I have enjoyed using this daycream.. I have found it very hydrating and great under my makeup... It has lasted all day... I see this as a good value - its nice that its a natural product and smells lovely... I would use it again.. I think it would work really great with the Rosehip oil which I have used in the past....

Tips: Let it sit on your skin for 10 minutes or so before putting make up on... and very nice to put on when just out of the shower and your skin is damp and warm....
This moisturiser is nice and light. It would be a perfect one for summer for people who have normal skin. I find that Trilogy's Balancing moisturiser works best for my skin but this is definitely next on the list
I squeaked a bit with excitement when I opened my amazing Beauty Review March Beauty Box and saw this Trilogy tube nestled within. I've long wanted to try Trilogy face products but haven't been able to justify the pricetag just in case they don't work for me.
This is the Vital Moisturising Cream, which came in a tasteful 50ml tube with a gorgeous brushed silver lid, and burgundy and black writing on a creamy background with a hint of pink to it. It looks lush and expensive just from the packaging alone!
The cream itself is thick and white, with a (very typical of Trilogy) botanical scent that is not overpowering , but pleasant and relaxing.
The cream spreads well - a pea sized amount will do your whole face - and is very rich and nourishing. Because of this, it can take a while to settle in, and so I choose to use it as a night cream and use a lighter one in the mornings.
I wake now to luscious, hydrated skin that feels plumped up and full of moisture, but not at all greasy. I haven't broken out once since I began using this.
My 'would I buy this again' is tricky here. It's too expensive for me, realistically, even though it's lovely. Duty Free, perhaps - we'll see how we go. I'd definitely consider it as it is seriously good.
Luckily I received the moisturiser as a gift as I would not spend $50 for this, even though it was great. I love natural products and the scent of this slightly thicker textured cream absorbed readily. You only use a very small amount as it spreads easily so the tube lasted a long time. The next morning my skin felt smooth and moist, yet not with that oil slick feel that some products leave. The tube makes it easy to take away on holidays and being 50 ml is light in your makeup bag. I am looking for Trilogy specials before I purchase another though.
The first impression was it smells exactly like the Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Night Cream I used before (smell like herb with a bit of orange rosy smell). Probably the 2 two products have some identical ingredients. It absorbs quickly, feel lightweight, very moisturising and not oily. It makes my skin look healthy, feel smoother. It is a good night cream and not heavy for a day cream either.
Tips: can use it for under eyes areas.
Thanks to the BRBB I was introduced to trilogy moisturizers and my collection has exploded! I love love trilogy!
So the tube is typical trilogy, the lid looks like luxury matches perfect with the rest of the range. Even the grey tubes I have.
The cream is a nice consistency. It's not as thick as another one of the range I have. It smells lovely. I can smell orange and when ypu rub it between your hands I smell anaceed.
It doesn't sit on the skin to make it greasy. It soaks in nicely. This one is gorgeous under mineral foundation. It kind of helps the mineral cling to your skin.
As for the wrinkle bit, i have put it on the back of my hand now, rubbed it in and watching some wrinkles, yes they sort of lift up and make them way less noticeable. Doesn't totally hide them. When my skin is on the dry side I do feel a very very slight tingle. It's ok though.
Will I buy this again?? Yes!!
I love this moisturiser, it absorbs so fast and makes my skin feel luscious also smells lovely. I have noticed my skin less tired looking over the few weeks I have been using it.
Tips: Still use a separate eye cream.
I was NOT a fan of this when I first started.... the scent put me off. However, I persevered and the longer I used it, the more I loved the product! I have a weird combination skin going on at the moment, with oily patches and really dry patches, and this seemed to work well on both, I've had a few compliments that my skin started looking better. I found it to be quite light and not greasy to put on and will buy it again!
Tips: Be careful not to put too much on or your face might feel a bit too greasy!
I love Trilogy products. They are natural and New Zealand made. This cream comes in a white plastic tube with a silver lid.
The consistancy is quite thick so would be best suited for quite dry skin. My skin is not very dry, it is closer to normal now so I found this a bit too much for me.
If your skin is on the dry side, this cream would be amazing for you. It is very moisturising and norishing and your skin feels soft, hydrated and nourished after using it. The fragrance is quite natural, I do get a hint of lavendar in it which I quite like. You can use this morning and night.
Tips: Ask for a sample instore to try this cream.
is a nice light product that is easy to use . i found it a little strong smelling at frist but it is very nice. made my skin feel nice under makeup
Tips: i wondered is there was one that you could get with spf in it for the day?
