Thursday Plantation Rosehip Oil

The size of this product works well for me, I've been using it on my face daily for about a month and a half and I estimate I've gone through about a fourth of the bottle. It smells a bit like cod liver oil but I've gotten used to it. I use 4 drops for my face as with less I find it really hard to spread it around. Rubbing it between my hands for a bit to warm it up also helps. I try to rub it in to my face with upward motions, it feels oily like I've used too much but it skins in within about 5 mins and my skin feels warm, supple and soft. I haven't noticed much scar repair, but maybe a very slight fading in redness. I've used it on stretch marks too and after a long while some of them have pink and look more faded than the rest. It will probably take a long, long time to fade them all, but I know it works. I definitely recommend it.

I recently discovered rose-hip oil and after finishing my first bottle (which was a different brand) I decided to give this one a go as it is super affordable. I use this on my face morning and night but love how multipurpose it is and have read great things about its scar reducing qualities which I am yet to test out.

I'm not a huge fan of the scent of rose-hip but have become used to it and don't mind considering how fantastic this makes my skin look. I have dry sensitive skin and this does wonders for preventing my dry patches that randomly appear on my face. In my experience it has really brightened up my complexion, dull skin be gone! The only thing I don't like about this particular brand of rose-hip oil is the bottle. The dispenser is a bit hit and miss and messy to use but I simply transferred the product to my old bottle which has a dropper (which I find makes it far easier to dispense a controlled amount of product, mess free). For the price and results this is a must have for me and something I would recommend to all you want soft, youthful healthy looking skin.

I've been using this with micro needling / Derma roller to reduce stretch marks, so far the thickness has reduced and the redness is fading - could be either of both products there though . But my skin has become amazingly soft using this product so I started using it on my neck and chest and shoulders too .

My skin is so soft and looking really even , I sometimes react with psoriasis with some products but this one is fine , no reactions .

I also like the bottle , it had a pouring control on it so only a little comes out at a time which is awesome as you need only the smallest amount of this product .

When i first received this product i was fairly sceptical about whether it would actually do anything or not, as I've tried many many products that claim similar things. However, I was pleasantly surprised!

It is a really nice product, with a nice oily consistency. It has a ridiculous amount of uses! I used it on my nails after i took my acrylics off and they helped to strengthen them! I also used it all over my face and it was really moisturising! Would recommend putting it on at night and sleeping with it on! I also used it on my stretch marks (jury is out as to whether it does anything or not because it hasn't been long enough to see results).

You only need a tiny little bit on your finger to use! It comes in a little bottle and you just pour the product out the top - It would be nice to be able to control this a bit more but its not a big deal overall!

This is a really good product and i would definitely use it again for hydrating my skin! Really lovely!

This is a lovely product which has helped to soften and even my skintone and is working to reduce stretch marks and scarring. I have been using this for a week, applying twice daily as recommended and i am already impressed with the improvements to my skin. It has a lovely natural smell, and which is easy to rub into affected areas. It soaks into your skin within minute, meaning you can apply it them put on clothes over top without having to wait around. The bottle suggests that you apply Rosehip oil twice daily, especially after a shower when skin is still slightly damp for best results. I have a number of friends who use Rosehip Oil to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scarring. Everyone I know who uses this product has been thoroughly impressed with it! I was once told a bit of rose hip oil on some dry skin makes all the difference. And boy does it! I've put it on my skin after my shower everyday for a week and my skin is GLOWING. I'm in love. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a good oil. Hoping to also see improvement in my scarring as well but it's too early to see yet

25ml bottle. The packaging would have made me have a second look and actually read what the product was about. I loved the colour and that it stated it was 100% pure, no additives. As stated on the front of the bottle it may help improve fine lines, wrinkles, scars and stretch marks. I was particularly interested in the improvement of scars. As I suffer from eczema I have many scars on my hands, forearms and face. I used this as directed, twice daily, and began to notice a difference after only 4 days!! To begin with I found the smell a bit off putting as I suppose I expected it to smell a bit more like ‘rose’, but the aroma didn’t not stay and after a few seconds there was no smell at all. The application is very easy with a drip stopper so you don’t apply too much. You only need a couple of dabs to cover about a 5cm area so the bottle will last a very long time. It isn’t sticky or greasy but massages completely into your skin. I found this important especially when applying to the skin. I could also put my normal moisturiser on over the top and it did not affect the oil. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!! Scars lighten, frown lines fade and it is all natural.

LOVE! need i say more? well of course, it is incredible how one completely natural AND organic ingredient can be so amazing! i have super sensitive skin so finding things i can use on my face is more than a mission, but this, ahhhhh it glides on nice and rich and soft and soaks in quick, my skin has been AMAZING! i love putting this on my face every night after a shower, and in the morning too when i remember. i have also been using it on my stretchmarks and scars, and in just over a week i have noticed a slight improvement in some of my stretch marks!! and very exciting i cant wait to use it on my soon to be expanding baby belly to try and prevent any more stretch marks! (another bonus i dont need to stress about what nasty chemicals may be hiding that could harm and affect my growing bub) who needs bio oil,this stuff is the magic!! My skin has been so soft and actually less sensitive, i think the oil is giving it a protective barrier, it also moisturizes beautifully! and despite what you may think, even though it is an oil, no spots or pimples :) extra bonus! It has quite a rich thick oil scent to it, but i personally love that, i love how natural it is. so in love, i think is my new all over wonder product!!! i will definitely be getting more! i have tried other brands but this is by far the richer, thicker, smoother oil. Well firstly I must say. a little goes a long way. This oil is awesome. I Was using on my face, neck, arms, feet, legs and belly. Pretty much everywhere. It relieved all my dry skin, and reduced dramatically the aging wrinkles around my neck. I have also noticed slight chances to the appearance of wrinkles on my face. My arms were so dry. I am 48 years old, and I am already at the end of menopause, and it has taken its toll on my skin dryness. My arms are so soft now, and my feet especially. Aging is not cool, but so recommend this product. I was so delighted with the results around front of my neck, I couldn't wait to put more on. The smell, eh, not so pleasant, but who cares when it amazing stuff. I also found out that its good for the immune system, cardiovasuclar, and stomach complaints, arthritis and much much more. Do read about it I used a little over a half of the bottle, in that 3 weeks and it just will last and last for ages. I had the privilege of reviewing this Rosehip Oil by Thursday Plantation. I had used it sister product Tea Tree Oil and loved it, so had high hopes for this one, and it definitely lives up to its name.

Results - At first I didn't notice anything and felt a bit down about it, but I kept on using it as instructed. Glad I did, because my skin now has a slight glow to it and my skin, especially my cheeks have reduced in redness. Its a bit too early to tell regarding Scars but I have noticed a difference in reduced pores.

The Formula - This is a really nice formula, it comes out a mild yellow/orange colour but don't worry it won't come out like that on your skin, it melts into your skin and leaves it feel soft and radiant looking.

The Bottle - I'm not so fussed on the bottle dispenser to be honest because you have to shake it abit and sometimes it can come out a bit fast and flies everywhere lol. This is the only downside to it, other than that, the bottle size is just perfect, and handy to take away with you.

Final Comment - Definitely a great product and does it what says it does, which sometimes can be quite a rare thing. I believe with continued use, I will keep seeing good results. Will definitely buy this when this runs out.
