I feel this product is decent. I am not too fond of the scent as I aren't really into the rose scent. The bottle is made out of glass and so looks very expensive, I use this toner and it's easy to use as you can just spray it onto your skin and so does not require any cotton pads. The toner dries very quickly. However I am not sure whether I feel that this product hydrates my skin because of that

Really, I have no idea if this does anything hugely beneficial for my face. However, it smells incredibly lovely and makes me feel nice just using it. It is pretty expensive for what it is. It is occasionally offered as a GWP which is a great time to try it. I do think my skin feels smoother after using it! I love the glass bottle too.
I received a bottle of this in the BBBE. Instantly I was impressed by the heavy glass frosted bottle, which lends quite a luxe feel (although of course not ideal for travel!) I love toners with a spray nozzle, as I find I am far more likely to use them than a bottle where you need to tip the toner on to a cotton pad. This also means youre not wasting cotton pads.
The nozzle delivers a fine refreshing spray with a reasonably potent rose floral scent, although this does die down quite quickly. I have combination skin and so am generally not always looking for added moisture. However I have found that this is lovely to apply after I have used strident pads. I find my skin is quite tight after the use of these, so a couple of spritzes of this toner and my skin feels like it has been neutralised.
This is a lovely toner and I imagine would be absolutely perfect for dehydrated skin types.
I received this in the NZ BRANDS BEAUTY BOX. I was in need of a new toner and was thrilled to received this one as I love this brand and haven't had a chance to try this product yet. It is bliss! The Spray bottle is perfect. I have used spray toners in the past that saturate your face. This sprays just the perfect amount onto your skin which you can allow to dry naturally. The scent is so refreshing. I love breathing it in as I spray. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed, soft and moisturised. I would definitely buy this again.
This bottle came in my nz brands box. I normally skip this step in my skincare routine out of fear that my skin might have a reaction. My skin type is dry in winter and oily/ acne prone in the summer. I thought that this was a wonderful addition to the nz brands box. I was keen to give this a try for the first time ever.
This came in a sleek white box with easy to read labelling. I opened this to find a glass brown bottle that has a spray nozzle on it. This formula is liquid. It feels like water. Upon my first spray I can smell fresh roses. I was waiting for it to sting my skin but it didn't do that at all. Instead my skin felt hydrated and smooth. I apply my day or night cream once this has dried out. This didn't react with my other products that I use. I was relieved. Finally I add my serum on top and still there was no reaction with this. For the past two weeks I have been using it daily. I also like to damped a cotton tip to remove eye liner and it works well for me.
Whenever I see Trilogy I become excited because it is a New Zealand brand. After trying a series of products along with this one I haven't been disappointed at all. I think it is priced accordingly. From the packaging through to the product consistency I believe this is worth trying and is worth buying. I definately will be reccomending trilogy to my friends and family as a brand to try. I like that there is deluxe sized kits available to test these products out if you didnt want to commit to full size.
I received in the the NZ brands beauty box and have to say I'm highly impressed.
This isn't the type of product I would normally consider purchasing so very glad to have had the chance to try.
As with all trilogy products, it's beautiful packaged in a frosted brown glass bottle with a spray top. My favourite way of applying has been a quick spray all over my face, especially over those last weeks of summer when it was really humid. It's also proving beneficial in the cooler months when you have the air con pumping in the office and your skin can look really tired and dry after a few hours in those conditions. A spray of this and you're provided with instant hydration and a feeling of wellbeing due to the aromatherapy qualities of the rose, geranium and lavender.
A must for body and soul!
I got this in one of the Beauty Review boxes. Trilogy is definitely one brand I like to receive. I haven't liked everything I've tried but most of them anyway. I also like that this is a NZ brand but it can be a bit pricey to buy from the store.
The packaging of this is really nice. It comes in a spray bottle which I love. It's also glass and is brown. I think being brown helps stop the light from detoriating it? I'm not totally sure on that one though. There is 100mls of product in this. Not a huge amount I guess but it will last a while. I use this twice a day and have been using it for around 2 months now and I'm just over halfway through the bottle.
I like to use this as a toner after cleansing, both morning and night. I usually do 5 sprays and that is ample enough to do my whole face and neck. It sprays out really find so I don't get large droplets of liquid settling on areas of my face. It also dries down pretty quickly two. Maybe 1 or 2 minutes. I've used this a couple of times during the day over makeup, it feels really nice but I don't see any difference in how my makeup looks after.
I do have very dry skin, but I can't say that I've noticed any hydrating effects from this. Initially when I spray, my face feels good but quite quickly after it dries down, my skin feels tight.
I like that this has good ingredients in it. Like the rose, aloe and lavender. It also smells nice too, a strong hint of rose but a bit of herbalness as well. I don't think I could bring myself to buy it at full price though. I'd maybe pick it up if there was some special deal on it but I'm not 100% sure on that yet though. I will happily finish this bottle up and I'm also considering keeping the spray bottle to put other toners in to use as well.
I love using this in the morning, or spritzing it on my face when I'm feel a little bit 'blurgh' or under the weather.
I've found this a great way to break up my skin care routine and I feel like I have felt a difference in my skin texture, I think that the spray formula is a lot more gentle on my skin, rather than applying my toner directly on my skin via a cotton pad.
With this being a trilogy product, the quality of the packaging is fantastic with their heavy brown glass bottle, and a quality spray nozzle that delivers an even mist.
I spritz this on my face and then apply my moisturiser and rose hip oil on top while my skin is still slightly damp from the toner.
Tips: Be generous with the spray, you can never have too much of a good thing!
I have used this mist toner a few times now. I bought some in duty free due to a domestic flight disaster with the toner I had packed to take overseas with me. This turned out to be a great decision as I was able to the carry this on to the plane with me. A few quick sprays during my long haul flight meant that my skin stayed hydrated. It also helped mask some of the ahem, rather nasty smells that wafted around me after a few hours lol.
The smell of this is just divine. It has a strong rose geranium scent that I have come to associate with most Trilogy products. Despite its strong scent, I do not find it irritating on the skin at all. In fact, it feels nice and cooling after cleansing. It would be great to use cooled in summer.
I've used this most recently as I received it in a BBBE. Despite the small bottle (a beautiful brown frosted glass one) it lasted me a long time. This is due to the spray on this bottle emitting a very fine mist, so only one or two squirts are necessary. However, I do still feel that this is quite an expensive product. Whilst it is lovely to use, like most toners, I don't think it really makes a huge difference to my skin. It's just a 'nice to use, but not entirely necessary' product. I'll be sticking to my cheaper toners (pure rosewater works just as well) but will be repurposing the bottle for those.
Tips: A little expensive for a toner but nice for a treat.
I have never used a toner before, so I read online about what it is supposed to do. From what I can gather it is supposed to close your pores after they expand after washing your face or having a shower. I have large-ish pores in my T zone due to my combination skin so my initial reaction to the product was: GREAT! This sounds like it should help. I also read online that it could be used over the top of make up as a hydrator. I thought it was great as I could put it on during the day at work (I work in an air-conditioned office, so it dries my skin a lot). I began using it after my showers, a few sprits 30cm away from my face. It smelt amazing and made me feel very luxurious which a bad thing is never.I also started using it at work over my make up, but I found it made my mascara run- obviously if you put liquid on non-waterproof mascara it is going to happen, so this is entirely my fault. I love the possible uses of the product and I love the smell, however I’m not sure of whether it is actually doing anything. E.g. I’m not sure if it has done anything to the large-ish pores on my face, and I’m unsure if it has really hydrated my skin. I haven’t noticed any change…my pores are still big and I still have small patches of dry skin :/ I will definitely keep using it as it smells amazing but I’m not sure if I will repurchase as I’m not sure the functionality is there.
Tips: Use it over the top of make up to feel refreshed
