I’ve been searching for years to find a great, at home tanning product and decided to give this a go because of all the hype. I have REALLY pale skin and only ever burn in the sun so wanted to start prepping for shorts season. This was honestly one of the most disappointing tanning solutions I have ever used!
The product is a mousse, so is super easy to apply. I applied using a tanning mitt, although the small bit that got on my wrist washed off easily enough so you could probably apply with your hands if you were fast enough. It has a really nice coconut smell, not overpowering at all which is important since you need to let it develop for a couple of hours.
I waited the 10 minutes for it to dry fully, then let it develop for 2 hours for a medium tan. It was looking super promising until I rinsed it off in the shower and al the colour literally ran down the drain. My legs are as lily white as when I started, except for one tiny brown patch on 1 of my knees the same size as a $2 coin.
This product is sadly going to the bottom of my tanning container and I’m going back to spray tans! Wouldn’t recommend unless you want a tanning product that smells nice and gives you an excuse to sit around for a couple of hours.
Tips: As with any tanning solutions, always exfoliate first and helps to use a tanning mitt! Maybe leave for 3+ hours if you want to be able to see a golden glow.
