I've been using the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Body Wash for about a fortnight now and I am undecided if I like it or not, or if it is actually benefiting my skin.
Firstly the smell, I didn't know why but I didn't think the scent of tea tree would be so overpowering, at 4.30 in the morning its quite nauseating and off putting, so I don't spend long with it on the sponge/puff. The little bumps on my arms (the little spots under the skin) have remained, and the odd blemish elsewhere has crept into play over the course of the fortnight. It hasn't dried my skin out which is a positive, nor has it irrated anyway, in fact my skin does feel overall very clean. Packaging wise, its quite plain but efficient and gets the right amount each squeeze to cover you head to foot.
Perhaps I was hoping too much from the body wash, but its not sitting well with me, the smell mainly, it makes me feel as if I have had a clinic shower with the hospital smell lingering. Surprised me though as I use tea tree oil in its raw form all the time for house cleaning.
I use certain body washes as I have keratosis pilaris and get the occasional body breakout and after using around half of this product for about a 10 days I broke out on my thighs and buttocks, will not use again. I don't know what it was about this particular product because I enjoy Thursday plantation products just not this body wash
