Trilogy Hydrating Mist Toner

I got this in one of the Beauty Review boxes. Trilogy is definitely one brand I like to receive. I haven't liked everything I've tried but most of them anyway. I also like that this is a NZ brand but it can be a bit pricey to buy from the store.

The packaging of this is really nice. It comes in a spray bottle which I love. It's also glass and is brown. I think being brown helps stop the light from detoriating it? I'm not totally sure on that one though. There is 100mls of product in this. Not a huge amount I guess but it will last a while. I use this twice a day and have been using it for around 2 months now and I'm just over halfway through the bottle.

I like to use this as a toner after cleansing, both morning and night. I usually do 5 sprays and that is ample enough to do my whole face and neck. It sprays out really find so I don't get large droplets of liquid settling on areas of my face. It also dries down pretty quickly two. Maybe 1 or 2 minutes. I've used this a couple of times during the day over makeup, it feels really nice but I don't see any difference in how my makeup looks after.

I do have very dry skin, but I can't say that I've noticed any hydrating effects from this. Initially when I spray, my face feels good but quite quickly after it dries down, my skin feels tight.

I like that this has good ingredients in it. Like the rose, aloe and lavender. It also smells nice too, a strong hint of rose but a bit of herbalness as well. I don't think I could bring myself to buy it at full price though. I'd maybe pick it up if there was some special deal on it but I'm not 100% sure on that yet though. I will happily finish this bottle up and I'm also considering keeping the spray bottle to put other toners in to use as well.

I love using this in the morning, or spritzing it on my face when I'm feel a little bit 'blurgh' or under the weather.

I've found this a great way to break up my skin care routine and I feel like I have felt a difference in my skin texture, I think that the spray formula is a lot more gentle on my skin, rather than applying my toner directly on my skin via a cotton pad.

With this being a trilogy product, the quality of the packaging is fantastic with their heavy brown glass bottle, and a quality spray nozzle that delivers an even mist.

I spritz this on my face and then apply my moisturiser and rose hip oil on top while my skin is still slightly damp from the toner.

I have used this mist toner a few times now. I bought some in duty free due to a domestic flight disaster with the toner I had packed to take overseas with me. This turned out to be a great decision as I was able to the carry this on to the plane with me. A few quick sprays during my long haul flight meant that my skin stayed hydrated. It also helped mask some of the ahem, rather nasty smells that wafted around me after a few hours lol.

The smell of this is just divine. It has a strong rose geranium scent that I have come to associate with most Trilogy products. Despite its strong scent, I do not find it irritating on the skin at all. In fact, it feels nice and cooling after cleansing. It would be great to use cooled in summer.

I've used this most recently as I received it in a BBBE. Despite the small bottle (a beautiful brown frosted glass one) it lasted me a long time. This is due to the spray on this bottle emitting a very fine mist, so only one or two squirts are necessary. However, I do still feel that this is quite an expensive product. Whilst it is lovely to use, like most toners, I don't think it really makes a huge difference to my skin. It's just a 'nice to use, but not entirely necessary' product. I'll be sticking to my cheaper toners (pure rosewater works just as well) but will be repurposing the bottle for those.

Love the trilogy range, im a big fan, they are a great all over body natural toner mist, keeping body nicely hydrated. I tend to use in my daily morning routine, couple sprays on face and arms, it has a beautiful scent azwell.

Another try from a BBBE, and I really love the smell of this toner. It is a nice pick me up in the morning, or before bed, as it smells like roses and is refreshing on the skin. I have unfortunately found that it causes me to break out when I use it on my face, so I now only use it very sparingly if my skin feels especially dry, and otherwise stick to use it on my chest/décolletage area. I personally feel it's quite pricey for a toner, and there are others for cheaper that are just as good, but if you have very dry skin and want to indulge, then this is for you.

I've recently become a big fan of this type of gentle, mist toner that can also be used to refresh your skin midday (not because I ever use it for that purpose, but because if it can be used for that purpose, it guarantees it is gentle enough for my sensitive skin). This toner from Trilogy did not disappoint.

Packaging-wise, the hydrating mist toner comes in a beautiful brown glass bottle with the usual Trilogy white and maroon sticker on it. The top is a black spray unit with a little cap to keep it clean when you're not using it. This makes it easy and hygienic to use.

When using it, the product comes out as a fine mist, so you can use quite a few sprays over your face and chest area. I have sensitive combination skin and this hydrated without irritating, Often I find Trilogy products too heavy for my skin type, but this is lovely and would, I believe, suit all skin types.

The scent was not prominent (I'm not a fan of strongly-scented products) and the ingredients are all lovely and nourishing for the skin. The price is reasonable for the size and quality of product you are buying. Altogether, this is a lovely toner that I would recommend anyone try.

Toner has never been something that I've gone out of my way to get, think about or really invest in - but I think it will be now.

I really like a deep cleaning cleaner and I find that these often dry out my skin. I can't get the balance right. Lately I've been spraying this toner on my skin after cleansing before bed. It's so easy to just sprits on your skin before going to bed and leaving my skin feeling great - like it's been moisturised but without any sticky or heavy feeling that I don't enjoy at night.

The smell is nice and soft - similar to other trilogy products if you like that scent. And the bottle is very easy to use. I spray it all over my face and then over my chest - it doesn't need to be rubbed in as it just soaks right up!

I would really recommend this product for people that are trying to bridge the gap between cleansing and moisturising. It's really working for me and I'm finding that my skin is not as needy for moisturiser throughout the day either!

Consistent with Trilogy's luxurious packaging, this toner comes in a dark, glass spray bottle. However, I'm not a huge fan of Trilogy's general glass packaging as you have to be very careful not to drop and break it in the bathroom, and when you're quickly trying to wash your face and get through your skincare routine, it can be a little annoying. This toner features a fine nozzle, so the spray comes out very lightly in comparison to other spray toners, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. I do find that I do spray myself a little more than I would with other toners because of this though. The toner itself smells gorgeous, you can really smell the rose and lavender in this product, which is probably what sets this product aside from others. It definitely has a soothing effect just from the scent! I think that the toner has a great cooling effect, making it great in summer and in the morning for a quick wake-me-up! However, I'm not sure about this product at this price point, I have definitely tried much cheaper spray toners with very similar effects.

I thought I would wait until I finished the whole bottle to review this - it lasted must longer than I thought it would. I bought this to replace an evian spritzer I had purchased overseas. When travelling I like to have a "water spray" to refresh me getting out of cars/trains/planes etc and this one delivered. I used it daily as a toner but I also used it to "finish my touch ups" when I was feeling tired and to perk me up when I need a lift towards the end of the day (yes I know that is an expensive habit). I have to admit I took it out of the bathroom with the hard surfaces and back into my bedroom as I used it so often and it was a glass bottle so I didn't want it to accidently break (I don't know how tough the bottle would be on a tiled floor). I used it often enough that my husband asked where was my "old lady water" which means he also picked up the smell of rosehip which to him is a reminder of turkish delight and he became familiar with that smell being part of my routine. I also used it on him before we would "face the day" in the warmer weather which worked well and we are definitely getting more for this summer.
