Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Face Cream

I was a little disappointed with this product and unfortunately i have almost the whole pottle left. I used it for the first week and just found that after using the cleanser and toner that it made my skin so greasy that if i put make up on over it then it just melted off after a couple of hours. If I didn't put make up on, I'd still have to wipe the shine & greasiness off during the day. So I stopped using the face cream but continued using all the other products and it was perfect after that. I did use varying amounts of the face cream to gauge it, but no matter if I just used a pea size or a 10c size, it still did the same thing :-(

Lightly fragranced and light to touch. I'm an Olay girl usually and in comparison this felt "thin" like blue top vs skim milk. I doubted it would be enough on my old skin but it was in combo with eye cream. I tried it under make up a few times and it was ok but because it doesn't have any sun screen I stopped using it during the day

When I first saw this product, I was slightly worried as it has a very thick consistency and many moisturisers/face creams I have tried have clogged my pores and made me break out. I'm pleased to say this one doesn't! I tried wearing this during the day under makeup, and it does feel a bit heavy, so I'll usually put it on at night before bed. In the morning, my skin feels great, although as a standalone product, it doesn't really do much for acne. I think its a product you'll need to use along with the rest of the range. Acne products tend to contain ingredients that dry out your skin, but this face cream prevents this from happening. In saying that, I do find that I don't use this product every day as I have quite oily skin, so its not a necessity for me.

I actually really liked this face cream, I was expecting it to lack moisture but it made my face feel soft and hydrated. It also absorbed into my skin really quickly and didn't leave it feeling greasy. I don't like the smell of tea tree but this did have a mild smell to it after applied, although I did seem to be oblivious to it after 15 odd minutes.

This face cream had a rather thick texture when applying it, which I personally did not enjoy. It felt quite thick while on the skin, although never felt oily which was a bonus. Although I personally like a lighter moisturiser, this would be well suited to someone with combination/oily skin who likes to use quite a heavy face cream as it won't make you break out. I was happy that while using this product, my skin actually became less oily overall. However, I was not a fan of the strong tea tree scent.

This cream is a great moisturiser. It doesn't feel heavy or oily on my skin, and when I apply it before bed, I wake up with smooth soft skin! It doesn't apply thickly and can be smoothed easily over your entire face and is good my my sensitive skin as it doesn't irritate me anywhere, not even around my eyes. The smell is mild and not too overpowering, and it is in a small little tub that is convenient to carry around. The container, as it doesn't squeeze the product out, would also allow for me to get every last drop out easily. I would definitely repurchase this!

This face cream really because a necessity whilst using the range as some of the products really dried out my skin, and as this product is quite thick it helped hydrate my skin but I couldn't use it under foundation because 1. It was quite strong smelling and would make me feel a bit nauseous throughout the day and 2. It was quite heavy and you really need to give it time to absorb fully before you can apply any makeup. It became more of a night cream. It did make my skin feel soft and hydrated, but it almost felt like it's only purpose is to combat the severe dryness caused by the medicated gel.

Okay, so I trialed this product along with the rest of Thursday plantation's skin care line. And this is hands down the gem of it! If you have bad acne, definitely give this a try. It's non comodegenic, which means it WILL NOT clog your pores. I used to have to use many other oil free, non comodegenic moisturisers because I get the craziest break outs otherwise. This moisturiser can be slathered on (although you need quite a small amount for your face - will last you ages) without worry. Also kept my skin soft and supple without ANY oiliness, something I've Never been able to rectify with moisturisers! It smells refreshing, is completely worry/guilt free to use, and 100% will be using this again.

I have been using the 3 set steps and the face cream is such a great moisturiser. My skin feels really fresh and it gives it a great glow. Have been using the set for a little while now by far these products have worked out of all the others I have tried. This face cream by far the best. It does what it says it would plus i love the tea tree scent of it as well. Leaves my skin feeling fresh and not feeling oily as others have.

The cream smells a bit strong and feels slightly heavy (thick) on the skin. But it does give a cool feel and moisturises the skin.

As it smells a bit, I only use this at night whenever I use Steps 1 and 2.
