Do you know what I love about packs like this? You get to try several things for the price of one full sized item before committing to actually purchasing said item.
Two things i was drawn to in this bundle, the facial mist setting spray and the blush. What I ended up liking was much more. With everything being sample size I wasn't sure I was going to be able to form a good opinion or place a good review on each item. But can we talk about how generously sized the samples are?
The H20 hydrating boosting moisturize became one of my much loved items. My skin soaked this cream up like nobody's buisness leaving my skin hydrated and really healthy looking. I managed to get a good 2 weeks use applying it after my morning skincare routine from it.
The gel cleanser was 1 I didnt like. Well my skin didn't. Unfortunately for me I would get a burnt sensation around my cheeks when using this product so I stopped using it fast.
The mascara, my favorite out of the bunch. The formula makes my lashes incredibly long, fuller and it doesnt clump! You can't agree with those things. So much so i purchased full size!
The blush, I've been eyeing up on the website most of the year just couldn't justify the full sized price. I will admit I dont wear alot of blush it's either to pink or its dusty pink. Not this one! Its peachy. And its absolutely perfect for my skin tone.
The BB tinted cream. I wish I could give you guys something In regards to this product but I can't. I simply had no urge to use this product what so ever. I infact gave it away. Read the reviews below from the ladies who have in fact tried it :)
I bought this so I could try out a variety of Tarte products but also because I got into blush and I wanted to try out the deluxe mini of the blush. I would say this set is value for money if you wanted some skincare and makeup minis for a weekend away or just to try out Tarte. I'll start with the skincare items. I really like the cute funky design. None of the containers leak which is good because it's super annoying to arrive at your destination and find products leaked all over your makeup and other things. The gel cleanser is has a mild scent, lathers up moderately and is non drying. I don't think it's enough to last you a week especially if you use it twice a day but it's enough to last you a few days. The Tarte Rainforest 4-in-1 setting mist comes in a spray bottle that has a fine enough mist that it won't look like you got caught in the rain for ten seconds. There's enough in the bottle to do a few makeup applications. This is good as a primer and/or setting spray. I would recommend it as a toner since it does have a bit of stick to it, not a lot but if you touch your face after you spritz you will feel it. The H20 Hydrating Boost Moisturizer was one of my faves the gel texture reminded me of the blue gel Za moisturizer I really liked but you can't buy in NZ anymore. It has that same sort of mild scent as the cleanser. I don't really smell it after it absorbs into my skin which is really quick. It feels so hydrating and so light on the skin. I think it would suit both dry and oily skin. There have been times I've applied this and it's seemed to tingle a bit but most of the time it's feels really nice on my skin. The container so cute and I got about a week's use out this. I did consider repurchasing this when I finish the mini but I have plenty of moisturizers on hand at the moment. Tarte Tinted Treatment has really good coverage, lasting powder and goes on really smoothly. I have the shade medium and it suits my NC25 skintone. I would say it's only about 2% more tan than the Oasis BB cream in medium I regularly wear. It covers my redness, has buildable coverage and can take the place of a BB cream and primer. I'm considering getting the full-sized one once I use up more of my foundations and BB creams. Tarte Blush in Thrilled a really nice nude beige with a mauve undertone. It's fined milled enough that it doesn't look powdery on your face and it applies just as good on my cheeks when they are oily as when they are dry. It's a nice nude color that would go with most makeup looks. The mascara. I haven't used the mascara yet but it's always handy to have mascara minis since you need to throw your mascara every 3-4 months. So I do recommend this set. I think it's value for money and a good foray into Tarte products.
Tips: Keep the spray bottle and moisturizer containers when their empty and use them to decant your regular toner or setting spray and moisturizer so you can have travel sized products of your fave spray toner and moisturizer.
