What neat packaging this product has. The scent of this product was really nice as well. Consistency was different for me being a balm, but I got used to it. It was great as a lip treatment, and for those dry area like knees elbows, and feet, nails.

Tips: Warm in hands then apply to needed area.
This really reminded me of massage balm which i use at work just the smell was overwhelming. Would go great with candles and all that!I used it on my lips and had an oily quality to it..which isn'ta bad thing especially jojoba oil this can be used for anything. It is so natural it can be taken internally, oil is GREAT for lips. It did the trick soft beautiful lips. My partners suffering from really dry skin at the moment too I put it on his dry patches as it definitley made them smoother and over time hed see a great improvement.
The box it came in was beautiful, really eye catching this would make an awesome stocking filler for somebody! The major downside for me is the whole BALM pot...not really the most hygenic method to scoop your fingers in and out of it. Though could just buy a spatula if you were that pranoid about it. Overall it is one of those items I wouldn't go out and religiously buy for myself...just a little bit of luxury given to me by somebody! I was a fan of the smell though I could see it would be overwhelming for some people! :)
Makes a nice hand cream, lip balm, or moisturiser for very dry skin. Its ok as a general all rounder. Wouldn't rave about it, but its a nice enough product
Tips: Good for dry skin or lips
This was the first product I had used that could be used for multiple purposes. This is great as a handcream, for itchy bites and for massages. Didn't like using it for lipbalm or foot cream.
I think the tins are cute ( I have both the big and small tins). Smell is herbal, it's okay not my favourite scent. I like the idea of a multi purpose product. I picked mine up in an online sale. I like it enough, would probably repurchase if it was on sale.
Tips: Great for massages. Scoop some out into your hands, let your body heat warm it, rub hands together and apply.
First of all I loved the smell of it, it reminded me of a product my mum use to have which I loved. I used it for my lips which was great as it helped with the dryness and the consistency was good when using it for my lips. It was however not so easy when applying to other parts of my body with not much getting on my fingers. The product however was a bit oily which made me cautious of putting on my face as I have oily skin but it was great on the rest of my body.
We have a pottle of this sitting in our "family maintenance drawer" for easy access when we need it.
My first impressions of this product was that it was quite a hard, waxy consistency so it definitely had to be warmed before I used it. I mainly used it for dry areas like my elbows and areas on the backs of my hands and it did moisturise them.
I did not use it on my face or lips because I didn't find it very hygenic as you have to use your fingers to apply the product and due to the pottle packaging (no pump or small opening to tip the product out) you really had to use your fingers to scoop out the product.
Overall I prefer the Elizabeth Arden 8h cream which is a similar product but easier to apply.
I liked this and the fact that it is a universal product means it's perfect to keep in your bag for whenever and whatever! The packaging is simple and easy, and the texture is what you would expect of a balm. I found it easy to apply, and a little goes a long way. I don't think I agree that it is so suitable for the face or lips, possibly a little too greasy. And although the same scent as other Trilogy products, I found this slightly over-powering headache material if applied too liberally. I found it perfect for feet, knees/elbows, hands and cuticles.
This "everything balm" isn't really good for anything in particular, although I have found it is really good for cracked lips, and irritation around my mouth from my Fiance's fuzzy beard (which has now disappeared thank goodness). It also suits extremely dry skin and sunburn.
However, it is extremely greasy and it doesn't feel great as an all over face balm. The smell is a bit too fragrant too, someone said below it reminds them of massage balm - I agree!
Tips: Buy generic rosehip oil instead!
The balm is nice, feels really smooth on my lips with a honey like taste and scent. Only concern is that it doesn’t stay on my lips for long so I have to keep reapplying as my lips tend to dry up.
First of all the packaging - very 'natural' and rather plain which for a natural product I guess is pretty good but if I was buying for the first time, I have to admit it wouldn't get my attention. However the pottle inside was a total different story.
Opened the pottle up, excited to be trialing another great Trilogy product and the first thing that put me off was the smell. I'm afraid that it's just not a smell that's for me so I was quite hesitant about trying it. The balm was extremely hard to get out so warming first was an absolute must do and I was curious about trying it across my forehead as I have really dry skin there and I'm always looking for something that will eliminate the dryness. This product wasn't it. I did find it helped with dry elbows etc and other less sensitive areas but for my face this wasn't a product I would personally use again. However my friend tried it and absolutely loved it so it just shows how different we all are and how different products affect us in different ways
