Thursday Plantation Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Toner

I have combination skin so this toner did dry out my skin and sting a little bit and make my skin irritated and scaly. I think it would be good for young skin or skin that gets oily. I liked that it was cheap and you could get it from your local supermarket, and I also like the tea tree smell that Thursday Plantation Tea Tree product range has. Tea Tree oil and Witch hazel is excellent for breakouts so I think it would be a awesome toner for oily skin but as my skin is combination and I do get quite dry on my cheeks, it just dried those areas out even more.

I've tried many toners to help clear up my clogged pores but many just dry up my skin without doing much. I have used 2 other toners and gave up on using them after 3 weeks.

After trying this toner, I'm happy to say that I've been using it for over a month and it's done miracles! I will definitely keep on using it for the time being.

I started off using it twice a day as I used my other toners (morning & night) but it dried up my skin. I didn't want to give up on it just yet as it seemed to be working! I put it down to only once a day (usually the morning but sometimes it's at night) and it stopped drying out my skin too much and it got rid of most of my clogged pores! One thing I noticed which amazed me is the fact that I saw the icky yucky things clogging my pores come out as I applied the toner! (I applied using a thin cloth as I didn't have any cotton pads left). I usually apply after washing my face thoroughly with a good cleanser and warm-hot water to open up my pores.

I recommend this to anyone with oily skin or clogged pores (I have combination skin and it didn't dry out my skin too much when I used once a day followed by a moisturizer 30 mins later). If you have really dry skin I would suggest to try on once and wait a couple of days to check for any irritation. Also follow up with a light moisturizer.

The only thing I dislike about this toner is the packaging, sometimes it pours too much and it goes to waste. It would by much better as a spray bottle. I have half the bottle poured into a spray bottle and I use that when I'm in a rush and still does a great job!

Also, One bottle lasts a long time if you use carefully so for the price, it's an AMAZING DEAL! I got the bottle for sale at $8 from an online retailer.

I got this for only 9.99 and for the price it is the best toner I have used. Most toners do nothing for my skin but this feels like it is working. It makes sure my skin is extra clean to prevent pimples and helps dry up existing acne.

I managed to pick this product up from the local pharmacy, I was so eaer to buy, I found that it did help towards acne on my skin but applying it did feel quite irritating and stung my skin, i also found it to dry my skin right out no good

Picked this up from the pharmacy one day as it was on sale. It was a good buy and I have used this a few days every week.

During my first try, it stung my skin a bit. But the sting went away afterwards. I have terrible acne and this toner did help to make the pimples less red. My skin also feels much cleaner and cool - doesn't dry the skin. It's very refreshing.

As it does give off a slightly strong smell, I only use this at night before bed time.

I brought the Thursday plantation set and i really see the results. The toner leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft. I recommend using the moisturizer after it because it can leave your skin feeling dry...It did for me when i forgot to moisturise I love the Thursday Plantation products and find that they really do work. I haven't seen much of a result of my minimizing my pores. But i does leave my skin feeling softer.

This toner actually works! It keeps my skin from getting oily during the day (I suffer from quite oily skin) and really improves my skins appearance. However, I didn't feel like it minimised my pores, only calmed my skin after using the tea tree oil cleanser. Regardless, it makes skin feel smoother and squeaky clean without being over dried! Kind of like the feeling of your skin when it's at a neutral and healthy state.

This product was one of the nicest ones in the whole range. Although the packaging was fiddly and a bit messy, it felt nice swabbing this over my skin after cleansing off my make up. It felt like it really cleansed the last traces of the face wash and any makeup off ready to moisturise.

Again, the scent is quite strong however I really felt the soothing properties of the Aloe Vera.

As someone who had not previously used toner, I found that this product did offer some benefit to my skin. The toner seemed to even my skin, by drying out certain more oily patches of skin without drying out all of it. The consistency was good and I liked that it didn't feel oily on my skin. The only downsides were that the flip top bottle was prone to leak, and that it smelt more like a cleaning product than the smell of the wash, which I really liked. Overall, it was a good toner which helped to even out skin tone.
