Must have for the medicine cabinet!

I was pleasantly surprised by this product! First off, it has a kiddie-lock lid so curious little hands can't open it, second, it has a little opening so you don't accidentally drain half the bottle onto one cotton ball! I used it on a blind pimple to start. I found it to be really light, and a teensy bit was more than enough. It absorbed right in and didn't leave any oil slicks like i thought it would (I have quite oily skin). Best of all, it took the pain out of the pimple! After 3 days of regularly dabbing it on, the pimple was actually gone!(Yuss!) The only issue i had with this oil was the strong smell, but honestly, after 5 minutes i couldn't smell it at all, and now i'm kinda used to it! Don't be misled by the small bottle either, a little bit goes a long way, and it's def' affordable! I'm using this regularly now, and would be happy to recommend it to a friend!

Tips: We also put a few drops into our kids shampoo when we wash their hair, as a deterrent for head-lice!

Why Have I Never Bought This Before?

All week I have gone tea tree oil crazy. Any little niggle or household problem has warranted a google search to see if this amazing product can help. Generally, much to my delight, I've found it can!

My main motive behind wanting this trial was my poor long suffering scalp. For probably a decade now I've had the annoying and often embarrassing problem of dry flakey scalp. I have tried just about every product for dandruff before I realised that it wasn't dandruff at all but dryness and they were making it worse. Products designed for this haven't worked at all either. I have had some limited success with olive and coconut oil but only enough that I usually use them The night before a salon visit to save the horrifying conversation the hairdresser inevitably has with me about how dry my scalp is (as if I'm not aware of this).

I have been meaning to try tea tree oil for a long time but have never got around to buying a bottle. This week I can happily report that after mixing in a drop with my shampoo days later I still have no flakes. Words cannot express what this means to me, it's going to be life changing if this is a permanent solution. No longer will I have to check my shoulders when I wear dark clothes for specks, no longer will I have to do a "part check" before I leave the house to make sure there aren't visible flakes.

I have also been using tea tree oil for a multitude of household uses. I absolutely love the smell can't get enough. * I added a few drops to the mopping water and left my whole house smelling fresh * I use cloth nappies on my daughter but of late they've started to have a slight ammonia pong to them. A few drops added to the wash has cleared this right up. * A teaspoon added to a spray bottle of water can be used to freshen and sanitise surface in the bathroom and kitchen, again leaving those rooms smelling fresh.

I LOVE that the smell isn't overpoweringly chemically.

Tips: So so many. Far too many to list. Google for yourself "tea tree oil uses" and buy a bottle of this. It's so handy to have it's definitely a staple in thsi house from now on.

Must have for any household

Thursday Plantation's Tea Tree Oil is a great product.

The bottle comes with a fitted dripper to limit the amount of product - which is great, because too much tea tree can be a little overwhelming on the nose!

It smells sort of like camphor and menthol - it's not unpleasant but it does pack a punch.

The price is great considering how far a drop can go and the bottle size makes it easy to pop in your handbag for on the go tea tree emergencies!

My first bottle was stolen by the hubby when he went camping (at first he deemed it a 'hippy' product - until he realised how many uses it had, and how good it was at what it did!), so now we have one at home and one in the car medical kit at all times.

Tips: - use in your vapouriser (or crock pot!) in lieu of vicks when you have a chesty cough/congestion - mix a couple of teaspoons of TTO with a couple of mugs of water in a spray bottle. It's a great kitchen and bathroom surface cleaner - dab on insect bites to kill the itch

Wow

I have never used this product product onnanything other than for the protection from re infestation of head lice. Ive had a sore on my eye for over 6 months, as soon I received this product in the mail I applied it to the eyelid. Being very careful not to get in in my eye! After 3 days of either 1 or 2 apps, the "growth" had shrunken in size. My son had a sore up his nose which he gets every so often and usually hangs around forna week or so. 3 applications of tee tree oilmand it was gone. Lastly my son hav a sore on his knee and it never became red or infected.

Tips: Try it on everything, not just prevention of head lice.

NIT'S be GONE!

Being the Mother of a 9 year old girl, Nits are the bane of our life. Just like cleansing your skin or washing your hair, nit control just seems to be an ongoing part of our life. Of course everyone has an opinion on what works and what doesn't however even when the scratching is gone, you can't get comfortable for too long. I've found this little bottle to be invaluable in our ongoing quest to be nit free. Once she's shampooed and conditioned her hair, I put 4-5 drops of tea tree oil into some water and comb through. It definitely acts as a deterrent.

Tips: I also put some drops in the shampoo for a double whammy.

Great, versatile product for a great price.

I've never used pure Tea Tree Oil before I've only used it as a main ingredient in skin care ranges when I was younger, mainly when I was suffering from spots.

The packaging is fine - a sturdy glass bottle, with a convenient dropper so you don't use too much product (more about that later)

It smells strong, but not unpleasant.

I received this at the right time - 1 day later a huge blind spot appeared on my chin, annoying for two reasons; 1, date night was looming, 2, nothing more annoying than an unsqueezable.

So I applied tea tree around 3 times a day - 2 days later the spot was no longer red, and it never produced a head. Good times!

Overall - this is a fantastic product. And so cheap - for how little you have to use it will last for ages!

Tips: Don't use too much - seriously 3 drops of this is enough in a bucket of water to mop your floor! I used about 10 drops the first time - my house smelt so strongly I had to have the doors open! (That being said this is a kick-booty addition to your cleaning range, diluted in water it's a fantastic surface cleaner too) This is great for drying up spots - I like to put a drop on the end of a cotton bud and press to the spot. Expect the sting!

I've never thought of using it for cleaning (or mold as suggested above). Interesting.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree oil

Always have a bottle handy! Great for bites and stings, grazes, minor burns, minor infections on skin and cold sores. I always dilute it especially if using it on or near the face

Tips: Keep away from eyes and noses in undiluted form

First Aid in a bottle.

A must have in the first aid kit. Great for preventing infection in cuts and grazes. I use it on my feet after showering at the gym to prevent fungal infections. A couple of drops in conditioner help deter those pesky head lice. Highly recommend :)

Effective!

GREAT product, by far the leader in Tea Tree oil in my opinion. I use this on really bad break outs & although the smell is quite overpowering, the results are brilliant!
