I want to start by pointing out that I can't actually spot any differences between this one and the standard version, which kind of feels like I'm double dipping these reviews, but....
I picked this up through a BR advertisement, offering a half sized bottle for half the usual price with free shipping and samples. Trilogy got a bit confused with the samples, I think, and sent out 2 instead of three, but rectified that after it was publicised on the forum.
Just like the original version, this is a much hyped product that DOES deliver on those promises and claims.
As with the other type, I find that:
- my facial skin loves this as a spot treatment, but gets a bit oily if I use it as a whole-face moisturiser
- rosehip oil makes an incredible hair mask/serum
- rosehip oil helps minor scars, scratches and skin ickies heal much more quickly on the test of my body
The bottle looks classy, the product smells lovely, it's a non greasy oil that isn't icky to use because of the oil aspect, and it's reasonably priced for a product that you only use a tiny bit of at a time. Nature creates the best products sometimes, and Trilogy have really nailed bottling and on-selling one such product.
I personally can't tell the difference between the two, so it's a judgement call really. I'm sure the antioxidant version has been researched and planned carefully, and it's just me who doesn't know the difference :)
Packaging. Stylish classic Trilogy style. Easy to use squeeze top dropper.
Scent. Very subtle
oil: lightweight, soaks into my skin easily.
Results: my skin tone has evened out and cleared up. No spots here. My skin feels soft and subtle. I am sure the fine lines that had started developing are not as obvious.
I highly recommend this product.
Tips: Use morning and night. I use a very small amount in the morning prior to my light moisturiser and foundation. At night I tend to use more and either use it on its own or pop my night cream on after it has been soaking in for a while.
