I started using this product on a few scars, and some lines on my face. I have a habit of breaking out, and I usually dab a bit of tea tree oil on my face before bed, if I'm worried. So, swapping tea tree for rosehip was new... But, I didn't think a week would really make much difference. I can't stand the smell, that was the first thing. The smell just reminds me of olive oil, but really cheap olive oil that is just branded "olive oil", and it was probably coloured castor oil. The feeling was okay, and my skin didn't react on application. But, after a week, I saw no real results. My face was a bit softer, the scars looked a little better, but I'm not sure if that's just hopeful thinking.

Tips: Try it for yourself, I guess?
While I do think it it works as i notice the change to the lines on my face. The Rosehip Oil is not for me I did not like the feel of it on my face, while I realize it is Oil I just felt like I was putting cooking oil on my face.
I do think Rosehip Oilis a great porduct as it seems to work well. Just for people who are not bothered by the feel of it.
I was excited about trying this product and was initially using it to help with acne scarring. I then found some stretchmarks and used it on them too. Even though the product is called Rosehip OIL, it's more oily than I expected. The lid on the bottle has a stopper so not much comes out, which is good and bad. I found that I had to shake it a few times upside down to get the amount I needed. It's quite a convenient bottle size and isn't bad for the price. However, the smell of rosehip oil is strong. Very strong. I used the product for a few days, only used it on my face the once as the smell was just too much, and then just on my legs. I stopped after 3 days as I couldn't handle the smell of rosehip oil anymore. I then waited a few days and thought "I must try that again", applied it once, again the smell was strong. I couldn't bear to try it again. So no noticeable improvement but I only used it for about 5 days. It's very oily and you need to wash your hands afterwards. The instructions say apply it to damp skin which is a bit of a pain but it doesn't really work if applied to dry skin. There was no skin reaction or anything like that which is great. Overall I personally wouldn't purchase again due to the smell of rosehip oil - it's too strong.
Tips: Apply it after showering, make sure you wash your hands after you've applied the oil, and be aware that your clothes may 'stick' to you where you've applied the oil
At first the smell was really off putting. It smelt like fish oil, not really something I was looking forward to putting on my face. The instructions left something to be desired, having not used oil before what is "a few drops" 1-2, 3-4,5-6? I put it on as requested morning and night. I have already oily skin so this did concern me a bit however it said it was fine to use on all skin types. after about 5 days of continual use my skin started breaking out and creating oil build up. I lessoned the times that I was applying it so Just at night times. Again it created build up (maybe i was putting it on the wrong areas??) but it didn't really say not to put it on any areas in particular just not on broken skin. I have now discontinued the trial and my skin has returned to normal.
Tips: I found it very hard to apply from when I put a few drops onto my hand (felt wasteful) so it may work better with an applicator.
Rosehip Oil promised to reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles. I do tend to use products sparingly so perhaps I didnt use enough but I did use this product twice a day for 2 weeks.
I used this product on my belly stretch marks from my pregnancy 21 years ago and on my face to reduce the appearance of crows feet.
I didnt see any reduction of the scarring on my belly which I wasnt entirely surprised at since I have used Bio Oil previously and given that my stretch marks are 21 years old.
I didnt notice any particular reduction in crows feet or forehead wrinkles but I will continue to use this product until my trial bottle has finished.
I was expecting a miracle product which failed to deliver so I am disappointed to a certain degree but I will continue to use the product until my bottle has finished in case it actually needs longer than the 10 day trial to see any improvement in my case.
I absolutely love rose hip oil and to be honest, most brands are exactly the same as they are generally all 100% rosehip oil. What makes each brand stand out to me is the packaging and this one wasn't the best.
I found that because this bottle didn't have a suction dropper but instead the more typical essential oil kind of packaging it was really hard to get out. Because of this I tend to use it mainly on my arms so i can give it a good tap against the skin. If you're all about using just a little at a time then this would be a great product for you but if you like to have more control and be able to dispense the amount you require each time i'd go for one with a dropper,
The oil itself is amazing, as I said its 100 % Rosehip so hard to go wrong. I apply this on any areas of dry skin or places which have scarring and it very quickly moisturises these areas and with use over a longer period clearly minimises scarring,
I love Rosehip oil now and don't think I could go without it. This should be a staple in every girl beauty routine.
Tips: Pick this up if you're after a cheaper version of the trilogy product and aren't fussy about packaging - they're exactly the same.
