Trilogy Age Proof Line Smoothing Day Cream

I’ve had a deluxe sized 20ml sample of this cream, so was enough to see if I liked it enough to buy the full size. Definitely not the case, it’s just a light moisturiser, doesn’t do a lot, it was great under makeup and absorbs into skin fast as it’s a really light cream, but consistency and effects are the same I get from much cheaper moisturisers, it’s not really line smoothing, nothing really is to be fair, but it’s promising something it definitely doesn’t do, so that’s a negative in my opinion. I don’t think it’s worth the price they’re asking, there are a lot of other natural NZ brands out now that don’t ask for these high price tags. I think there was a time years ago when we didn’t have this many choices in this department, but now we’re over saturated and definitely don’t need to spend a fortune on natural NZ made products to get the same effects as this moisturiser gives.

I really like Trilogy as a brand and what they stand for but this product didn't excite me. It's a nice, lightweight, non greasy, moisturising day cream but that's all. It did nothing to help my fine lines and it has no SPF rating which isn't ideal for day use. To be honest, my $11 Sukin moisturiser works better. I will say though that this might be a good fit for those with sensitive skin, just not at that price.

Ive used this every day for about 6 weeks. It’s nice and lightweight, skin feels moisturized but not greasy which I like. A little goes a long way which is good too. Not sure it’s reduced fine lines but my skin feels smoother and doesn’t dry out during the day.

The Packaging is a nice squeeze tube with a twist off lid. The hole that the product comes out of is a nice size and gives you the right amount of product.

The product itself is a thin lite consistency with a cream colour. It smell is of a more natural scent (like you would get with organic/ natural/seaweed infused products) It blends like a lotion and a little goes a long way.

It gives my skin an illuminating glow and seems quite hydrating. I have not seen line soothing effects unless the hydration is one? Then yes I have seen a small result.

The quality and integrity of all the Trilogy skincare products in high in my opinion, I have been using the range for 1 year plus and though it is in the higher price range, the results for me, speak for themselves...a big fan!

After having tried millions of trilogy products I thought if give this a try even though I'm not on the market for line smoothing products just yet! However this product is extremely moisturising and leaves your skin feeling almost primed as well as hydrated. Love it!

I was so excited to try some trilogy products and wanted to try this because I was out of moisturiser and I often hear people rave about trilogy. I chose the line smoothing cream because I'm getting fine lines around my eyes and forehead and they are making me self conscious.

It comes in a grey squeezy 50ml tube that sits on the lid so you get all the product out Yay for not having to put your fingers in a jar. I quite like the metallic grey tube and silver lid I think it's better than just white.

You need only the tiniest little pea sized amount of this otherwise it's left feeling greasy and doesn't absorb properly. It has a white consistency thats not overly thick it's not runny either, It has only the very slightest scent that you really have to smell for.

So after using this for over 2 weeks I haven't noticed any change to the lines from this moisturiser. It probably helps more with the dryness of my skin but not the lines. Overall it's a nice moisturiser but nothing that really makes me love it and want to buy it again and again.

I received this gorgeous product in the March Beauty Box. I was very keen to try it as I have heard lots about Trilogy but have never tried any of their products.

It comes in a trilogy branded white and grey box, and then in a dark grey tube.

On first feel it is a moderately thick cream, just a lovely consistency for a day cream. It has a very mild, almost lightly citrus flavour, which is very pleasant.

The product felt lovely on my skin and absorbed easily. It made my skin feel soft and shiny, and looked fresh and smooth.

It claims to deliver maximum hydration while helping to restore elasticity for a super-supple look and firmer feel. I'd say it goes some way towards doing this, and if I were to continue to use it over months, I'm sure the results would become more and more noticeable.

At around $56.00 it is a little more expensive than I would usually be willing to pay for a day cream, but I feel like it is a fair price for a high-end product and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for this type of product in this price range. For me I would certainly buy it again when I had the budget for products of this type. I would love to try other products in this brand, as if this product is typical of the brand then it is easy to see why it has such a good reputation.
