This face cream has a lovely gel like consistency due to it containing aloe vera as a main ingredient. The rose fragrance and the fact that it melts into the skin rather than sitting atop of if makes it a joy to use as a night cream. I was sent this product as a BR product review and since I've started using it I've noticed that my skin has become more supple and hydrated. Definitely would use again!
I would rate this product 5/5 if it was packaged with a pump rather than a jar.
The skin on my face can be a bit temperamental so I wasn’t expecting to love this moisturiser too easily. I find I need a thick and creamy moisturiser that can really let my skin drink up some moisture but a lot of thicker, creamier moisturisers will also leave my skin oily and greasy.
The rose face cream is a lovely soft cream packed with moisture. I love that it feels thick and nourishing going on but isn’t heavy at all. Even with a generous layer it soaks right into my skin and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. I have also found it provides a good base under my foundation.
I really love the feel of this face cream. It has a good balance between a light and fluffy texture and a thick, nourishing formula which is great for me as I love the feel of lightweight moisturisers but my skin needs a bit more than they tend to offer.
The only thing I’m not 100% sure on is the scent. If you’re a fan of rose, then go for it. I tend to go for unscented or very delicate scents with my skincare so while this scent is certainly pleasant and not at all overwhelming I’m just not sure I want that much scent in a face cream.
All in all it is an excellent product from a lovely Kiwi company with a great philosophy towards producing natural products. I am very impressed with this product and will certainly be looking to check out more of the range, especially given how reasonable the prices are for a natural range.
Tips: Don't be scared off by the thickness - this cream does a great job of absorbing into the skin leaving it silky soft if you just give it a moment. Rub any excess (or go back for more) into your hands to share the love around and give your hands a treat too.
