the delightful smell remains and skin feels a little sticky for a short time afterwards.

I applied the serum before bed and noticed by mid morning a slight glow starting to appear. By afternoon my face definitely had an all over glowing bronze tint!

I was pleased to see the tan looked natural and even, it was not overly dark or orange and lasted approx 4 days.

It was easy to apply and such an outstanding result within hours - I feel this will be a staple in my weekly routine for a glowing boost and highly rate this product for facial tanning.

What a serum! Felt beautiful on my skin and smelt amazing , it gave me such a nice glow on my face. My face is naturally very very pale and this gave me the perfect colour that i felt comfortable to not need bronzer on on my makeup free days.

I love this serum, it has a really uplifting smell, like a tropical fruit punch. It made my skin feel so soft and it doesn’t leave a heavy sticky feeling on the face like some serums or facial tanners do. I prefer a darker tan so I wouldn’t use this product alone as it gives a very light natural glow. I used it underneath my facial tanning drops, as it was abit too light for my preference. This is a good product to use to top up your tan or help extend it. I really enjoy using this product and will definitely keep using it and also repurchase

I was lucky enough to be picked to trial this serum and the body mist. To be honest….I was scared! Lol. I normally never tan my face, because I don’t want to look like an oompa lumpa. However, this does not make you orange (than god!) - like the description says, it gives a subtle bronzed appearance. It’s very natural. I love the fact that it is a serum, as it’s light weight. I applied this every second night - 1 pump mixed in with my night moisturiser, and I am so happy with the result. It has given me a nice and healthy glow…it’s stunning! Another bonus…it didn’t break me out! Which normally happens when I introduce a new product.

I love this! I love that it's a hydrating serum rather than just a tanning product, so you're getting the best of both worlds. It's not patchy like other tan waters I have tried. It gives you a natural glow, so much so, that some days I don't even wear foundation, and I'm an Estee Lauder double wear kinda gal, so that speaks volumes! BUT it's a natural looking glow, which is perfect! And if it couldn’t get any better...the smell is just divine - which is rare with false tanning product.

Pros - super light didn’t feel greasy at all - beautiful colour (like serious glow) - colour was subtle but is buildable which is perfect for the face(no Oompa Loompa in sight) - great product to include in morning routine

Cons - don’t really have any to be honest - slight fake tan smell but not as bad as the mist

Absolutely in love with this serum. It feels like a luxury serum that also give a natural tan at the same time. The packaging is beautiful, it smells great and feels super expensive. I normally use a face tan water but I much prefer this as it is way easier to manage as a serum to apply rather than to try and quickly get tan water onto your face. It is one of the nicest serums I have used, it applies beautifully my skin feels instantly smooth, soft and hydrated and stays that way for hours. It gives a natural bronzed tan as well, I would say you could safely apply every two days as the tan seems to fade semi quickly especially with face washing. It does however fade evenly. I will 100% be repurchasing.

I have to admit to being a touch nervous trying this product. I could see self-tanning my face going very wrong, and unlike the body, it's a lot harder to hide a self-tan fail in that area. Luckily, I had nothing to worry about. This serum performed above and beyond expectations.

The scent is lovely, and there's no hint of the chemical self-tan smell I recall from previous attempts at tanning my body. It felt lovely on the skin and sunk in quickly. (I used by fingers to apply, rather than the mitt, just so I could get into the nooks and crannies.)

By the end of the day my face looked nice and glowy. I've been topping the tan up every few days and there's no streaks or patchiness to be seen. This is a must for winter if, like me, you miss your naturally sun-kissed skin.

This will last a long time, but I will definitely repurchase, and I definitely recommend.
