I stumbled across this moisturiser on my search for a natural ingredient based skin care line and fell in love with the scent immediately. I bought it and duly used it morning and evening as part of my regular routine in the harsh Auckland autumn/winter season. Initially I was thrilled as my skin seemed to be so much softer and more hydrated and some of the fine lines around my eyes and my smile lines were less prominent (or so I thought). During winter it was fantastic although it would leave me feeling a little greasy/shiny over my T-zone after a day at work, but it didn't put me off using it. I noticed after about 4 months (we're well into spring at this point), I had developed scaly, flaky areas over my nose and the pores on my nose and chin appeared more prominent, while my skin felt irritated and I got what I am assuming some form of contact dermatitis on my eyelids that were REALLY itchy and flaky. I get the occasional spot, especially while I'm PMS-ing but ordinarily they would clear up in a couple days, but while using this moisturiser it seemed to encourage those little suckers to linger for around a week minimum which was annoying. On a whim, I switched to the version of this moisturiser for sensitive skin and noticed the all of the issues that had sprung up since the change of season settled a little and my face felt way more comfortable and way less irritated, even the derm on my eyelids resolved a little (not completely as it still flares up when I use certain cosmetics, am stressed or come into contact with cheap jewelery) I decided that this was a good cream to have for the cooler months but was far too heavy/rich for me once the weather warmed up and that the lavender and citrus peel oils were probably quite irritating and caused my skin to develop sensitivities. A real pity because it smells like magic! This stuff lasts AGES and since it is so rich you can use it easily and comfortably as a facial massage cream if you have a bit of spare time/want to get a bit luxurious following a cleanse and tone. Overall a total bargain and a good moisturiser to have in your arsenal for the cooler seasons if you don't have sensitive skin. I will probably use this again intermittently when my skin feels a bit parched in winter as long as I keep it well away from my eyes and will use the rest as a hand cream.

Tips: -Definitely a cooler-weather moisturiser if you need something a bit heavier than your usual summer one.
i am fan of sukin range but not this one. i had really high hope for this facial moisturizer but turn out really bad. i don't have sensitive skin but after use i feel something different. this moisturizer doesn't do anything for me. it is said it for all skin type but i would recommand for normal and oil skin type not for dry skin. product comes in nice pump bottle which is i do really like it. i never ever bought again. smell horrible to. even my husband didn't like it.
Tips: not good for dry skin
I purchased this from Farmers as I had heard good things about this brand. I love that they also have products for sensitive skin as well.
The packaging is a small bottle with a pump lid for application.
The scent I can't pinpoint except by saying that it smells like your typical vegan moisturiser.
The consistency is slightly thick which I prefer. I love that this brand is 100% vegan and don't test on animals :) This particular moisturiser has so many amazing ingredients like rose hip, jojoba, avocado oils and more so is awesome for your skin.
I've been using this most morning for over two months now so the small bottle is great value for money as you only need a small amount. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy and absorbs nicely into my skin. I'm left with soft, healthy looking skin which is great.
I would recommend this product and look forward to trying more of the Sukin range.
I found this product to be fairly average. If you are looking for a natural product, without a hefty price tag, then this product is ok. But my skin still felt quite dry after using it.
Although i love every other sukin product I have used I don't like this moisturiser I found that it didn't moisturise my skin at all and some patches even felt dryer than they were before, I have combination skin but even my oily patches weren't feeling hydrated. Overall i was very disappointed with this product.
When I bought the sukin facial moisturiser, I bought it together with the facial cream cleanser and the hydrating mist toner. I thought that this product did an average job, it did not really blow my mind away. I usually have oily to combination skin with dry patches and though this product did help moisturise though dry patches, it was not a very outstanding product in my collection. I do enjoy the fact that the product is organic and that a little bit goes a long way as one pump is more than enough to cover my entire face.
Tips: Dont use more than one pump as that is definitely enough to moisturise your entire face
I purchased this from the pharmacy instead of my usual Essano moisturiser as they didn't stock it. I was told it was a natural brand that wasn't too expensive so was happy with that. It came in a pump bottle which I like, I find it very quick and easy to use in the pump and the packaging looks nice. I was surprised by the smell of it, it smells quite citrus, reminds me of a mixture of oranges and lemon and lime, smells very refreshing. The moisturiser absorbs into my face well and isn't too thick. It's a good product.
I love the Sukin products, i managed to pick up a tester from the online store. i felt this product in particular didnt give a blowing away feel. I have tryed better, but it did moisturise my skin nicely and the texture is really smooth and velvty.
I have been in search of a fab moisturiser for ever. My skin is sensitive, i don't really appreciate strong scents. The bottles are usually fumbly to use.. But this.. THIS... The bottle is a convienient pump that i can sit on my vanity and with one touch have a blob of white pure moisturising goodness. Only a small amount is needed and it glides on and soaks in really fast leaving my face feeling supple and fresh. The scent is mild so not overpowering and it is perfect following up from the foaming cleanser. At $14.99 a pump It is so reasonable too
Tips: Try all the sukin stuff. I can't reccommend it enough. I have also stumbled upon the fact they have also got a charcoal range. Watch this space. I am keen to try that too
I'm a loyal Sukin user and this moisturizer is perfect for my type of skin (sensitive and oily). Like all Sukin products, it doesn't have all the nasty ingredients in it which is becoming more and more important to me as I age.
The lotion is light and absorbs well - it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized but not greasy. Some facial moisturizers I've tried make my skin feel like it can't breath but not this one. The scent is fresh and nice but not too heavy.
I usually buy this from Healthpost for around $11 a bottle and it lasts about 2 months using twice a day. I wish it had SPF but that's a very minor issue.
Overall, love it!
