Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream Review

This is a lovely, nourishing cream for use either at night time or in the morning. I find it works really well as a night cream, especially over top of some Trilogy Rosehip oil. However, it's also a nice day cream. It is thick, but if you have time to let it absorb before applying make up, it will leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated all day.

The smell is a lovely botanical smell that is not overpowering.

I find it rather hard to find a moisturizer that doesn't make my skin too oily (I have combination oily skin which is very prone to breakouts). However, the Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream is light and quickly absorbed without that greasy feeling afterwards. It is great, especially in winter months, when I find that my skin can get dry in places. You only need very little which makes it last a long time. Beautiful product all around!

I am a die hard Trilogy fan so it was only natural I buy this moisturiser. It comes in a plastic tube which is great as it’s hygenic to use and easy to pop in any bag. It has the typical earthy smell that all the Trilogy products have which I like but it can be overwhelming if you’re not used to it. It’s a nice consistency and easy absorbed into the skin but there was nothing stand out for me. I’ve tried other natural brands at 1/3 of the price of this product ($54) that I’ve felt worked better than this. It does moisturise the skin but leaves my face very shiny and seems to enhance my pores. I won’t buy this again for myself but it may suit others skin tone more than mine.

I received this as part of a gift with purchase, a hand 20ml travel size. Lovely natural ingredients like sweet almond oil, evening primrose, jojoba, aloe vera, chamomile, marula, orange flower, rosemary and rosaleen. The scent is hereby but nice. The cream is a thick white consistency and only a small amount is needed to cover entire face. A lack of SPF I don't like as I am more aware of sun protection now. I am using it as a night cream, and it leaves my skin hydrated and soft. I would recommend if you want a natural light moisturiser.

To start with I have combination skin that is generally not sensitive. I have lots of complaints about this product, it was really not suited to my skin at all! I found this cream to be very thick and highly scented. The scent is very earthy and herbal, not my preference at all and it was all i could smell through the day! When I first got it I used it in the morning, my usual routine is skincare, go have breakfast, brush teeth then come back to do my makeup. Usually this leaves enough time for the creams etc to set into my face before I go ahead and do my makeup, but no... this cream was still very present on my face seeming to take forever to sink into my skin. I could have blotted my skin and got a lot of residue off it, it was kind of yuck to be honest. I applied makeup over this (benefit of doubt) and wished I hadn't, my makeup was moving throughout the day and I looked terrible. Reviewing this I thought maybe this would be better suited to be a night cream. Long story short still did not like it. Too thick, too oily, too scented. reading the other reviews it seems like a lot of people do like this cream which I did find surprising to be honest, for sure seek out a sample size before you throw $40 away on a full size one and look like a slick seal all day.

Oh yes! I did like this product.

The packing is a screw top lid, squeeze tube. The hole that the product comes out of it a good size and you get the right amount of product.

The product smells amazing!!!! Like a Highend vitamin c product. The colour is white and the consistency is a thin lite cream. (That holds its its shape) It blends like a lotion and my skin just drinks it. It makes the skin feel hydrated and silky soft to the touch (almost siliconey)

I was pleasantly surprised with this moisturiser! I have extremely dry and sensitive skin so am always a little apprehensive when trying new products... But this product is great! It smells lovely, glides on easily, a little goes a long way, doesn't feel heavy on the face, no sensitive reaction, and best of all, my dry skin is moisturised! Plus, its a natural moisturiser!

This moisturiser is nice and light. It would be a perfect one for summer for people who have normal skin. I find that Trilogy's Balancing moisturiser works best for my skin but this is definitely next on the list

WOW, WOW, WOW

So this delightful tube of goodness i received in my BR beauty box.

Let me start with its amazing!! my skin looks even has a nice glow and soft oh my goodness soft!!

The scent is strong to begin with but softens quickly, the scent is amazing in the morning after a quick cleanse to aid with the horrid waking up scenario a pleasent orange zing brightens the start to your day.

The formula has a great consistency not too oily spreads over your face easily and the best part you only need such a little amount, Trilogy vital absorbs into your skin quicky without any left over residue.

I was starting to suffer from quite a few lines under my eyes and i kid you not after 3 weeks of using this cream the are miraculously dissapearing!! my skin feels hydrated and well nourished.

I have been using the 50ml tube with no problems of clooging in the end.

A rather expensive product $ 49.99 for 50 ml but to be honest its worth every penny!!!!

Basic packaging yet effective.
