This blemish stick was very effective. It eradicated every pimple I applied the gel to, and very quickly as well. It smelt nice, and didn't sting. Because it was so effective, there was no need to carry it around, but it does come in a convenient small tube, which would fit easily into any bag. The wand of the blemish stick made application simple, except it does not seem very hygienic to use the same wand and place it back into the tube with the product. The tip has gotten a bit murky from use which could mean that this product may need to be thrown out and/or replaced before the gel has been all used up.

Tips: Carry it around in your handbag so you can apply it to pimples before they have fully erupted.
I use this product on blemishes that are larger or sore and need some extra attention, and it helps to reduce their appearance overnight. This is great when I need a pimple cleared up by the weekend! It reduces the longevity of the pimple, and if applied early enough, it can prevent it from getting to the point where it's a mountain on your face! In saying that, this product is not a miracle worker! You have to apply it quite frequently to the affected area for a couple of days until you see a difference. But it's still a great product, and combined with the rest of the Thursday Plantation range, it's great at fighting acne. It also comes in a tube with a wand applicator which is easy to use, and you don't have to get any on your fingers!
Tips: Apply this product twice a day if you want to see your pimples disappear more quickly!
First off, I couldn't make out any difference between this product and the Tea Tree Medicated Blemish Gel, I honestly think this is the same product just easier to pop in your handbag for on the go application. I applied to the really bad blemishes I had on my face, but I can't say that it did anything drastic. I do like that it's an invisible gel that absorbs/drys very quickly, and the container is great for applying it without touching your face with your fingers.
Tips: Unfortunately this range of products as a whole, didn't work for me. It seemed to enrage my skins blemishes further, and within one week of stopping use of the products my skin was a lot clearer than when I was using it - although still blemished :(
I liked the applicator on this product, it made it really easy to apply to specific blemishes. This went on quite cold, and had an almost sticky texture. It felt cooling and soothing on my skin when I put it on, but overall, did little to improve my blemishes. I really liked the smell, and would rate it more highly than the Thursday Plantation Gel as it did dry my blemishes out slightly more. Although I enjoyed using, and would like to continue using organic ingredients, I probably wouldn't buy this product again as I did not find it as effective as medicated products on my acne.
I didn't see any noticeable change to my skin at all from using this. It wasn't a whole lot different to other products i've tried. It didn't cause me to break out or anything but it didn't make any changes to the blemishes on my skin unfortunately
This product had a sponge applicator which was great for treating individual spots without having to use your fingers and transferring more bacteria to the source.
The smell of Tea Tree Oil is quite strong as it was through the entire range of products, however the name indicates as such so users shouldn't be too surprised when purchasing the items.
Overall the results were good. It was quite cooling on the skin on initial application and didn't irritate or aggravate the spots (thank goodness).
I wouldn't exactly call this product a miracle treatment however it did help sooth sore spots and with persistent application it did help reduce spots within a few days, but when you have a large cluster breakout it didn't seem that effective, and using it on a lot of spots felt quite unhygenic.
Tips: A great product to keep on hand for those nasty spots that rear their ugly head a few days before the weekend or an important date!
I dont put much faith in blemish sticks (I'm usually a bit of a cheapo and naughtily just use toothpaste :p) but this product has opened my mind a little bit to the idea of paying for something like this. On every blemish I put this product on, it would definitely reduce the redness/swelling. Blemishes would take two days at the most to completely disappear. For me The most appealing aspect of the blemish stick is its use of completely natural ingredients! Would definitely use this again - really effective and literally have no complaints. The only thing is that you would probably not be able to use this during the day because it is quite a shiny/sticky looking and quite obvious on your skin.
Tips: Apply it on your blemishes before you sleep and let it work its magic overnight. I find it is too thick to use during the day.
This product comes in a 7ml tube with a wand applicator that makes applying the invisible gel so effortless! The gel definitely does what is says which is targets blemishes and breakouts. You see definite results after the first use, however the scent of tea tree is a bit overwhelming and the packaging is a bit bland/plain but you get used to it after a while. Overall a great product that does what it says and I would recommend this to anyone who is having problems with acne.
Tips: Size if this product makes it so versatile to have in your handbag/purse for those unexpected breakouts and with the invisible gel no one would know you are wearing it!!
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Blemish Sticks are my pick for a blemish stick.
It comes in a tube with a wand applicator which you then use to apply the substance to the blemish.
The smell is a little strong at first if you are not used to the smell of tea tree, but I think it is fairly mild and easy to get used to.
When applying to blemishes I did notice that a thin dried layer did remain over the blemish, but other than that it absorbed into the skin and it also dried on the skin quickly.
I have had my blemish stick quite a long time and still have plenty left. However, I have noticed that over time it has become less effective, so possibly a new one is in order.
Tips: I carry mine in my handbag as just another part of my everyday make up kit.
I love the applicator stick. At first I thought I would cross contaminate, ie you have just wiped it across a blemish and you put it back in the tube?? But it turns out it was ok You can never be scientific about if something like this is making a difference but I think blemishes were halted in their tracks, ie didn't get any worse, and probably cleared up faster than usual.
Tips: Applicator lets you achieve just a fine layer Best for zapping at early signs of a problem
