I love this product and I do use it for everything from dry lips to insect bites have even tried on baby to prevent nappy rash and did a great job.
Tips: Don't let it get too hard
This product is very moisture intensive. A beautiful smell and perfect for a wide range of things. Dry face / skin Chaffing. Nappy rash Lips A glow on your cheeks ♡♡♡ Wonderful.
I've used this balm for a few years now and it's good for dry lips and any kind of scratch or dry skin you have. It melts into the skin super quickly and doesn't leave that greasy feeling. I'd probably buy it again if I ran out. One little tub lasts ages!
This product is great for emulsifying all make and really does remove it all, you do need to make sure you have another cleanser to use straight after to remove the balm as water itself will not take off all the residue, great product.
The Everything Balm by Trilogy claims to sooth, soften, and moisturise all skin types. It suggests that it is ideal as a lip and cuticle conditioner and an all round "beauty multi-tasker." I really enjoy balms and anything that is marketed as an all-in-one (because I'm lazy like that) so I was excited to try this product.
Firstly, the packaging gives an appropriate vibe for the natural product. I do wish that the jar was glass instead of plastic... but that's purely for aesthetic reasons.
The product itself is a natural remedy and suits well as something to carry or to travel with. It smells great and gives a medicinal vibe, which is what I want from a balm. The product is all oils and I like this aspect because of the staying-power. Beware though, some may consider this greasy.
I put this product on after a shower and compared it to my normal routine of moisturisers on my heels and elbows, and also popped some on my cuticles as the packet suggested. I really like how it compared to my normal routine and would certainly use this product again to combat dry skin.
However, I have a similar product that I will use as a lip conditioner over the Everything Balm... and the jury is still out on its success as a cuticle conditioner...
Tips: The product suggests that you rub it on your palm first to melt before rubbing on the problem area (this is part of the reason I will not use the product as a lip conditioner).
Let's get the bad out of the way because other than the smell this product is awesome. I feel like the Grinch that gave the 2 kiss rating :/
To me this smells very citronella-y, like one of those candles that ward of mosquitos! It does have 'Citral, Citronellol, Limonene' oils in it, and I'm not adverse to fresh, citrusy smells, but to me this was just a bit too much. I felt like the old lady who was trying to kill flies...so I wouldn't use it again but smell is a personal thing, which is why I would recommend it - the balm really is an everything balm -
I've probably not tried anything the other reviewers havent suggested - lips, elbows, knees, hubbie's hand calluses, feet etc. I resisted using it as a baby balm, simple because I've only used Paw Paw on my son's baby bum and I didn't want to risk a reaction. But the consistency and performance of the balm on the grown up Guinea Pigs definately suggest it'd be a great balm for babies.
I even tried a little bit on my hair. I've used Palmer's Coconut Oil Hair Balm so thought why not?! A teeny bit de-frizzed my hair and didn't weigh it down at all.
Overall this is a great product, and I will definately be checking out other Trilogy products - an environmentally aware company, with amazing packaging and products that do what they say they do. A blend that's hard to come by!
Tips: Use a foot file on dry feet before your bath/shower, then slather your feet with the balm, stick on some cotton socks, put your feet up for the night....in the morning you will have supersoft tooties!
This balm does everything is says, I tried in on my lips and it felt lovely and on my dry hands as well and cracked skin. It definitely moisturises and nourishes your skin so I would recommend it for that. My only issue which really is a personal thing is I didn't love the smell as it was just a little bit strong for me and I did struggle getting the balm out of the container. Once you do have it out you just warm it in your hands to use and it goes on smoothly. Even so I would recommend this to anyone who like to have a balm you can use for anything. Enjoy
This product was great! this is great for dry skin, as well as a massage balm (more excuses to get a massage!). The only thing i didnt like about this product was the texture, how it left my skin wet, great for some things- like massage, but not so great for others, especially when u need to apply it fast.
Tips: I used this product mainly at night to let it completely sink into my skin
I've purchased this twice online which is a testament to it effectiveness. Cased in a pretty decorative tin it has a wax like substance inside. Melts upon the touch. This has worked wonders during times of chapped or dried lips. Restoring the broken skin and allowing the new skin to be moist and supple. When my kids get bruns or chapped lips this is our go to. The effects are almost instantly.
